Improving and modernising education systems are a key priority for the EU. Educational organisations have to evolve and adapt to the current trends and educational needs in order to achieve their core mission: to educate students to make them successful in their lives and in today’s interconnected world which faces rapid technological, cultural, economic and demographic changes.Technological developments and engagement with the internet have affected the way students learn. The knowledge, skills and attitudes of European teachers are of great importance. It is obvious that in the age of secondary level students it is difficult to motivate them to spend their time by learning. And the teachers are those who play a critical role as implementers of the good teaching methods at all stages. To get better results, teachers must know, if he/she does not know, then to learn how to use effective, modern and innovative tools and techniques to embroider the learning environments. In today’s digital generation gamification has become a popular tactic to encourage specific behaviours, and to increase students’ motivation and engagement to get the knowledge and skills. Though commonly found in marketing strategies in business among companies, it is now being implemented in many educational programs as well, helping educators to find the balance between achieving their objectives and students’ educational needs. At the same time gamification is an international tool which can be used in different educational systems, adapted according to the teacher’s individual needs and widely spread to the teachers’ practice. There are different ways of teaching and different ways of using gamification in every country, so that is why it is very useful to create a partnership on international level and to share the best practice and ideas connected with implementation of gamification in the learning environment. The project G.A.M.E. will concentrate on gamification of teachers learning environment by sharing existing best practice from educational sector and also from non profit sector. During joint staff trainings and blended mobilities teachers and educators will share their ideas, different experience with the use of gamification, experience with the use of ICT for gamification and others. They will collect their experience and innovative methods to MOOc, so a set of innovative gamification practice and tools will be created and reachable for any teachers who will decide to use them. There are going to be 4 joint staff trainings and 4 Blended mobilities of secondary level students. The project G.A.M.E. intends to develop the competences of teachers to gamify their learning and teaching environments with the use of ICT.So it will have an impact on the teachers to acquire innovative teaching methods and students to raise their motivation and engagement in education environments. The dissemination plan will help to reach as many target groups and stakeholders as possible. Each partner offers unique amount of knowledge and experience representing the sectors addressed in the project. This is a good precondition for expectation of reasonable cooperation and reaching planned results.

Innovative eTwinners Can Do More is a project meant to foster exchange of good practices with the use of eTwinning, Web 2.0 tools and technology enhanced teaching and learning. The project will last 24 months and involve different types of secondary schools from: Poland, Turkey, Italy, Croatia and Macedonia. The background of the project lies in significant impact of eTwinning on the development of teaching skills, teaching practices and the ability to teach cross-curricular skills. The survey results on eTwinning illustrate that according to teachers, eTwinning has had a particularly positive impact on their project-based teaching skills and foreign language skills, as well as multi-disciplinary teaching, students’ competence development, student-centred discussions and the development of learning skills. More than 90% of respondents have contributed to eTwinning to improve interpersonal relationships by enhancing student motivation and promoting collaborative work among students. In relation to schools. We believe IECDM project should be funded as it is innovative by implementing several eTwinning projects on various topics related to Erasmus+ programme priorities. Thus, implementing such a project at European level, we can have a greater impact on the usage of eTwinning platform and dissemination of eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects at European level. BACKGROUNDThe project is interdisciplinary and multileveled as it refers to all the subjects (the choice of the subject depends on the target group of students, teachers involved in it and their expertise and the type of the school). Theoretical part is limited only to getting to know the Tools to be used whereas the practical part plays the most vital element of the whole idea. The main task is not to learn from textbooks but only empirically through experience during multinational lessons and from lessons based on the abilities gained throughout the whole process. Each partner meeting will be divided into a few stages: experimenting with the tools, gathering data, their analysis with the use of web 2.0 tools and presentation of these results in a number of forms including artistic expression. All the activities are complementary to schools' curricula.Students from partners countries will have a chance to experience the world from another perspective (being a part of an exchange program and sharing the life of their partners), break stereotypes and become more tolerant and open to differences. SOCIAL CONTEXTIn partner schools there are students with special needs and students that risk social exclusion. Some students’ families have not got florid finances, so this project will give them the possibility to improve their English, increase their interests and motivation, develop international understanding and cooperation