Living in Handmade is not easy, but it is possible. Thanks to the Internet you can reach far away and extremely wealthy markets (America, Australia, United Arab Emirates) who appreciate handmade and buy with pleasure online. In addition to the economic aspect, handmade offers immense satisfaction: knowing that in the world there is someone who uses, wears, has in his life and appreciates what we have created with our hands brings immense joy. To make one's passion a job, in these times of crisis, is gold: we can no longer hope in the fixed place, we are forced to reinvent ourselves, so why not try it with what we love to do? With handmade we learn to re-evaluate and expand our horizons, becoming part of a vast community made up of people with our same interests and different backgrounds: a mix that serves to learn so professionally. Handmade is good for the mind because it forces us to study, update ourselves, get involved constantly and yes, even fail dramatically. But you are not alone, the community of crafter and maker is great, like all of Europe. Finally, handmade is often fair and sustainable (it is a world where there are no factories that pollute or where underpaid slaves work) and helps to change perspective on consumer goods (hence the use of recycled materials), which so they turn from disposable products to treasures to be preserved. - Background and context: Castellammare di Stabia, will be the background to our project, in which we will offer the opportunity to young participants to acquire ideas and teachings on the points mentioned above. Through manual workshops (held by http://www.vesuvianinn.com/fondazione-ras/) they will be able to approach the creation of handmade objects, exploring their market potential. These creations allow us to create a firm link with the territories where they were conceived, in our case the focus will be on the handling of clay to create typical artifacts and the creation of ancient fragrances with the ingredients of the Sorrento peninsula. -Aims: The Handmade has all the requirements (see description above) to help young people who present the profile of N.E.E.T. or unoccupied. The project aims to provide curiosity towards the manual arts, giving concrete ideas to transform the passion towards these in a work of an entrepreneurial nature. Manual creations infuse self-esteem and confidence towards one's own abilities, encouraging participants to support the need to undertake autonomous actions. Through the discovery of the manual arts, we can discover the perculiarities of all the countries involved, moving the teachings acquired during the activities towards them and impacting significantly on the partner associations, which they can apply, in the sensitive contexts in which they operate (the schools, young women's communities, contexts at risk of social exclusion such as those of migrants, etc.) the good practices learned during the project and create a dense network with local communities. - Description of the activities and methodologies used: Through comparison groups, practical workshops and testimonies of successful experiences, it will be possible to address the themes of the project in an inclusive way, enhancing the opportunities that a multicultural society can offer and making its roots an element on which to invest. - Number and profile of participants: The program is open to 30 young people (from 6 countries: Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, France, Estonia), aged between 18 and 25 who have an interest in the discovery / rediscovery of handmade objects and potential that these offer. In the selection phase, people with the profile of N.E.E.T or those who are unemployed will have the highest priority. In the respect of equal opportunities gender equity will be guaranteed. - Expected results: The expected results are those of getting participants to acquire basic notions and subsequently stimulate them in the realization of their own manuatti to be presented in a public event. In this way we will try to transmit their trust and self-esteem, as well as encouraging them to team up and integrate. In the long term we intend to involve young people in the organizational and operational phases of a handmade activity, encouraging their curiosity. The latter wants to be a vector of awareness towards the manufacturing trades of their country, so as to stimulate reflection on undertaking initiatives aimed at self-employment and advocating an emancipatory path. We want to share with the partners the project's teachings so that they can use them in the contexts in which they work for the local communities."

In this sense, it took time to present dynamically organizations and depth and to know the realities of the environments in which exchange projects will arise. On the other hand, and based on very practical and experiential activities that share and learn from each other, improve the capacities of participants to create working groups and develop youth exchanges in rural areas, paying particular attention to local impact and exploitations of available resources in those areas. For the process to be effective, we use a methodology based on non-formal education, active, participatory, experiential and dynamic and reinforcing a process group and personal. Results: Thanks to this activity participating organizations have improved our ability to work, especially internationally. During the development of the activity we worked side by side in building quality exchange projects for rural areas that advance the work of the partners. We have created new networks of trust for future projects, and now we have staff with better training and the ability to develop new international action. In addition, we have made reflected a number of materials available to others who want to work the theme: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0LZiyFo-BWnMlpfM0xmVWwtRDg&usp=sharing

They are disconnected and/or marginalized from nature, society, politics and economics. At the same time, it is the young generation who will have to address and adapt to the unfolding consequences in the future. What they need is empowerment and inspiration to craft meaningful responses. A better vision on our own personal and professional journey – where we are coming from and where we are headed, as well as accepting and claiming responseAbility for our own and societal development is called for. With this training course we create a space for building that responseAbility through reflection on our concerns and passions as well as becoming more conscious of our personal learning process. We believe that gaining a deeper understanding of who we are and what we can do for others is an empowering process which can lead to positive changes for the future of society. Moreover it is necessary that youth workers know how they can support young people in facing their own challenges and thereby continue to grow as a person. After the training, participants will be able to lead young people in their organisations and communities through a personal learning journey to craft and find powerful and meaningful responses to the sustainability challenges of the 21st century. The objectives are : • to explore the concepts of responseAbility, positive change and active hope • to explore acceptance, gratitude, hope and compassion in order to improve our abilities to develop our responses • to raise awareness of our identity through reflecting on our challenges, concerns, talents and passions • to encourage a learning mindset which realizes that everything is possible• to stimulate the creativity, vulnerability, confidence and resilience of the participants• to encourage and serve the participants in planning their learning process also after the training course and also implement with their target groups• to learn more about the Erasmus+ program and its actions, and Youth pass as a tool of recognition of the key competences. This training course will be based on non-formal and informal education with a self-directed learning approach. That means that the participants are responsible for their own learning and the facilitators provide activities and guide the participants through their own learning process. The training course will be characterised by highly participatory, interactive and experiential methods. The main direct dessimination will be a good action from every participants after he/she returned back home and put the things he/she learned in practise. The participant can enrich their environment, in particular their organisation, because these ‘good actions’ will be inspired by the needs which were mentioned by the partners before the application of the project. The good actions are one of the evaluation tools and will be a part of the final report. The youth workers also initiate a project which will be an investment in their own organisation. They look for cooperation with other organisations, represented during this TC by other participants. They are try to start an international project concerning a topic about sustainability.Already during the project the evaluation process will play an essential role in the learning process. Participants will meet everyday to discuss the progress of learning as well as group integration and group dynamics. There will also be a final evaluation of the project during the last day of training: besides a visible evaluation the participants will be asked to fill the questionnaire and evaluate the project, content, methods and trainers. The project will also be spread by publications, Facebook and other European networks.
