<< Objectives >>In a digitalized century, where the Young people play a leading role there is a need for proper and secure management of media resources in order to avoid any form of abuse. This need to eliminate any kind of abuse such as cyber bullying, in recent years has grown enormously in relation to the psychology impact it has on the young people. The COVID-19 era has greatly increased the incidence of any form of violence, a phenomenon that seemed to be emerged during the quarantine period. During the same period, the internet literally emerged, not only as a way of entertainment, but also of survival. The combination of the two above, taking into account the long-term involvement of young people with the internet, highlighted the need for being more prepared and informed in relation to the mental health consequences, which, as expected, is related the phenomenon of cyberbullying. On the other hand, we have diagnosed the need of managing and eliminating the phenomenon of any type of abuse (cyber bullying also belongs to this category) which in recent years has taken on enormous proportions in relation to its psychological effects. The program therefore focuses on the following objectives:- Raising awareness to young people and informing them on the features and effects of cyber bullying.- Promoting teamwork and cooperation within the value of intercultural dialogue.-Exchanging cultural values and beliefs with the aim of creating new innovative methods that will have a broad impact on young people in Europe.-Develop the necessary skills and abilities to combat the psychological impact of cyber bullying (including stigmatization), in order to active and motivate young people and to promote the concept and importance of combating victimization across Europe.- Finding effective solutions in cases of victimization and understanding when and in which cases the person is the victim of cyberbullying.- Innovative educational tools aimed at influencing the target group in general, which is firstly represented by young people participating in the program, but secondly and through the dissemination of the program's products, we ensure a more general impact and awareness of the young people, both at national and European level. In correlation to the national priorities, the objectives of the project are:- To promote the active participation of young people in intercultural youth programs, with the aim of educating them on social issues and promoting the importance of active citizenship.- To empower their professional and personal skills.- To promote the participation of the youth in local actions, which will be organized within the framework of the project, with the ultimate goal of strengthening skills such as decision making and critical thinking.- To demonstrate values such as democracy, the active participation of citizens, and the importance of non-formal learning in the context of continuing professional and personal training of the individuals.<< Implementation >>There are 5 participating countries, and each organization will send 5 participants from each country (including Greece), so there will be a total of 30 people. In general, the methodology to be used is the non-formal learning process. This means that all activities have specific educational objectives in order to enhance participants' skills and abilities. The program in its implementation will be based on the empowerment of social skills such as awareness, active listening, and development of interpersonal relationships, cooperation, interculturality and more. All activities will be implemented in Porto Rafti in accommodation with spacious rooms with all the necessary logistical equipment for their implementation.More specifically, the tools to be used are the following:-Team bonding games (such as ice breaker exercises, energizers, etc.) for promoting the importance of team bonding and collaboration between the members of a team.-General discussion on the cyber bullying phenomenon through case studies, related videos, exercises aimed at providing information and discussion on cyber bullying, always adding the intercultural element, which he or she is required to find effective solutions to the issue, transferring values and beliefs from one's own cultural background.-Informing participants about the stigmatization of the victims and their psychological impacts on their mental health.-Exercises that focus on identifying personal values, beliefs and perspectives. In any case, the more the young people understand the subject and the more warmly they embrace it, the more we ensure their active participation and motivation for change. Also, youth with an innate tendency to influence and to be influenced by anything innovative and revolutionary in the sense of social change, then there is the possibility of disseminating and transmitting all this information into their own networking, influencing and securing in this way the sustainability of the Program’s outputs and tools.-Experiential workshops and exercises related to cyber bullying.-Participants from each country individually, during the intercultural night, will present good practices implemented in their own country with the aim of informing and raising awareness on cyber bullying as a psychosocial phenomenon. The aims is to exchange good practices and tools that could be exploited in other contexts, possibly creating new requirements and needs that could be reflected and addressed in a new Erasmus + Project. This ensures the participation of the participants before, during and after the end of the Program. Also, maximizes the possibility for new relevant Projects and future collaborations between the Partner associations/organizations.