<< Objectives >>The international youth exchange project will be devoted to the broadly understood film art (from feature films, through social campaigns, to short video forms in social media). The main topic chosen by young people that connect all countries is the problem of intolerance and exclusion of various social groups - due to ethnic, low material status or political views. The problem of integration of people from marginalized environments, young people chosed as the most important and demanding continuous actions that are intended to raise awareness of the values of diversity that connect all European environments. As part of the project, young people intend to carry out a number of activities that use popularity and visual effectiveness to initiate positive social change, increase tolerance, and respect differences. During the project, young people will do detailed research on audiovisual content about the problem of intolerance, establishing contact with authors of various content (social advertising, preventive films, online spots), public authors, made their own social ads and online creations for the purposes of the developed applications and they took care of their implementation and dissemination.<< Activities >>An important element of the preparatory activities will be a series of activities carried out in parallel in all partner countries, thanks to which young people will acquire the knowledge, information and materials enabling them to conduct substantive discussions, presentations and analysis of methods of initiating and supporting positive social changes through audiovisual materials and broadly understood film art.During the project, young people will conduct detailed research on valuable audiovisual content on the problem of intolerance, establish contact with authors of specific content (social advertising, preventive films, online spots), determine the conditions of their use (licenses, copyright), develop based on the detailed materials obtained establishment of own, proprietary social campaigns, will create its own social ads and Internet creations for the needs of the developed campaigns and will deal with their implementation and dissemination. The effect of the project implementation will be the preparation by young people of 4 comprehensive social campaigns covering the development of precise assumptions for individual campaigns, the implementation of film spots dedicated to specific social issues, the creation of Internet creations and the implementation and dissemination of implemented activities. In total, 60 people from 4 countries (15 people from each country) will participate in the project:1) The Polish group consists of people presenting two main categories of interests: some of the participants want to gain organizational and logistical experience and shape skills related to independent conduct of cultural education activities through participation in the project. They are young culture animators who already have the first experience in implementing similar projects. This group will support other participants in organizational preparations, proposing practical solutions to facilitate the implementation of the project. The second group consists of participants of Polish film education programs implemented by FILMFORUM, who want to develop their technical and artistic film skills. They are students of art colleges and amateurish people realizing their passions through film art.2) Participants from France are primarily students of humanities at the University of Stendhal in Grenoble - young people with highly developed social and artistic sensitivity as well as theoretical knowledge about means of expression in art. Grenoble is a city of many cultural contrasts, which means that project participants on behalf of KINOGRAPHE are a very socially diverse group, uniting in a common, creative purpose, which will be the implementation of the project. This group also includes novice cultural animators who founded the KINOGRAPHE association to develop organizational skills and gain new experience in the field of cultural education for social inclusion.3) German group includes socially engaged young journalists - active citizens, for whom the film is a tool that allows them to promote valuable social attitudes, bring topics important to the European community into public debate, and engage citizens to participate in activities for society. For this group, the motivation to participate in the project is the implementation of passions associated with practicing civic journalism and the opportunity to improve skills related to film workshop.4) The Italian group consists of young people from poor areas of Sicily, characterized by difficult access to valuable offers in the field of costly film education. For young people from this region, contact and support of the thriving LABORATORIO DEI SOGNI organization is a unique opportunity to broaden horizons and participate in supra-local ventures that significantly affect their development and education. The activity of LABORATORIO DEI SOGNI means that the culturally undeveloped region gains new potential, an influx of ideas and youthful energy. Youth from this region requires support and activation, which in the future may break the negative stereotype about the inaction of Sicilian citizens. For these participants, the main motivation is participation in valuable international activities in the field of cultural education, which are difficult to access in their home region.<< Impact >>The implemented project will significantly affect the social and artistic development of participants. People participating in project activities will be able to acquire knowledge and skills and develop their own abilities and talents in a friendly, innovative and interesting way. Participants will gain motivation for active activities, creative thinking and creativity. The peer education program implemented under the project will assume not only the practical implementation of films, but also a parallel analysis of the progress and possible errors made by young people, as well as discussions and meetings monitoring individual stages of the implemented activities. The project will level the chances of young people from various European countries in accessing non-formal film education, its structure and implementation will be focused on raising the competence of young people in shaping independence in the implementation of planned activities and the ability to cooperate in an international, diverse group.Particular emphasis in the substantive program will be placed on familiarizing participants with social problems occurring in individual partner countries, on joint learning and gaining experience by young people from various European countries and strengthening of values such as civic activity, solidarity, democracy, tolerance and understanding for various groups social. The project will contribute to increasing the social and artistic awareness of participants and stimulating self-reflection on social and cultural issues related to modern Europe. The project will contribute to the creation of an international active group of young people participating in the project, building communication about the project and creating mutual exchange of ideas - there is a high probability that this group will strengthen mutual contacts so that it will also function after the end of the project. An extremely important aspect of the project implementation will also be the impact on indirect participants - the local community. Activities targeted at the local community will support the activation of the inhabitants of Radom - the city in which the project will be implemented (in particular young people) and interest in their activities in the field of social education and film culture. The applicant organization and partner organizations will exchange their experience and good practices, gain new competences, and become an interesting partner for other European organizations in the implementation of innovative projects. This is particularly important in the case of the French partner (KINOGRAPHE) - a young organization that was founded by young people as a result of the participation of young people from France in previously implemented activities in the field of peer non-formal education. Young people from France founded the KINOGRAPHE Association thanks to the knowledge and experience acquired during international youth exchanges carried out in 2016-2017.All organizations participating in the project will increase the group of their recipients, future collaborators and participants of activities and will be able to share their knowledge with other organizations undertaking activities in the field of non-formal education of youth. Organizations will expand their human resources potential, gaining experienced social educators in the form of project participants (who have extensive experience in the field of non-formal film education thanks to participation in the project). In the case of FILMFORUM and LABORATORIO DEI SOGNI, the implementation of the project will allow for the acquisition of new ideas, experiences and evaluation data that will contribute to the implementation of common goals related to the development and promotion of preventive programs using the film as a tool for social education of youth. The acquired experience will allow to effectively develop preventive and educational activities, influencing positive social changes in the local and supra-local environment of both organizations. FILMFORUM and LABORATORIO DEI SOGNI will gladly include partners from Germany and France in this type of activities, in particular counting on gaining knowledge and exchanging experience with a German organization that successfully implements similar local activities using educational programs on civic journalism. The effect of the project implementation will be the preparation by young people of 4 comprehensive social campaigns covering the development of precise assumptions for individual campaigns, the implementation of film spots dedicated to specific social issues, the creation of Internet creations and the implementation and dissemination of implemented activities.

"CINEMAFORUM is a project of international youth exchange conducted in November 2018 in Warsaw in a group of 45 young people from Poland, Italy and France. The concept of the project was development and implementation of the peer education program, based on modern audiovisual techniques using film as a tool for social education. The project's program was part of the non-formal education formula, using the film as a tool for free intercultural dialogue among young people from different countries. The concept of the undertaking consisted in organizing, by 45 young cinema enthusiasts from three European countries, a comprehensive film program of peer education aimed at indirect recipients - young people participating in the International Short Film Festival in Warsaw. The aim of the prepared educational activities was to shape the cultural competences of recipients in the scope of conscious perception of the film message through a cycle of non-formal, creative practical classes, lectures and discussions about film language, its structure, specificity, ways of using and methods of building a film narrative. About 120 young Varsovians taking active part in the educational program prepared by the peer participants were indirect recipients of the project. As part of the activities for indirect recipients, the project participants prepared, among others, film analysis workshops, meetings related to individual film professions (directing, acting, film script, production and organization of a film set, editing and post-production), as well as an open final ceremony during which were shown the short films produced as part of the project.Young French, Italians and Poles formed youth creative groups and realized 4 modern film materials, whose main character was the place where the exchange took place - Warsaw. Young people approached the subject very creatively - looking for interesting architecture or places with a rich historical tradition. Participants from France and Italy were particularly intrigued by the subject of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw - young people thoroughly analyzed the materials concerning the history of the Palace, explored the controversy surrounding its existence, made a series of unique interviews with visitors of this building and its employees. One of the groups used a very interesting artistic convention - with the eye of the camera, it captured the spontaneous behavior of people visiting the observation deck of the Palace, and then prepared its own dialogues for realized film materials, building a coherent film narrative. The participants also made a short film about searching for love in the city scenery and prepared an observational reportage presenting the city's climate and the most characteristic places in the Polish capital, seen from the perspective of representatives of other countries.Films made during the workshop part of the project were presented during the official screening at the KINOTEKA cinema in Warsaw and made available on the Internet via popular social media and websites of partner organizations. The participants also carried out activities related to the dissemination of films on social networks through their own environmental channels of information exchange. The implemented peer education program changed the educational concept, previously practiced during the International Short Film Forum: an educational concept based on the traditional model of ""mentor - student"", to a comprehensive model of peer education, in which each party is simultaneously a ""supplier"" of specialist knowledge, and its active recipient. An extremely valuable effect of the project was also a strong external impact - during the youth exchange was implemented a rich program of non-formal education film directed to the local community. The project in the opinion of partner organizations turned out to be an extremely successful undertaking. Young people had the opportunity to learn about cultural differences between countries participating in the project, develop skills of compatible cooperation in a diverse group and shape organizational competences. The results of the project were positively surprised by partner organizations. The program of non-formal peer education organized without direct participation of professional filmmakers and film educators, independently developed and conducted by young people acting solely on the basis of their own film passions, interests and positive, creative energy, proved to be an incomparably more effective method of film education than standard didactic programs. This is evidenced by both the level of satisfaction of indirect recipients, the enthusiasm of young people preparing the whole project and, above all, the quality of film materials and the didactic methods developed by the youth."
