"There are some fundamental problems faced by Europe in general and small towns in particular, such as high unemployment rates that lead to the migration of young people to big cities or even abroad. A recent development to address these problems is the concept of social enterprise. In our strategy as organization we have decided to focus more on the area of Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship as a means to promote environmentally and community friendly, locally produced goods and services. We have decided to start with a training course that would allow us to share and learn more with our peers interested in developing ways to engage young people in entrepreneurial and social economy activities. Thus, Social Economy Lab project was built. Social Economy Lab was a project built around a 5 days training course aimed at improving the competences of youth workers in entrepreneurial education of young people and in approaching social entrepreneurship within their community work, as an alternative solution to social, environmental and economical problems of small towns and villages. The training course took place between 2 and 8 April 2016 in Aiud, Romania. Participants in the project were 23 youth workers (trainers, mentors, project managers, project designers) from 10 organizations based in Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania, Spain and Turkey. They were actively involved in the work with youth in their communities, willing to get more active in the field of entrepreneurial education, and had an intense with the communities that they are part of. The objectives we had for our project were: 1. Generating a better understanding among the participating youth workers regarding their role in providing entrepreneurial learning and in bringing to life youngsters’ interest in social entrepreneurship;2. Facilitating the exchange of methods, tools and practices useful in the development and support of social entrepreneurship among young people and developing participants’ skills in using them;3. Developing a sense of responsibility among the participants regarding the different ways in which young people can actively participate in the local economy. During the project participants were involved in a preparatory phase of the training course by mapping out their specific and community-based needs. During the training itself we had a range of workshops, case study analyses, group reflections and group work, sharing space, experimental laboratories, field-trips and activities with members of the community. All activities during the training course were based on non-formal education approach. Following their return to local communities they were given the opportunity to put into practice what they have gained during the training course in the planned follow-up activities and share with their local communities within the framework of this project, as well as beyond it.The main results that we have as a result of this project are:- 23 youth workers better equipped to work with young people and increase their entrepreneurial competences in the field of social entrepreneurship, - a number of ""prototypes"" of social enterprises that is aimed to guide, support and further inspire young people in participating countries to set up their own social enterprise.- a toolkit built by and with the participants in this project for the wider community of youth workers who wish to engage in entrepreneurial education for young people. As far as the young people and local communities are concerned, beneficiaries such as unemployed youngsters hve been offered the opportunity to get involved and take matters into own hands. The projects in the process of implementation by the partner organizations are setting an example for the local community. They are targeting the increase in employment, social inclusion, and the number of young entrepreneurs in the community. Following the project and the common efforts we have deployed together with our partners, we are confident that this will not only bring benefits to the employees, but to the local society, by offering a social value to the goods and services produced. And, as an ultimate goal, by creating sustainable development opportunities for young people in their own communities and preventing them from migration to cities or from unemployment-related health and behavioral problems."

The project was based on one of INPRO’s local initiatives called Open Cafe which has been successfully running in Rzeszow since 2016. It was initially created in response to the increasing number of immigrants moving to Rzeszow, Poland to study or work. Open Cafe is a social and open event that is based on non-formal methods of education. It is a space where every week people take part in a thematic workshop related to human rights, social issues, education or politics. During Open Cafe people meet, break stereotypes about each other and debate different issues. They also learn how to actively listen, be respectful and express their opinions in a clear manner. The success of this format in Rzeszow brought the coordinating organization to the conclusion that Open Cafe can be a universal method of social integration in many countries. That is why INPRO decided to promote Open Cafe and invite partner organizations to realize the concept in their cities and together they created this project. The project focused on realizing Open Cafe events in 4 cities across Europe: Rzeszow in Poland, Magenta in Italy, Malmo in Sweden and Patras in Greece. The direct participants of the project were young people representing partner organizations who took up the challenge of becoming the host of Open Cafe events in their local communities. The project also involved all together around 720 locals, those being the attendees of Open Cafe events. Within the project, we conducted three international training sessions to prepare hosts to organize Open Cafe. Also, the partner organizations developed the intellectual outputs: the digital manual “How to organize Open Cafe?” as well as series of video tutorials and project recaps promoting the format of Open Cafe among other organizations. The results were disseminated during one Multiplier Event as well as through an ongoing online dissemination campaign across Europe.