-Creation of the Awareness Campaign by all participants during the last days of the training Program. Relevant material and videos will be posted on all social media sites of participants and organizations involved.-Each team from each country will create a Cyber Bullying Information Handbook, which will be a detailed guide that will include all the Support Services provided to victims of cyberbullying. The Handbook will also be posted on all Social Media and sites, both of the participants and organizations involved.Overall, the common purpose of all these activities is to promote and disseminate Erasmus + Programs and actions, such as mobility and exchange of young people across Europe, and the benefits it offers not only to participants but also to youth generation, in general.<< Results >>The above program is expected to have the following impacts:-Providing information to young people about issues related to cyber bullying.-Demonstrate these basic concepts and educational tools to a wider audience of Youth and relevant stakeholders, associations or organizations, experts on the field of cyber bullying.- Improving the skills and abilities of the stakeholders through their active participation before, during and after the Program’s duration.-An exchange of good practices through multiculturalism and the promotion of teamwork and collaboration among the individuals who have different cultural backgrounds.-Partner organizations will be members of a consortium, which negotiates one of the most crucial psychosocial phenomena, giving them the opportunity to re-collaborate or even to begin their collaboration with other partners. In this way, we ensure that the networks of the organizations and the participants will transfer their knowledge and products to their familiar or working environments.- Through the implementation of the program and its subsequent dissemination, an increasing number of people will learn about the fields of action of the Erasmus + programs and will want to participate in relevant Youth Mobility or Education Projects. Expanding their Network, for both beneficiaries, the organizations and the youngsters, who participate to the Program’s implementation, we ensure possible future coordination for new Erasmus+ Projects addressed to similar psychosocial phenomena.-Active participation and mobility of young people in social issues with the ultimate goal of eliminating the phenomenon of cyber bullying.-Promotion of Adult Education and experiential learning and how this kind of education is one of the most prevalent non formal learning methods, precisely for the immediacy and reliability of its results.- Creating team spirit, cooperative solidarity, effective coordination and collaboration and respect for diversity.-Promotion of intercultural dialogue.-Creation of an educational training week dedicated to the training needs of the direct target group of the project -created by this target group themselves-.

The Network of Active Citizenship (I CAN) project aims to work on the concept of citizenship, leading volunteers to reflect about this concept, their role as citizens and wants to make them more active and participatory citizens. Thus, they are expected to become aware of the reality and their problems and develop actions that lead to positive changes. Through this experience, volunteers are expected to change their attitude and become more active and participatory citizens, and to make their voices heard, involving themselves in the political processes related to youth, but also to other areas, and as a consequence to become more involved in issues related to Europe and it future. This was a sixteen months volunteer project, starting in November 2017 and ending in February 2020, through which Associação Mais Cidadania (AMC) implemented a serie of long-term mobilities for young volunteers. Its central objectives were to encourage citizens, with a special focus on young people, to participate actively in the democratic life and social affairs of their communities, by involving a group of 6 volunteers and 8 organizations from 7 countries (Portugal , Spain, Slovenia, Greece, Italy, Georgia and Armenia). The project includes 6 volunteer mobilities (4 of young foreigners in Portugal and 2 of young Portuguese in European countries). These volunteers will include 3 young people with fewer opportunities, with geographical obstacles and at risk of social exclusion.Using local partnerships, we also aim to diversify the possibilities of involving volunteers in the local community, expanding their training and skills acquisition opportunities and also increasing the potential of volunteering as a tool for civic participation. We hope that the participants will be able to identify connections between local, regional and global reality, with a special focus on the awareness of inequalities and global education. In this way, we want to contribute to the construction of a European identity, where each one perceives his space in the community, in society and consequently in Europe itself as a common space of values, rights and duties. We will use a variety of working methodologies, all based on a clear communication between partners, establishing learning objectives and non-formal education as a horizontal learning method, transformative and focused on learners' needs.
