In addition, the participants, whose destination was Portugal, received a face-to-face course in A Coruña, before departure. The rest of the participants took a language course in the language of the hosting country, through OLS.The 46 recent graduates, who participated in the programme, were supervised, from the beginning of their mobility, through tutors appointed for that purpose, both in their home towns and hosting countries. The follow up of the stays were carried out through email, phone calls and Skype. As regards as the learning outcomes, the selected VET technicians have acquired and consolidated new technical and scientific knowledge, new skills and attitudes that have allowed them to achieve a significant qualitative improvement of the key competences in their profession. In addition, young people have improved a series of key competences: maturity, social skills, communication, adaptability and flexibility for change, autonomy, confidence, security, initiative and innovation, among others. All the participants have received the recognition of the internship through the Europass Mobility Document, and a company’s certificate, issued by the host companies detailing the tasks developed by the participants, their training and duration.Regarding the long-term impact and benefits, this project means the consolidation of the Consortium institutional focus towards quality in the training of VET graduates of the city due to the professional competence acquired and the acquisition of level of a foreign language. It is also important because of the substantial increase of its employability when administering immediate information that relates the professional competences acquired with the needs of the companies, and for the update and innovation of the teaching of VET cycles in the city which enables to provide centers with a direct experience of the key competences demanded in Europe. For students, it means providing their professional competence with European added value, by incorporating the transnational component and the international recognition of their competences into their CVs by means of a European certificate such as the Europass.

In the opposite side, we find companies in the province demanding increasingly prepared young people, as a result of innovation in different sectors at the international level.101 young VET graduates from these schools, aged above 18, were offered the possibility of doing training for 6 months in a European company. 99 of those 101 mobilities were done. With regard to teachers and staff mobilities all of the 5 mobilities granted were done.International internships are not part of the FCT (training in work placement in Spain) but they mean an added value to the training in work placements previously done in companies in the province. Participants have done a linguistic training activity through the online tool OLS.The specific objectives of PRACTICUM DEPO 2016 have been: -Accelerate the participants’ transition from education to the labour market. -Facilitating the acquisition of professional experience at international levels. -Increase knowledge and innovative entrepreneurship in the participants. -Encourage the practice and improvement of a second language and obtain technical vocabulary of the participant’s professional sector. -Foster synergies between education and labour. -Develop skills and knowledge to improve their competencies and skills for any job, project or situation. -Implement the concept of European citizenship and awareness of the importance of international mobility to create generations who are free and respectful of other cultures and societies. Similarly, youth and teachers have consolidated new expertise in key skills in their speciality; they have achieved greater autonomy and a range of transferable skills that will benefit them in their work and personal future. Finally, it is important to add that PRACTICUM DEPO 2016 has generated more qualified staff, with integrity and, therefore, confident in their possibilities, promoting employment and contributing to the promotion and sustainability of the Erasmsus + programme. Finally, the 99 mobilities were distributed as follows:•1st mobility: 20 VET graduates to: Italy, United Kingdom, Portugal and Malta•2nd mobility: 4 VET graduates to: Italy, Portugal•3rd mobility: 3 VET graduates to: Ireland, Italy, Portugal•4th mobility: 42 VET graduates. As novelties we achieved: 1 mobility in Iceland (aquaculture), 3 in Finland (boiling and welding) y 1 in Netherlands (floristry and gardening). Besides, VET graduates in subaquatic and hyperbaric operations were sent for the first time (Malta and Italy). This mobility ended in March-April 2018, but 10 VET graduates enlarged their mobility until 31st May 2018.•5th mobility: 2 VET graduates to Italy•6th mobility: 21 VET graduates. In this mobility 1 VET graduate in Video Disc-Jockey was sent for the first time (Ireland) and 1 VET graduate in carpentry (Ireland).•7th mobility: 4 VET graduates to Italy, Portugal and Malta•8th mobility: 2 VET graduates to Italy and Portugal•9th mobility: 1 VET graduate to Ireland.

