Speaking freely or in front of a large crowd represents for many young people a problem. Developing the public speaking competences of the young participants through continuous practice, social inclusion, integration and appreciation resolves the needs of the participants for healthy self-esteem, high performance and personal satisfaction. The objectives of this project are:- Establishing a proper setting for intercultural cooperation between young people and youth workers, - Creating the opportunity for young people and youth workers to practice and to improve their public speaking competences,- Organizing working groups in order to facilitate the development of participants`public speaking skills, - Developing the participants’ self-evaluation and self-appreciation competences,- Raising awareness about the importance of public speaking competences in participants` employability,- Empowering young people by supporting their entrepreneurial initiatives.The participants were motivated, assertive and enthusiastic young people and youth workers, interested in their personal development.From 22nd to 30th of September 2015, in Iasi, Romania, 26 young people and youth leaders from Romania, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Estonia, UK, participated in various activities and interacted in a non-formal setting, in order to contribute to the development of their public speaking skills. Through creative and non-formal activities (stress management, emotional management, art of speech exercises, relaxation techniques, the active listening workshop, the creative problem solving workshop, persuasion techniques, the emotional intelligence workshop, cultural visits, public speeches, debate sessions) the participants had the opportunity of an unique learning experience. The learning methods were non-formal: icebreakers, energizers, brainstorming, debates, team building exercises, role playing, simulation games, world café, living library.The main results of this training are: a virtual platform for future collaborations, a “best practices” guide in the field of public speaking and competent participants, with experience in public speaking.The project ensured a harmonious integration in society of the young people, positive outcomes for the individual (efficiency, constructive interactions) and for the local organizations (involvement, interest, employability, productivity, visibility and motivated volunteers).

Youth unemployment generates huge society strains.Representatives of six different nations participated in the program (42 youngster).With the project, initiated by young people, the aim of the exchange was to help youngsters to set goals, clarify their resources and find new ways to step into their adults life. Thorough the exchange they developed their competences and understand the local realities of they youngsters of Europe.Furthermore our aim was that these young people, using non-formal methods, get acquainted with other languages, cultures. During the project participants acquired competences and attitudes which help them to find a suitable job, become better employees and reach their own aims. With the new methods learned they will use in their lives and multiplicate their knowledge in their community, family and environment.

We had noticed that youngsters have become more inactive regarding their physical activity and more critic against the appearance of others. Besides the lack of movement, another major problem in our society, particularly in young people, is malnutrition which is resulting in an epidemic of obesity. Among the 19 EU Member States for which data are available, the proportion of adults (aged 18 years and over) who were considered to be overweight or obese varied in 2008 between 37.0 % and 56.7 % for women and between 51.0 % and 69.3 % for men. Added to this, lack of exercise links to lack of communication and raise of depression due to lonely way of life. Prevention of diseases is more efficient than the treatment and awareness increase on healthy lifestyle is one of the priority policy in the world. That is why we thought about a project that revolves around the idea of healthy lifestyle, because we know that is a first and necessary step towards our well-being, playing also an important role in the development of one's personality while influencing the development of the environment, local economy and society in general.Objectives:Our goals are for the participants to:- develop new healthy habits (in what concerns both eating and physical activities routine);- gain correct information about healthy food and healthy body;- increase awareness to the dangerous consequences smoking and consuming alcohol and/or drugs can have;- be able to apply the new information to their own case;- improve their social and cultural skills by engaging in direct interaction with people from the local community and also planing intercultural informal evenings;- improve their language skills;- be able to auto-evaluate their own learning process using the Youth Pass tool and being guided in their process by their leaders;- increase awareness to all programs dedicated to youth that the Erasmus + Programs offers.Number of participants: 24Profile of participants: All 4 participant countries will have a group of 5 youngsters and one group leader. The youngsters will be aged between 13-19 years old. All participants attending the project will do it because they are interested in the project's topics and activities. In the selection and profile of participants it will be important to find his/hers desire to learn and to spread the knowledge and what they have learned to other young people.Description of activities:The program includes activities such as:- morning workout each day;- games and energizers to get-to-know each other;- workshops of exchanging information about: healthy eating habits, diseases correlated to eating habits, and the dangerous consequences of habits like smoking, consuming alcohol or drugs on health;- group work and applying information gained in workshops in practical activities;- street interviews with local people and developing a common action plan of promoting our youth exchange ideas and methods inside the bigger event of Sea Days Festival;- reflection upon and evaluation of our learning process.Methodology used:We will use different methods like demonstrations, participatory techniques, group work, team work, interviews, supervised practical work, presentation of real cases, ""learning by doing"", open methods, Youth pass and methods of non-formal education. The application of ""learning by doing"" is a way of learning based on experiential and participatory experiences. Also, informal meetings such as the International Night will create a space between the participants for intercultural dialogue.Expected results: - knowledge about what a healthy lifestyle means- participants will be able to apply theoretical information acquired to their own personal daily routine- smash cultural barriers and prejudices about ""the other"" - raise participants' awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries;- to support and boost their sense of autonomy by giving them an important tasks Impact envisaged and long term benefits:Firstly we hope to influence the participants in order to become more open and to learn more about healthy lifestyles, that may benefit them in their everyday life, to learn new tools, concepts and know the realities in other countries.Participants will be more aware on activities of non-formal education and outdoor sport, health, nutrition and diet and know so much more about the Estonian people.Secondly, we know this project will have a powerful impact in our local community also, and it is expected to increase people's awareness about healthy habits, to have cultural exchanges with young people who participate in the project and increase their motivation to participate in the different activities offered in the future by the youth center, such as: Hearts Week, Wellness Camp, cooking classes, sport challenges and so on."

The topics of gender roles in society, stereotypes and LGBTQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex), raises problems that are incompatible with the respect for human rights, and the notion of a democratic society. With the project, initiated by young people, we aim to promote active civil engagement, social inclusion and solidarity, to fight against discrimination, to increase equal opportunities, conscious media use, the intercultural sensitivity of young people, to develop competencies, to raise awareness to non-formal and informal learning, to promote the mobility projects of the European Union, and thus increasing the labor market integration of these young people. Representatives of 7 countries with different cultures (5 person group + group leader) participated in the program.The topics was processed with non-formal methods. Thanks to the project the participants acquired skills that help them support equality, shared responsibility and justice. Their awareness about European citizenship increased, they became familiar with other languages, other cultures, and their transversal skills improve. They build the knowledge they acquired during the project into their personality, thus contributing to the emergence of a more tolerant and democratic society. They multiply the things they learnt among their own family, community and environment with the help of the tools they acquired during the project. The partner organizations as multipliers, multiply the experiences, contacts, information they gained during the project and pass them on to topical space, local communities. Due to the newly acquired relationships, experiences, and knowledge, they become capable of participate in newer and newer projects both as initiators and executors.