"Youth exchange called ""We Come As One"" was conceived when young people from partner organizations during the conversation realized that very few young people from their community are aware that every human being has the right to protect their rights and that human rights violations are happening almost constantly in front of eyes of young people who are unable to detect this problem and somehow ignore it. Through the media, we are overwhelmed with news of a political, economic and refugee crisis, and human rights do not come to the fore. Therefore, the stakeholders of this project wanted participants to provide basic knowledge of human rights, protection and prevention of discrimination and encourage them to become active citizens who would promote human rights and build a better society in their communities. One of the main goals of the European Union is to become a community where everyone will have equal opportunities and opportunities regardless of the diversity that Europe is rich and regardless of the country that is part of Europe. Therefore, the objective of the project is to awaken the awareness of young people about fundamental human rights and encourage them to engage in their communities in the field of protection and promotion of human rights and to spread the voice of how important it is. The main activity of the project will be held in Osijek from 01.12.-08.12.2017, and the Interaktiva Association will host six people from organizations from Lithuania, Poland, Greece, Macedonia, Turkey and Croatia. Participants aged 16-28, along with the leader, will have an opportunity through informal learning and different methods of learning learn about human rights. Methods such as workshops, group work, work in pair, discussion, and human rights-related meetings will help young people to actively engage in raising awareness of human rights and organize activities that will be of interest to other young people in their community to become active human rights fighters at the local, regional, and European level. By sharing their experiences and achievements on the main activity, participants will contribute to promoting human rights and building a better society. What is main goal on this project is increasing of awarness about protection and respecting of human rights between young people and encurageing them to become part of their community and be active citizens that will spread gained skills to their friends and to others. We want that participants become motivated, gain new experience and learn new things in this field. During main activity, participant will gain key competance from YouthPass, based on topic of project and it is expected that they continue to work on field of protection of human rights and active citizenship. Because partners are from different parts of Europe, participants will work in multicultural environment and be aware of differences that Europe is rich. Activities that this project is full, participants will gain in nonformal way experince and get to know methods that can use later in their education and in encuranging other to become active citizens. We expect that learning results, that will be reflected and documented trough Youthpass, participants will transfer in their organizations and local communities and act like multipliers to take initiatives to spread awareness of the importance of knowing and protecting human rights."

"This activity was a youth exchange with the title Taste of Europe. The main subject of this project is gastronomy, to discover our gastronomy heritage and to discuss how and what we deliver from the past to the future with the slogan ‘Our heritage: where the past meets the future’ We all realize this unique role of the food and the heritage of gastronomy and that's why we decided to use it as one of our main topics for the international youth exchange, where we will bring together 54 people from 9 countries of the Europe. This activity is a mobility project for young people, an international youth exchange program, that takes place in Xylokastro town, Corinth region and involves 8 partners from the Programme Countries and the host country, Greece. Each partner organization will delegate 5 youngsters and 1 group leader. We will host groups from Spain, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Latvia, Slovakia, Sweden and Netherlands. The activity dates are 16/09/2018 – 23 / 09/ 2018 (8 days) This will be unique experience not only for the participants themselves but we will make it an experience also for the local community in Xylokastro. Our objective with this activity is to get to know the cultures of all the partner's countries through their cuisines and food history, through their ""food stories"" and to enjoy together the diversity of our countries and surprises that it always brings. The goal of our organization with the activity and hosting international youth exchange with 48 foreign participants from other European countries in Xylokastro that the impact of the program not to be limited only on the participants but with the same importance on the local community as well. By implementing this exchange in Xylokastro, we bring the local community in close contact with foreign youngsters. During the activity will use a various non formal education methods as presentations, discussions, working groups, demonstrations, visits, team building games, brainstormings. All of the partner organizations agree on the importance of sharing and spreading the project results, because we are aware that this way all the partner organizations will raise the profile of the organization, we can create new opportunities to extend the project and its results, to develop new partnerships for the future but also increases awareness of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program. We will create tangible materials but also we will follow an active social media strategy, so we plan to actively communicate through social media and gain following throughout the duration of the project. For young people, who are our main target group, these channels are the most natural pathways of communication. Using Facebook and Instagram we plan to capture large young audiences in Greece and all partner´s countries. The communication strategy aims to make these audience part of the whole experience. The central communication on social media will be complemented the whole time by the participants´ activity on social media, within their networks and on the project page on FB."
