This project was submitted in February 2016 and received excellent scoring (84 points) but was placed on a reserve list due to lack of funding. We have now further improved it and resubmitting for October 2016 deadline. The project is composed of a series of three eight-day training courses to be held in three European regions: Eastern Europe (Tbilisi, Georgia, March 2017), South-East Europe (Tirana, Albania, May 2017) and the EU (Stroud, United Kingdom, July 2017). The main themes of the project are youth campaigning, active citizenship, creativity and theatre.Throughout all three courses, a non-formal education, participatory learning approach will be used, following principles of acting and being an active citizen, respecting individual knowledge and skills, enabling participants to co-facilitate the learning process, sharing creative ideas and information, using art and theatre to promote active European citizenship. The courses will be run by GTC’s expert team of theatre and youth work professionals and local experts from the UK, Georgia and Albania. All courses will also include site visits to local youth and cultural organisations. The project’s context/and origin are connected with GTC’s involvement in three regions: EU, South-East European countries and Eastern European and Caucasus Countries. We regularly implement projects on art and theatre in youth work in all three regions. Through this project, we would also like to raise awareness of active European citizenship issues among young people. Project will bring together 96 participants across three courses (32 per course). The objectives of the project are:- To train youth workers and youth leaders in using theatre tools and methods in promoting active citizenship through youth campaigning - To develop leadership and facilitation skills of youth workers- To exchange experience and good practice in active citizenship and youth campaigning tools and methods- To develop youth workers’ creativity and artistic skills- To increase the quality of European co-operation between youth organisations both within the Erasmus+ Programme as well as outside of itThis is a long-term, multi-measure project stretched over a year, and as such it will have a long-term impact on all partners in terms of increased capacity to work with theatre tools and to organise youth-led campaigns. It will also increase learners’ understanding of the Erasmus+/Youth Programme and lead to more international co-operation.

Prior to 1999 this industry simply did not exist. The perfect storm of improved internet speeds, the development of cloud computing technology, and the constant yearning for self-improvement have combined to feed this industry’s rapid growth. A simple Google search will unveil a plethora of reports and predictions, all estimating a marketplace growing in the billions. For youth organisations, this is a very good opportunity not only to connect with their target audiences but also to create courses which could lead to extra fundraising for the offline activities. The implementation is quite convenient for users; it is of relatively low cost, and there are few restrictions to taking part (only an internet connection and your own interest are required). All of the partners are very experienced on offline education provision, and at this stage, they consider to make some of the courses available through e-Learning platforms. Therefore, we have decided to have the following aims and objectives:- To create an opportunity to find good and reliable partners;- To understand what is needed to create e-Learning courses of good quality;- To create a solid network of contacts and partnerships;- To equip the youth leaders with insight into their role as coach and support;- To create ideas on the future cooperation in eLearning;- To build capacities of participating organisations and improve the quality of non-formal education they provide;- To promote Erasmus+ Programme and its opportunities for youth and organisations.<< Activities >>“Digital Youth World"" is a 5 days contact making seminar (CMS) with the participation of 8 partner organisations from Programme and Eastern Partnership countries, which will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia during 24-30th of June, 2019, during which representatives of youth organisations and youth will gather to discuss the future of their work - E-learning, and the group will not only discover opportunities how to organise the E-learning in their organisations, but also create a partnership and find partners for their next steps - the creation of E-learning programmes and projects. It will bring together 24 participants - youth workers, presidents of organizations, project managers, social workers, volunteers and/or representatives of partner institutions from Programme (Estonia, Latvia, UK, Serbia) and Eastern Partnership Countries (Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine).<< Impact >>We expect the impact on participants to primarily include; a better overall knowledge and understanding of eLearning, communication tools and media and its benefits and the acquiring of tools and skills which will be of help when working with young people. We expect to tighten awareness of good practice in the running of any projects under the Erasmus+ framework as well as improved competencies and knowledge of competencies in the non-formal education scenario. Last but not least, we expect an increased knowledge on the Erasmus Plus Programme, the youth field in general and the setting up of projects under this structure. We expect the impact on communities and other (indirect users) to include; benefits reaped through the acquired knowledge and learned tools of the partner organisations through their representatives on the CMS, which can be transferred to the other members in the organisation through different seminars or activities they might carry out when they get home. We hope to make an impact on the work the partner organisations do with young people and their respective communities. The impact on the European level will depend on the cooperation between partner organisations and future campaigns and international projects, we expect participants to use gained skills and knowledge and follow up on the project by multiplying the possible resources, as people, time, money, knowledge etc in order to make better, larger impact project in youth work and social entrepreneurship."