Materia Viva a.a.r. 2000,AAA Green SolutionsFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-ES01-KA102-048831Funder Contribution: 657,586 EURDiputación de Pontevedra applied for Erasmus + project PRACTICUM DEPO 2018 and created a consortium formed by 37 VET schools in order to boost the economy of the province. The budget granted was 658.657 €, and 657.993 € were declared. In the province there are unmotivated young people with difficulty in accessing the labour market, with little or no knowledge of a second language, with little knowledge and experience in IT and whose concerns are targeted to issues such as housing, employment and health. Companies in the province are also demanding more educated young people as a result of innovation in different sectors.105 internships were set for young VET graduates, aged above 18, during several months in a European firm. As it will be mentioned later, the number of mobilities has been reformulated and 80 (VET-PLONG and 1 VET-SHORT) mobilities of students were implemented. Regarding teachers and staff, 4 of the 15 mobilities granted have been executed and the preparatory visits have not been executed correctly. The number of mobilities carried out may seem to be below initial expectations, but the budget percentage has been more than 100% due to the adjustment between the number of mobilities and partners, the period of the internships and the contribution of own funds. The specific objectives have been: To speed up the transition from the educational system to the labour market; To facilitate the acquisition of experience at an international level; To boost entrepreneurship and innovative knowledge; To encourage the practice and improvement of a second language and the acquisition of professional vocabulary; To develop skills and knowledge to improve the needed skills in any job, project or situation; To implement the concept of European citizenship and to become aware of the importance of an international mobility to create free and respectful generations; To consolidate technical knowledge at key competences, greater autonomy and transversal competences; To generate more qualified, upright and confident personnel, sure of their possibilities, improving the labour insertion and contributing to the promotion and sustainability of the Erasmus + program. The 84 mobilities were distributed as follows:1st mobility: 8 students: Italy, Malta, Portugal2nd mobility: 2 students: Ireland3rd mobility: 1 student: Portugal4th mobility: 4 students: Italy, Ireland, Malta, Portugal (1 student did a short mobility due to a work contract)5th mobility: 7 students: Ireland, Italy, Portugal6th mobility: 49 students: Greece, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Malta7th mobility: 9 students: Italy, Ireland, Portugal, MaltaJob Shadowing: 4 mobility done: Finland, Ireland, PortugalMost of the internships were developed in ErasmusPro format. As it was explained at the initial briefing, the internships have not been part of the On The Job Training, but have meant an added value to the internships previously carried out in firms located in the province. The receiving countries of the students have been Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Malta and Greece. The mobilities were completed along with 4 mobilities VET-STA to Finland, Ireland and Portugal. Through the OLS the participants completed the corresponding linguistic training in English, Italian and Portuguese languages. The specific goals acquired within the project have been different from the initial ones and helped to improve the following aspects due to the ErasmusPro, and staff mobilities:-Decrease of the unemployment in the province of Pontevedra and A Coruña (places where the participants come from)-Improvement of the employability due to the specialization and practical training of the students-Knowledge of the European standard in different sectors and interest in the European labour market-Improvement of skills, knowledge, autonomy and self-perception, which greatly influences job search-Improvement of working methodologies of VET schools thanks to VPP and staff mobilities. Teachers have acquired and improved their skills.-Supporting the management capacity of the educational schools to carry out mobilities-Improvement of the internalization of the consortium and every VET school-Improvement of the linguistic competence of the participants in several languages-Creation of new contacts with international companies-Promotion of the inclusion of participants in the national and European labour market-The profiles of the participants have an added value as they have participated in an international experience and obtained Europass certification-Generation of more qualified, upright and self-confident staff, favouring labour insertion and will contributing to the promotion and sustainability of the Erasmus + program.

Even so, there is young people with no motivation for employment, victims of years full of negative employment situations, and therefore, with difficulty for access to labour market, low-skilled in a second language, ICT competences and priorities around basic issues such as education, housing, employment and health. Furthermore, we find companies demanding prepared young people, as a consequence of the competitiveness misbalance within the European common market that cannot satisfy companies' needs, feeding the EU skills gap.In order to overcome such skills gap of the province, with a strong rural character, the Diputación has formed a Consortium, with 33 schools of FP in Pontevedra, which will offer 102 young graduates in a cycle of VET of Middle Degree of One of these centres, the possibility of carrying out work practices, for 6 months, in a European company. Participants must return from their mobility within 12 months after obtaining their degree. The international practices will not be part of the FCT but will add value to the practices previously carried out in companies in the province. The participants will also carry out a formative linguistic activity through the online tool ""OLS"", made available for the Programme, for the following languages: English, Italian and Dutch. In the case of participants traveling to Finland, they will take an intensive course of Finnish, in a destination of 2 weeks duration. The project also includes mobility of 20 teachers who have shown their interest in observing practices in an EU country. Staff mobility will last 5 days for teachers traveling to Ireland, Italy, Germany and Malta, and 10 days for teachers going to Finland. The practices will consist of visiting training centres similar to the integrated centres of vocational training in Galicia, in order to learn new didactic methods used in the country of destination. The 33 entities that are part of the Consortium are:- IES Pedro Floriani- CEIFP A Xunqueira- Center of Agroforestal Education and Experimentation of Lourizán- Divino Maestro Training Center in Vigo- Association EFA A Cancela- IES A Guía- IES Frei Martín Sarmiento- IES Chan Do Monte- IES Chapela- IES Laxeiro- IES Marco de Camballón- IES Pintor Colmeiro- IES Ramón Cabanillas- IES Ramón Mª Aller Ulloa- IES Ricardo Mella- IES Salvaterra de Miño- IES Tomiño- IES Vilalonga (Sanxenxo)- Galician Institute of Education in Aquaculture (IGAFA)- IES Luis Seoane- IES Montecelo- CPR San Miguel- IES Politécnico de Vigo- IES A Xunqueira I- IES Plurilingüe Terra de Turonio- Instituto Politécnico Marítimo Pesqueiro do Atlántico in Vigo- Colegio Vigo- IES Johan Carballeira- IES Rodeira- CPR DANIEL CASTELAO- CIFR A Granxa- IES Ribeira de Louro- CAPD AtlánticoThe countries of destination and distribution of scholarships will be organized as follows: United Kingdom (23), Ireland (18), Italy (18), Malta (8), Portugal (8), Finland (4) and Netherlands (13). With regard to teachers, scholarships will be distributed as follows: Finland (5), Malta (5), Germany (5), Italy (5) and Ireland (5). 5 supervisors of Diputación de Pontevedra will complemente the mobility scheme of the project. Therefore, PRACTICUM DEPO 2017 has set out the following specific targets in order to achieve the overall goal:- Facilitate the acquisition of professional experience at international levels.- Increase innovative knowledge and entrepreneurship in the participants.- Encourage the practice and improvement of a second language and the obtaining of technical vocabulary of the professional sector of the participants.- Facilitate the transition from the educational system to the labour market of the participants.- Promote synergies between the educational and labour worlds- Develop skills and knowledge that improve their skills and abilities in front of any job, project or situation.- Implement the concept of European citizenship and become aware of the importance of international mobility to create free and respectful generations with other cultures or societiesIt is expected that with PRACTICUM DEPO 2017, young people and teachers will consolidate new technical knowledge in key competences of their specialty, gain greater autonomy and a series of transversal competences that will benefit them in their future work and personal.
