The national network consisted of 5 vocational colleges in Eastern Finland (LOG-EF network): SAKKY - Kuopio, YSAO - Iisalmi, PKKY - Joensuu, Esedu - Mikkeli and SAMI - Savonlinna. LOG-EF network had implemented international projects with good results also before, and these results were used as a foundation for this mobility project. International partner schools in this project were from Denmark, Norway and Croatia. The target group of the project was all logistics students of the Finnish colleges: both youngsters and adults, including also the students in apprenticeship training. Most of the participating students took part into two week long training modules in Denmark and Norway. Content of the training was professional: for example in Norway ""First aid and social regulations"". Some of the students carried out their practical training (4 weeks) abroad, in Denmark and Croatia. Training was organized in local transportation companies and offered an valuable experience of working in other European transportation company. All the participating students gained knowledge, competences and skills of international tranportation that they could not achieve in their own home school or even in their home country. Also a lot of teachers participated to mobilities, some of them only guiding students through their mobility experience - some having their first touch and understanding to international mobility and vocational training in foreign colleges. Concerning staff most important aim was to involve new teachers to international activities. As a result of this project many Finnish logistics students had a chance to gain professional skills abroad. The staff of colleges was as widely involved to the project as possible. Mobility was reciprocal: colleges from Denmark and Croatia sent their students to Finland via this international mobility network. The established network for international cooperation will continue to work together also after this project. All are sending students to each other's colleges via other mobility projects. Some of the colleges are also planning to apply a common strategic partnership project together later on."

The present technology advances with a rattling rate. In order to compete with the market and to catch up with technology it must be kept in stepped with. CNC and CAD/CAM systems are the basis of the developments at development in machine sector. Industry sector follows the development closely but they have lack of qualified staff. Having technology is not enough. Because the lack of qualified people shows itself everywhere.Blue Gears B.V. ve Stork Gears & Services companies are the two of biggest companies in the world that make the highest rate of gear production and maintenance with their cooperative works. These companies had the first lasercladding system with their own patent by making innovation in Lasercladding and CAD systems. They have enormous knowledge about Lasercladding and CAD systems. We, as our school, want to reflect this knowledge to our teachers and students. So we decided to work together in a project with organisations and companies expert in this area. We aimed to examine Lasercladding and CAD systems that is a new technology and owned by few organisations and companies and to share knowledgeNorth Karelia Municipal Education and Training Consortium(Pkki.fi) in Finland Joensuu is the best technical school that gives VET. They have new technologies on CNC and Laser Cladding. they have highly qualified trainers and teachers. When we got in touch with them about another project, They declared that they could host us willingy. We saw that the school in Jounseuu would an added value to our participants. We decided to make partnership with the school. Our beneficiaries were our students in10th.11th and 12th classes of Machine Technology and Woodwork Technology Departments. Our group consisted of 7 students, 1 companion and 5 teachers from Machine Technology and 7 students, 1 companion and 4 teachers from Woodwork Technology Departments. The teachers and the students had education in this area must have known the needs of the market in order to train staff having necessary assessories for labour power market in woodwork sector. There isnot parallelism between the education organisations and crafts in our region according to the needs of labour power market, this is also the same throughout our country. Woodwork, that is again getting to be important at present, is started to be used intensely house construction, inner and outer furnishings. The wood, that is environment-friendly and harmless for human health, is much more important now since the environment is polluted with plastic productions that are almost impossible to be dissolved. In Finland the usage of CNC, CAD/ CAM and Lasercladding systems at wood and furniture processing and the support of wood to human life is at a very high level. At present in wood and furniture processing, CNC, CAD/ CAM and Lasercladding systems forms a huge part of processing. According to the needs of labour power market it is known there is a great need of qualified staff having knowledge about CNC, CAD/ CAM and Lasercladding systems in wood and furniture processing. In order to have a respactable place in labour power market people must keep in step with present technology. The education given by our teachers in Woodwork Technology Department goes on by using the developed education Technologies and methods in order to train qualified human power who can respond customer requests, can use time and resources efficiently and will not make themselves stay behind the vocational developments. In this context in our schools education about inner residence and furniture technology, inner residence and furniture draftmanship and wood carpentering is given. Our students are mostly at Inner Residence and Furniture Technology Department. With this project the expected results are as follows; the beneficiaries will make an added value to their organisation?s knowledge about European norms about the project subject by transferring their acquisitions they had in Europe. Our graduates will be preferential at labour power market by the education and certificates they had in Europe. By the way the beneficiaries will have the chance to see new and different cultures with this mobility activity.
