"This project represents a collective process of organizations from 13 countries that agreeing that is crucial to develop a new culture of youth participation, especially when it regards the decision-making in the issues that are of direct concern and interest of youth, decided to develop a project that culminate with a large scale international conference involving directly 42 youth workers, youth leaders and public officers with responsibilities in the youth work and youth policy field.We will also develop the competence and awareness of both youth workers and local authorities officials to be able to reach an effective dialogue and build together platforms that “some are not working FOR but we all are working WITH each others - youth and authorities are building together!"". With the implementation of our International Conference ""Youth Policy at Local and Regional level: Developing our territories trough youth participation in decision making” that will take place in Faro, Portugal, we aim to increase the capacity and awareness of local authorities, youth workers and youth leaders to be able to cooperate for the development of local youth policies that are able to address, specific policy fields such as employment, youth participation, inclusion, and youth emancipation and quality in youth work. Our conference objectives are:- To identify and to promote structures and mechanisms for youth participation in decision-making and debate about their potential and challenges on public governance;- To develop more inclusive approaches to foster the participation of young people with fewer opportunities into spaces such as local youth councils and youth fora;- To develop the capacity of the participants to work together (civil society and public authorities) on the field of youth public policy;- To allow youth organizations and municipalities to share their best practices in terms of cooperation between local authorities and civil society;- To support the development and implementation of Youth Guarantee schemes at local and regional level in coordination with all relevant stakeholders;The methodology of our 4 days conference will be based on a diversity of methods and approaches used in non-formal education, that will allow to increase participation of all the individuals at the same time that will address different working and learning styles in a way that will create a productive and efficient working environment. A combination of plenary sessions, with small groups moments, using a participatory based methods will increase the engagement of all group.Our project will not only increase the capacity of the participating organizations to more effectively engage young people in the decision making process and development of local youth policies but will also produce a publication and a conclusions document that will compile our conference results and the research exercise done by the partners, that will be used to mainstream and inspire many other local authorities and civil society organizations to change their approach on youth work and youth policy development at local level. We believe that stakeholders will came the capacity to look at youth, and its energy, creativity and potential for change, as a source of solutions for our society’s challenges and also that these challenges need to be addressed at local level, where local actors can cooperate and contribute to policy reforms on local level but also influence national and European policy processes becoming relevant actors on setting the agendas that will affect their lives."

<< Objectives >>Este proyecto ha sido diseñado para abordar uno de los desafíos a los que se enfrenta Europa en la actualidad: desafíos sociales y ambientales urgentes. Los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas (ODS) se han elaborado para abordar estos problemas y son un llamado a la acción para acabar con la pobreza, proteger el planeta y garantizar que todas las personas disfruten de la paz y la acción hacia la sostenibilidad. Alcanzar estos objetivos requiere repensar las acciones de nuestra sociedad en todas partes, desde los gobiernos hasta las empresas y las ONG.Por lo tanto, nuestro principal objetivo fue reunir a 30 jóvenes de 5 países para desarrollar una mentalidad sostenible hacia un estilo de vida ecológico adoptando al menos una medida respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Este intercambio de jóvenes ha permitido el intercambio de prácticas y herramientas a través de actividades interactivas.Los objetivos específicos de este proyecto fueron:Estimular la ciudadanía europea activa en cuestiones medioambientales entre 30 jóvenes animándoles a desarrollar una mentalidad sostenible hacia un estilo de vida ecológico mediante la adopción de al menos una medida respetuosa con el medio ambiente.Desarrollar las aptitudes de los jóvenes para identificar al menos tres actividades que dañan a las personas hacia el medio ambiente y para reflejar cómo estas afectan a sus comunidades locales.Creación de una red informal de intercambio de experiencias y buenas prácticas de sostenibilidad, políticas e iniciativas de economía verde con la participación de 30 jóvenes apoyados por 5 organizaciones juveniles.Empoderar a 30 jóvenes de 5 países para que actúen en su propia comunidad local a través de al menos una actividad de sensibilización sobre el cambio climático realizada en cada país, cuyos resultados estarán disponibles en las redes sociales con el hashtag del proyecto (#YouthAct4SDG).