The total number of participants is 23. Throughout the mobility, our students have trained on Aluminum Facade Systems.Sapanca national education directorates who participated in the mobility have led the group as the main task, have carried out monitoring and observation activities and have worked to transfer samples of data collection for dissemination studies. Our second mobility; From 17.04.2017-02.05.2017, it was completed as a teacher mobility from Information Technologies in Riga State Technical School. A total of 9 teachers participated in our second activity. Actually, the number of participants determined in the project is 10 teachers, but it was done with 9 people because of the problem that 1 teacher was allowed to leave abroad and instead there were no other staff fulfilling the same criteria. Our teachers have implemented project activities planned on C Programming Language throughout mobility. Our project has the objectives determined in the writing phase; helping our students to improve their natural resources, providing internship opportunities in Europe, introducing different cultures to our students and providing European Union awareness, increasing the importance of their profession and increasing their professional development, gaining tolerance towards foreign societies, to improve the recognition in our region, to ensure that our institutions are in the international field, and to contribute to the 2020 training strategy of the national agency. He has also identified new technologies and experienced vocational training practices in different countries and institutions. Our participants have returned to our country by acquiring the qualifications of their foreign partners in their fields by learning the different and similar applications, innovations and technical equipment used in the related fields. After the preparatory trainings (pedagogy, language and cultural trainings) given before the mobilities, they have improved their language skills, professional skills and tolerance as well as the practical application and use of their achievements. Participants who are in need of communicating abroad have conceptualized the importance of language learning. Participants who had a chance to live and work in a different culture were able to achieve both linguistic and professional developments and to avoid prejudices stemming from cultural differences.During the project implementation period and afterwards, communication between our manager, our applicant owner, and our project partners, to develop cooperation models, to provide solidarity contribution. Each institution in the consortium has strengthened the project implementation capacity and in the coming years will be able to produce more efficient, high value added, multiplier effect large projects.

The special characteristics of our students compels teachers to continually research new methods of allowing us to develop different ways of learning. We are aware that although the curriculum at our centre is the study of English, we do not show sufficient sensitivity and we, therefore, need to internationalize and, to acquire this new competence, the centre needs to adapt a more European approach. To address these needs two mobility activities have been developed with six participants, two teachers and four students. Our experience as a receiving organization for two Latvian students during 2017-2018 academic year has confirmed the realization of European mobility projects’ usefulness. During the third quarter, the first activity will involve sending two teachers to the Luksia, Municipal Education and Training Centre in Finland for a one week “job shadowing” assignment. This centre has extensive experience in international projects and will greatly assist us in achieving different forms of learning. The language of this action, English, will not only help improve the linguistic competence of our teachers but boost motivation. The second activity is the practical training of four students in two vocational training centres specialising in Personal Image, two hairdressing students in Pärnumaa Kutsehariduskeskus centre in Estonia and two aesthetic students in Stila un modes tehnikums centre in Latvia. This will be for a period of one month in their FCT internship period (160 hours of a total of 380 hours). During their stay activities encouraging cultural awareness will be carried out and these will contribute to the development of social awareness and the acquisition of linguistic competence especially in the workplace. Likewise they will also begin to understand the differences in culture in other European countries. The common characteristics of our centre will allow all students and teachers to participate in these new experiences which are being carried out. The main activities implemented by the project partners are: • Preparation of mobility including selection, evaluation and prior training of participants, logistic and contractual aspects, also co-ordination • The execution of their visit – their work within the companies and at school. Mobility also includes cultural activities • Diffusion: All activities relating to this project will be announced through the social networks of the centre (facebook, Instagram) and website. Both groups, students and teachers will describe their experiences in talks, video conferences and the centre’s app DINANTIA. • The evaluation of participants: they will be evaluated on the skills acquire during this period and will be certified by FCT. The faculty will be evaluated according to the feasibility and application of their resources. All the qualitative and quantitative evaluation instruments are detailed in the project. Short and medium term effects include employability (one of the main objectives of this project which will be reinforced by cultural, linguistic and personal attitude). Among the long term impacts we highlight the promotion of entrepreneurship in young employment and hope to raise European awareness in vocational training students, increasing the network of contacts within the centre’s future projects. Finally, it is important to point out that the impact and objectives of our experience may be the driving force behind creating new projects in study centres close to our own. It will contribute to the achievement of the 2020 strategic priorities and help the EU and its member states to generate employment, productivity and social cohesion.
