Students in all study fields and cycles can take part in a study period or traineeship abroad. Higher education teaching and administrative staff can take part in professional development activities abroad, as well as staff from the field of work in order to teach and train students or staff at higher education institutions.

This Mobility of Learners and Staff project aims to enhance internationalisation strategy through mobility of University students and staff between Program and EU countries. AGU's mobility objectives:-Giving AGU students and staff the opportunity to increase their international experience,dimension and gain new knowledge,skills and methods in internationally qualified HEIs-Increasing AGU’s presence on the international arena-Increasing AGU’s international development on campus with the presence of many international students and staff-Giving European students the opportunity to learn new knowledge, skills, methods and culture in AGU,a HEI with high quality facilities and staffWith these projects,1. AGU will increase attainment levels to provide the graduates and researchers Europe needs by:-Increasing the quality of students, researchers and academicians through mobility; by exposing them to different educational, social, and cultural environments-Increasing the diversity of AGU by attracting students, staff and faculty members from different cultures and social backgrounds-Complying with European teaching and diploma standards to ensure that we produce high quality graduates with internationally recognized certifications.-Increasing the attractiveness of AGU due to a combination of 100% English teaching and the promise of international mobility -Producing multilingual graduates able to export their technical knowledge to any market-Enabling AGU to score better in the national and international University rankings2. AGU will improve the quality and relevance of higher education by:-Bringing our research and curricula levels up to the standards of highly recognized European institutions (benefit from their knowledge and expertise)-Promoting and deliver employment related skills adapted to today’s corporate sector’s expectations through crosssectorial partnerships-Collaborating with research institutions to develop highly innovative and competitive technologies-Improving quality (knowledge, expertise, teaching methods…) of teaching staff through teaching exchanges-Providing students with access to knowledge without geographical barriers: collaboration with institutions in touch with today’s labour market and offer learning opportunities to facilitate equality of chances with other European graduates3. AGU will strengthen quality through mobility and cross-border cooperation by:-Adapting our academic system to European quality standards-Aligning our diploma and credit systems with that of European universities to eradicate barriers to mobility-Benefiting from future European network to make AGU a recognized institution outside of Turkey4. AGU will make the knowledge triangle work:This project enables AGU students to take advantage of international professional opportunities and AGU to build a European level network gathering the 3 corners of the knowledge triangle (HEI's, business and research)5. AGU will improve governance and funding:AGU’s participation in the program allows us to develop a network of partners outside of Turkey and to diversify our sources of funding, in order to decrease our dependency from the AGU foundation and therefore allows greater flexibility.AGU Erasmus Office is leaded by Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, Vice Coordinator and Project Assistant and supported by 3 staff of International Office. AGU signed 49 staff and 40 student mobility agreements according to ""quality exchange"" criteria such as ECTS, DS and rankings. Info days, orientation, live broadcast, breakfast, office sessions, non-formal learning methods, infopack and documentary are organized. Also Erasmus Office is organizing info sessions for High Schools, NGO's and Chamber of commerce on EU opportunities since we are also Eurodesk contact point. One of our strongest part is combining Youth and Erasmus. Youth projects and Eurodesk network support us to find internship places for our students. After mobilities, internship and study mobility evaluation meetings and questionaries were organized. With the results of questionnaires a scientific paper was written and it was submitted to international conference and accepted. Our Erasmus vice coordinator finished her master thesis on ""CULTURAL MATCH IN NORM CREATION:THE IMPACT OF ERASMUS+ ON EU ENTEGRATION PROCESS. Participant profile: 1rst, 2nd and 3rd cycle students and staff members with good English skills, Openmindedness, adaptability, intercultural mindset and motivation.AGU gives priority to disadvantaged students. As a State University, AGU gave utmost importance to gender balance, students with low income, geographically disadvantaged areas.13 students went for study mobility and 17 students went for internship.11 staff member went for training and teaching mobilities."

After mobilities, internship and study mobility evaluation meetings and questionaries were organized. With the results of questionnaires a scientific paper was written and it was submitted to international conference and accepted.Participant profile: 1rst, 2nd and 3rd cycle students and staff membersGood English skillsOpenmindedness, adaptability,intercultural mindset and motivation.AGU gives priority to disadvantaged students.