Arts have been a major catalyst for change in society around the world and it’s a method known for the very good results/feedback it provides by stimulating self-reflection, development of oneself and also by overcoming xenophobia, prejudices and stereotypes. The main problems the project responds to are: low awareness on the migration crisis happening in Europe as well as the prejudice and discrimination towards migrants and refugees linking them to violent extremists and therefore develops more fear and xenophobia, a vicious circle we must break in Europe. The main aim of this project is:- To raise young people's awareness/understanding on migration crisis in Europe, offering the opportunity to create strong networks and develop a sense of European citizenship and values, thereby promoting non-formal learning and cooperation in the field of youth. The objectives of the project are:-To foster positive interaction, active participation, self-reflection and personal growth of young people from different social backgrounds of EU by involving them in Youth Exchange that develop their key competences and address issues relevant for them, conducting joint vicarious activities, with holistic experiences and reflections.-To develop positive attitudes towards arts and its expressions, encouraging experimentation and involvement, stimulating creativity and imagination.-To raise awareness on migration panorama and its difficulties within participants’ societies and within EU using artistic products on the youth exchange: Theater play, an exhibition and a video on migration.-To promote diversity, intercultural dialogue and intercultural learning, developing the sense of unity through diversity within EU, thereby promoting social inclusion- To promote the Erasmus+ programme, EU values and participation in future activities through the use of non-formal education while promoting its recognition through the YouthPass certificate.<< Activities >>Main activities to be implemented if the project gets approved are:- Preparation phase – Partner organizations will select participants and group leaders and prepare them for the exchange, information will be given about travel, technicalities and project topic overall. Meanwhile, we, the hosting organization will take care about proper accommodation, materials and travel information inside the country. Generally, taking care of project management as well as the coordination of communication among partners, participants and group leaders; Group leader will have a solid preparation to run the sessions with their teams;- Implementation phase - Realized in the technical sense by the host organization. Running of the session activities is done by group leaders of each country from partner organizations with their teams and the support of staff and volunteers from hosting organization. All partners will be included in visibility plan undertaken before, during and after the youth exchange.- Dissemination and follow-up phase – Partners will assess and evaluate project in detail, create and implement local activities according to what they have learned in the youth exchange. It is expected that all partners run activities for other members inside the organization so they can start working on local and national projects that will increase impact as well as create multiplying effect, all considering the mutual agreements made before and during the project.- Reporting phase - all partner organizations will collaborate and contribute to reporting phase of the project. Host organization will be in charge of completing it with all the suggestions and support of partners. The youth exchange will start with a welcome evening in the day of arrival. The next day, day 2, ice-breaking games and activities that will on the process of the participants getting-to-know each other and foster them to better adapt in the multicultural reality they will be in. On that same day in the afternoon, the rules of the project will be set, hopes/fears/expectations will be identified and youthpass will be presented. During the morning of day 2 participants will start working about diversity before entering the topic of migration that they will work on until the last day. Every day will end with a reflection moment and every night will include interactive actives to promote connection as well as learning to participants. The sessions will be organized in the form of exercises that make the participants learn from their own experience and their peers’. The use of arts in almost every session will promote a safe and creative way of expression for the best possible results and integration of each participant in the project. The project will promote and be focused at all times on teamwork, with a solid reflection time for each participant.Sessions will be tailored carefully in combination input, interactive dynamics, artistic tools for empowerment of youngsters mainly with fewer opportunities, sharing of each other’s experience and space for co-creation. We will follow and address all of the important elements of non-formal learning them being interaction, collaboration and cooperation rather than competition, approaching experiences of participants, using flexibility for the needs of the group, following the group dynamics and process of learning considering the holistic approach, among others. Participants will have the chance to work in small groups, as well as with the group as a whole. Working in groups with people from different countries and cultures will help participants to learn how to see the differences among them all as an advantage and how to respect individuals of different opinions connected through the same European values. During intercultural night every country will have the chance present their country, tradition including traditional food, costumes and dances. The level of participants’ participation, involvement, satisfaction and cooperation will be addressed for continuous improvement of the exchange.Regarding the single activities of the planned timetable, all the participants will be involved in each of them with the partners and the group leader for their full participation. Each and every partner will be responsible for preparation, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination/follow-up. Participants of the hosting country will contribute the same way as every participant in every activity with the national team leader and will support the hosting organization in some technicalities to involve them in the project overall and to involve them in future actions in shaping society for the best.