<< Implementation >>Durante todo el proyecto se hizo uso de métodos de educación no formal: discusiones en espacios abiertos, talleres, limpieza de playas, taller de microplásticos, introducción de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible y las tres dimensiones del desarrollo sostenible: económica, social y ambiental, donde los participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de dirigir sus propios talleres y compartir sus propias prácticas ecológicas relacionadas con su estilo de vida.Implementamos las siguientes actividades:Día 2 - Presentación de los participantes y teambuilding (rompehielos, creación de dinámicas de grupo), introducción al tema y Erasmus + y para concluir, una presentación del Youthpass.Día 3 - Introducción a las notas conceptuales del proyecto, qué es la sostenibilidad, cuáles son los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible y qué es el Green Deal.Día 4 - Realización de un taller de microplásticos con el proyecto Creando con Ciencia en la playa de Bristol en Corralejo. Divididos en equipos más pequeños se realizó un muestreo de microplásticos simbólico de la línea de marea.Día 5 - Nos enfocamos en las dimensiones de sustentabilidad: sustentabilidad social, ODS 3: Salud y bienestar, ODS 4: Educación de calidad y ODS 6: Agua limpia y saneamiento, también debatimos sobre la parte de implementación para cada uno de ellos. Uno de los métodos utilizados fue: manifiesto de residuos, sostenibilidad ambiental, ODS 13: Acción por el clima, ODS 14: La vida bajo el agua y ODS 15: La vida en la tierra y por último, la dimensión económica de la sostenibilidad, ODS 8: Trabajo decente y crecimiento económico, ODS 9: Industria, innovación e infraestructura y ODS 10: Reducción de las desigualdades. Usamos los juegos: ¿Qué tan grande es mi pie? - Calculamos la huella ecológica y discutimos los cambios de estilo de vida sostenible que podemos hacer para disminuir nuestras huellas.Día 6 - Se realizó una limpieza y caracterización de residuos en la playa Bristol en Corralejo con el equipo del Observatorio de Basuras Marinas del Cabildo de Fuerteventura (OBAM). Los participantes se dividieron en dos grupos y cada uno hizo un transecto de cien y mil metros respectivamente. Posteriormente se analizaron y caracterizaron los residuos más abundantes y se rellenaron unos estadillos con estos datos. Día 7 - En conclusión, presentamos brevemente el programa Erasmus + y las oportunidades que se presentan a lo largo de una actividad interactiva. También tuvimos la evaluación final, durante la cual los participantes se tomaron el tiempo para evaluar el programa de esta YE y reflexionar sobre sus experiencias de aprendizaje. Han identificado sus habilidades y conocimientos recientemente desarrollados y han completado sus competencias en el sistema YouthPass. También se han distribuido YouthPasses, y se han discutido los eventos de seguimiento.Es importante señalar que debido a la intensidad del proyecto, los participantes han tenido reuniones preparatorias con sus organizaciones de envío y han trabajado en sus países de origen antes del proyecto de movilidad. Tuvieron que reunirse y preparar la noche intercultural e informarse sobre buenas prácticas relacionadas con la sostenibilidad en sus países.En total, el proyecto involucró a 25 participantes más 5 líderes de 5 países europeos distintos (España, Polonia, Chipre, Rumania, Eslovenia). Dado que el proyecto era muy específico en el tema de la sostenibilidad, los participantes fueron jóvenes de las comunidades de las organizaciones socias, voluntarios de las organizaciones de envío, jóvenes involucrados en la sostenibilidad o interesados ​​en desarrollar sus conocimientos en este campo, activistas sociales o estudiantes de Universidades vinculadas a la sostenibilidad que quieran ampliar sus conocimientos en un entorno educativo no formal. Los líderes del grupo eran trabajadores jóvenes dentro de las organizaciones.<< Results >>A nivel organizativo, la asociación socia ahora tendrá a los jóvenes equipados con las herramientas y métodos necesarios para empoderar a la comunidad local. Los participantes aprendieron a reconocer ejemplos positivos de actividades e individuos que contribuyen de diversas formas al bienestar de los jóvenes y sus comunidades. Son más conscientes y aprenderán más sobre el tema de la sostenibilidad y todos los diferentes campos involucrados en ella. También aprenderán cómo usar los medios sociales y digitales para el bien social de sus compañeros con el fin de generar un impacto social.Además, esta cooperación también crea un entorno más moderno, dinámico y profesional dentro de las organizaciones, mejorando sus habilidades organizativas y de gestión:Cinco organizaciones tienen miembros profundamente conscientes con el medio ambiente, los problemas y la sostenibilidad. Son organizaciones sostenibles, activas y respetuosas con el medio ambiente.Dentro de las cinco organizaciones, se mejoraron las habilidades de planificación, coordinación y gestión de proyectos al trabajar a nivel internacional con personas de diferentes orígenes.Se brinda mayor sensibilidad sobre el enfoque educativo intercultural y no formal entre los miembros de las organizaciones.Lo que logramos con este proyecto es que los jóvenes:Se sientan estimulados como ciudadanos europeos con respecto a las cuestiones medioambientales y adquieran actitudes proactivas con respecto al desarrollo sostenible.Sean conscientes de los ODS, de la sostenibilidad medioambiental y la economía del reciclaje, del transporte sostenible, del desperdicio de alimentos, de la moda sostenible. Que apliquen en la vida actual los principios de la economía circular y contribuyan a largo plazo a la protección del medio ambiente.Tengan una actitud positiva hacia las herramientas digitales, que pueden crear una campaña en línea.Tengan un comportamiento responsable y respetuoso con el medio ambiente entre los jóvenes.