and enlarging their cultural horizons. This project can also give our students the opportunity to compare their culture, customs and knowledge with peers living in other countries of Europe.OBJECTIVES:- Promote positive attitude towards school and education,- Encourage understanding about self-improvement especially within the process of self-education,- Raise awareness of critical age phenomenon,- Develop innovative strategies and methods in problem solving,- Encourage students to talk about their feelings and emotions,- Enable students to discover strategies of effective time management,- Provide students with a possibility to present their findings to European audience,- Study the educational practices of different countries,- Exchange best practices with the use of legal materials, - Develop students' and teachers' ICT skills, -Improve students' and teachers' competence of English,-Disseminate the results to the partners' local and national communities and to the Erasmus + community,- Versify the methods used during the lessons, - Creating a database with innovative ELT materials and interactive tools to be possible to download to everyone interested- Motivate students to strive for a higher level of education.NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:There are 5 partner schools and we plan 4 short-term exchanges, each for 16 coming students and 16 hosts, each school will provide 2 responsible teachers to accompany them. Students will be matched according to a set of criteria, one of them being the similar age group on the basis of a personal survey. The coordinators from all partner schools have experience in either taking part of European projects or applying or simply working with partners on international level. Indirectly entire schools will benefit from the project as well as local communities involved in activities at meetings and during promotional activities disseminating our results. Sharing the knowledge and experience will be boosted and diversified due to the combination of general schools and vocational ones, where students can learn from each other by mixing academic and practical subjects.

"The project was initiated to respond to the strong dependance of students on mobile phones that is often regarded as negative for their school education and to consider the postive aspects of their preference of using phone apps by offering them a challenge to create applications themselves. In this project students will acquire and improve their know-how in terms of developing mobile applications, a skill which they will use even after the school years, no matter what careers they may choose to follow. We want to make students break the barrier between passive consumption of mobile apps to the active usage of mobile development tools. The project addresses the age group of 15-18 year olds in our schools, who are old enough to process this type and amount of information and to use it creatively in order to develop apps. The students come from a variety of cultural backgrounds and a significant percentage of them are faced with and strive to overcome all kinds of obstacles - economic, cultural, financial etc. The participants will be chosen from this target group based on their digital skills, language skills, school results. The project also addresses teachers of IT who will thus improve their material base and ensure the sustainability of the project results. The aim of the project is to provide the necessary framework for teachers and students to work together, share ideas and good practices and learn how to develop mobile applications. The developed adds will include the most different topics and aspects depending on the different special focuses of the participating schools. In the technical schools they will focus on engineering, in the other schools they will focus on more general topics depending on the preferences of the students. By providing this framework, we intend to achieve a number of topic-related objectives as well as objectives related to the intercultural dialogue that the project presupposes: the students in the target group will become familiar with the requirements of mobile app development and will improve digital skills, many students will contribute to the creation of new mobile apps actively. All students participating in transnational meetings will also improve their knowledge of foreign cultures, they will improve their communication skills in English and other languages of the partners and they will also develop tolerance, mutual respect and intercultural understanding. All project team members and students will improve organisational, team work and data processing skills. The methodology of the project will contain five main stages:In the initiation stage we will identify the needs of the partners, in the panning stage we will work out an action plan, methodologies and resources. The implementation stage mainly includes the organisation of activities before, during and after the transnational events. The evaluation will take place thoughout the project and the finalisation stage will include accumulating the project results and finalising the dissimination process.Project results will include a coursebook entitled ""Mobile apps for schools"" that can be used by other teachers for developing apps, lesson plans for teaching about mobile phone apps, mobile apps developed by students, that will be uploaded on the project website and will be accessible for other students and teachers and the project website itself including all relevant information about the project, the project schools, the participating students, the project meetings, the project results, press reports etc. Intangible results will be the knowledge acquired by the students related to mobile app development, criteria for evaluating mobile apps, active involvement in the development of mobile apps, improved digital skills and better English language competence as well as tolerance, respect and understanding for other cultures."