<< Impact >>At local level the project will raise awareness to local community about Erasmus+ programme and to the topic of migration which one of the main goals of this youth exchange as we found in the previous surveys it was something that our local communities needed to learn about. By promoting and adopting the EU principles and values with so many and multiple cultures we will be encouraging social inclusion and positive interaction in the local communities who might have had some negative stigma towards foreigners and later on to migration itself. Therefore, the project will play a great impact on the local communities that will develop a positive attitude towards the multicultural and diverse Europe we have today and foster positive feelings of inclusion, embracing diversity as something that pushes our society forward, and not backwards. It will also show the benefits of non-formal learning and the Youthpass key competences. Youth with fewer opportunities will develop feeling of inclusion, promoting their integration in societies they live in and fostering their active participation to seek out similar methods for their personal growth. The use of art as an approach to migration will promote creativity as a keystone on how to address today’s biggest issues in societies and it will have a great impact on the youth sector of the local communities as art is a very appealing method that engages youth. Therefore, we will have positive, engaged and encouraged youngsters looking forward to changing themselves and change society as they see how something as simples as art and one’s creativity can make such change and have so much impact as they look at participants and participants’ developed work. All of these impacts will happen mainly during the final presentation which will involve a large number of people from local community as well as the participants from our country that will return to their communities and be promoters of the results of this youth exchange together with the dissemination actions they will take on.At regional level the project will provide great impact in specific communities and NGO’s working directly with the youth sector, mainly with fewer opportunities. This will be possible as their representatives will be attending the final presentation of day 7 and also the roundtable with participants. Their involvement in these activities will raise their awareness more about migration and the opportunities of Erasmus+ programme. They will also collect new tools and methods to use in their work with the youth sector, mainly the use of arts. These representatives will also be promoters of these results and these methods and most importantly the topic of migration and its issues which we intend to spread as much as possible within and after the project. At national level, the youth exchange will have a big impact among public and private entities, municipalities and federations of organizations. We have chosen carefully who to attend our final presentation and our roundtable. We chose entities with a great network over the country and therefore capable of spreading the results of our project at national levels effectively. This will enable the results to reach more communities around the country and more NGO’s with this specific kind of work and it will encourage all of them to develop similar work in their local communities or regions over the country. Erasmus+ programme will be therefore extensively promoted as well as well non-formal education, youthpass and its key competences. The multicultural environment in which these results were achieve will also promote each country’s national identity while developing European identities, union and values. At a European level the project will promote migration, its issues and the crisis happening in Europe, social inclusion and intercultural mobility. The European level will be the extension of the local/regional/national effects to Europe by the hands of participants, NGO’s involved, and the entities they work with. One criteria for choosing partners was also their capability of spreading the results of the project within their channels of communication but also their network’s capability of sharing the results among their country. Therefore, the results will be spread among partner countries and will provide great impact in their local communities, in their local/regional/national organizations and among national entities and federations. In terms of numbers the project will have a direct impact of 3500-5000 people considering that each partner works directly with an average 500-1000 young people in their communities and through their regular activities. In terms of indirect impact, we will reach a minimum of 50000 to 10000 people considering that each partner has average 5000 to 10000 people following their media and social network channels and also considering the heavy dissemination activities which will boost these channels a lot.