"<< Objectives >>""Building bridges for youth empowerment"" has as main goal the improvement of the work with the young people and the increase of the impact in the community of the youth centers partners in the project.The project has the following objectives:- promoting the exchange of good practices of the 5 youth centers from Europe partners in the project-connecting people from local communities so that the 5 youth centers included in the project to become open spaces for all categories of young people.<< Implementation >>The project has the following activities:-Design thinking course and community participation for all project partners. The course will be held in Ramnicu Valcea by a trainer with experience in the youth field-Building networks for youth centers. Each Center will organize two community meetings in which young people can connect with key people in the community.-Sharing good practices. Each Center will host the partners for 4 days-Final meeting-Evaluation and Follow up<< Results >>-20% increase in the number of young people with reduced opportunities who attend partner youth centers in the next 2 years- at least 3 youth centers that implement entrepreneurial plans for the sustainability of the centers in the next year after the end of the project-achieving at least one partnership between the 5 youth centers in the next year after the end of the project-improvement by 30% of the work with the young people and the relationship with the community for all the partners"

The “Tic Tac Toe” youth exchange took place from 26th August to 1st September 2018 in Ochoz u Konice and Olomouc. The participants were a total of 21 young people from Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia. The topic of the project was time and time management. The aim of the project was to make the participants realize how they manage their time, to find out what works for them and discover places for improvement. Different activities of informal education made it possible for us to consider the topic of time from many perspectives, including time management, procrastination, effective ways of spending time, but also work-life balance, overwork and stress. The goal was not to give the participants one correct manual on time planning, but rather to show them that time management is an individual matter and everyone should pick themselves what suits them best. The project is based on conviction that it is necessary to know ourselves and our own culture profoundly to be able to understand different cultures and customs as well. We believe that the project contributed not only to improvement of self-knowledge and key competences of the participants, but also to spread tolerance and break stereotypes, which is of great importance nowadays.

The project ATOL: Advanced Training of Leadership is a mobility of youth workers from Croatia, United Kingdom, Moldova, Albania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Serbia, Netherlands and Romania, which will be held in Zagreb, from 1st to 6th of December. The total duration of the project is 6 months, and it will include 33 youth workers and youth leaders who will work together to advance their professional and personal skills.Youth work is demanding and takes a tool on youth workers, requiring a lot of their time, dedication, motivation and constant improvement of working methods. This is why we decided to organize this training. Trough 6 days of mobility activities we want to restore the motivation of youth workers, teach them new tools and techniques, offer them an exchange of good practices and establish lasting friendships and connections between different organizations. Trough this project we are promoting the principles of Servant Leadership. It is a type of leadership which requires leaders to cultivate humility and respect for others - according to this principle the leader is the caretaker of people. This is a very important trait in working with volunteers, because they require leadership but in the form of inspiration and mentorship. The objectives of the project are to:- facilitate the attainment of knowledge, skills and attitudes in the framework of non - formal and informal education- develop skills that can increase the productivity and professional competences of youth workers- increase satisfaction in their daily work- promote European cooperation in the youth field- promote active and European citizenship- increase the quality of youth work and support systems for youth activities- increase the understanding and responsiveness to social, linguistic and cultural diversityAll methodologies and methods used will promote the participants' active participation and active learning. The emphasis will be on learning by doing, which means that the participants will learn about non - formal education by experiencing it on their own skin. Alongside that, information sessions/lectures will be incorporated in the activities, also in an interactive way.The main methodologies and methods used are: experiential learning, cooperative learning, participation and peer learning, brainstorming, buzz groups, team building and energizers, presentations, lectures, role plays, case studies, Open Space Technology, mid - term and final evaluations, etc.The expected impact on the participants of the ATOL project is a measurable improvement of their competences and motivation in their daily work. They will gain concrete methods, exercises and knowledges, and use them in their future work with youth. Alongside that, they will be acquainted with experiences and good practices of other organizations and practices of youth work in other countries.During the project, the participants will improve their linguistic competences and cultural awareness and be more prone to participate actively in the society. They will learn valuable information about Erasmus+, European values and projects, and be more likely to get involved in them in the future. They will have a greater understanding on non - formal and informal education and a greater sensitivity for social, cultural and language differences. The participants and partner organizations are expected to disseminate their knowledge, methods and experience first to their collages in their organizations and then to other local and national organizations and youth workers/leaders. This will be achieved trough workshops and seminars held by the organizations participating in this project, for other organizations in their local community. This practice will cause a snowball effect which will involve more and more organizations and bring long term benefits in the form of higher quality youth workers and better programs that the organizations are providing to the youth. It will also encourage other organizations to take part in different mobility and exchange programs.The other long term goal we are trying to achieve is the recognition and validation of non - formal and informal education results, trough promoting it and giving the adequate tools and knowledges to those who provide it.
