To tackle environmental threats is an urgent need for our society, confirmed also by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which need to be achieved by 2030. This process of change requires knowledge, skills and the will to convert current socio-economic models into more sustainable ones; all of these components, however, are not yet developed in young people. In Italy, only 17% of young people under 27 know the 17 goals of sustainable development, and for 6 of them out of 10, it will be up to future generations to achieve these goals. With these needs in mind, CSA has decided to build a strategic partnership for the exchange of good practices in environmental education and eco-compatibility of human activities. It will be composed of 4 European partners, based in Germany, Hungary, Spain and Italy, and 1 Israeli partner, a world leader in saving natural spaces and educating young people in active initiatives for nature. CSA has privileged a cross-sectoral approach, and chosen to involve partners specialized in different fields, from youth training (CSA) to sustainable urban development (GARAPEN), from industrial production and circular economy (ITALCAM) to school education (KÖZGAZDASÁGI POLITECHNIKUM ), from technological innovation to youth activism (SPNI). 18 participants aged between 18 and 60 will be selected, among people committed to youth work or to projects aimed at supporting young people in sustainable development. Particular attention will be dedicated to include 5 participants with fewer opportunities. The project will be for them a precious opportunity to overcome economic, social, cultural or geographical barriers. All participants will take part in the on-site activities of the project, in the online sessions for sharing of materials and in 4 joint training events in each European partner country.Non-formal methods will be preferred to share good practices, based on experiential and ""learning by doing"".Thanks to meetings with researchers, entrepreneurs, local development authorities, students, etc., the participants will be able to improve their role as guides and facilitators, able to produce knowledge and correct information and, at the same time, to carry out a 'pedagogical' function, helping adults of tomorrow to adopt eco-friendly behaviours.Mobility periods will represent a ""creative"" moment, in which participatory techniques will be adopted, such as Future Workshops, World Cafes, Brainstorming, Storytelling, Debriefing, Laboratories, which will be replicated by each participant in their own countries, in activities involving young people.A platform (RESourCE) will also be created; it will be a virtual space where materials, success stories, events, laboratories, videos of outdoor activities will converge. It will be open not only to partner organizations and young people, but also to all those subject interested in developing eco-sustainability initiatives (public bodies, schools and universities, youth associations, companies).During the entire duration of the project, the contents and results of the project will be disseminated, both through ICT channels and through events in schools, youth centres, public bodies, companies, trade associations etcThanks to the support of local authorities, private institutes, environmental bodies, professionals, both local and national , and through the online platform, the project will continue to support itself and to produce its positive impact even after the formal closure of the European funding."
