    The aim of the partnership is to design and develop a Innovative Multimedia Platform for the Presentation of Professional Qualifications (SHOW-VET) and to apply the platform in vocational education and training in the field of agricultural sciences in the period of 24 months. Using innovative solutions applied on the platform, we will present in a novel way selected professional qualifications, taking into account their diversity and the necessary methods of teaching and verification of knowledge during educational work. The introduction of new methods and tools for vocational education will enable practitioners, instructors and students to cooperate in practice, in practice more effective and practical than conventional, and more expressive and efficient than the traditional application of technology in teaching. Direct participants will be:
- Schools educating agricultural technicians, as well as interested in cooperation of a vocational education institution with a similar or related profile;
- Agricultural companies interested in the appropriate preparation of future employees for work in agricultural production;
- Other education and training establishments;
The project provides for:
1. Development of a methodology for presenting Agricultural Qualifications, taking into account their diversity and the necessary methods of teaching and verification of knowledge during educational work,
2. Designing the SHOW-VET system from the functional efficiency side enabling the presentation of the scope of Qualifications and teaching materials necessary to join the process of acquiring qualifications in an accredited entity with on-line access on the website.
3. The development of the SHOW-VET system using the methods of implementing final products through the phase of solution planning, testing and implementation of the final product,
4. Designing the usability model with the simultaneous implementation on the SHOW-VET platform of selected Professional Qualifications by the Applicant and Partners of the project
5. Applications of SHOW-VET in teaching in the field of agriculture,
The methods of work adopted in the implementation of the project and cooperation undertaken as part of the strategic partnership in this area include:
- task work - the aim of which is to develop teaching materials for the interactive educational module; - conceptual work - the purpose of which is to develop the concept of the functionality of the IT tool;
- developing solutions - building an IT system SHOW-VET with simultaneous verification of the assumptions and functionalities of the system;
- implementation phase - providing an internet platform for entities interested in improving professional qualifications.
In the first stage, the task will be clarified and the concept of functionality and possibilities of using the IT system will be determined. The project will then be developed in a form useful for practical use, taking into account the expectations of end users. The model set of assumptions and description of the software structure will be complete only when information about the expected and possible behavior of all elements of the module and their relationship in the learning processes is attached. The result will be the creation of a uniform system model playing the most important role in achieving the project's goal. The concept of the IT system for the purposes of acquiring new professional qualifications will be based on the created interactive cognitive module, in which the knowledge acquisition strategy promotes active forms of presentation through attractive and friendly forms of visualization, instead of the classic textual description of a given qualification and processes that make it known and assimilated. Thanks to these solutions, it will be possible, for example, to make the educational program more attractive, improve the work of didactic units, improve the quality of education, raise motivation to learn and work, and support human capital that goes to enterprises using similar solutions in economic practice and agricultural production processes. The potential long-term benefits of such a project are the possibility of further cooperation and exchange of experience, knowledge and good practices. It is also exploring practical solutions in education, raising professional qualifications, establishing contacts and developing or transferring innovation.

    The European Green Deal, underpinned by a new Sustainable Europe Investment Plan, must deliver significant and rapid reductions of greenhouse gases by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2050, while also curtailing the loss of biodiversity and cutting pollution from plastics, particulate matter, toxic wastes, and other sources. This transition must address the environmental objectives laid out in the SDGs, but it must also promote economic development and be fair.Partners of this project agreed that youth in general, youth leaders, workers and representatives of civil society have to play an important role in European Green Deal implementation and their potential has to be strengthened. That is how idea of Strategic Partnership ‘Urban Garden 2.0’ between the youth organisations from Hungary, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands and Sweden was born. Analyse of scientific literature and political documents show us importance of the topic but analyse of practical materials and work experience of youth workers identifies lack of systemic approach for SDG's development. Real life youth protest and actions shows that youth are not enough empowered to work for sustainable our future.The project’s specific aims are:- to raise awareness about youth urban gardening and environmental challenges and climate-change;- to develop competences needed for a sustainable approach to life among youth;- to develop methodology for acquiring urban gardening skills;- to test innovative practice from the project’s countries by implementing them in the base of the project ‘’green platform’’;- to develop a youth urban gardening platform that meet current needs of youth, youth workers and youth leaders (e.g. save resources, grow green, opt for sustainable food and mobility choices);- to strengthen young people's sense of initiative, notably in the social field and to support their communities giving instrument to start a new step from Protest to Action.Main participants of the project activities will be youth members of the partners' organisations, youth workers and leaders, volunteers who work with youth on daily base and use non-formal education methods, who are active in the topics of the project as well youth with migrant/refugee background (Sweden and Netherlands). Age 18-29 yo. Approx. number – 160 persons.Project’s elements: 1. Three management meetings: a kick-off meeting – on-line, a mid-term meeting in Hungary, an evaluation meeting – on-line.2. "Within the framework of the project ""Professional farmers as a future of modern agribusiness"", two vocational mobility projects in Greece were carried out, with 42 people - 40 learners and 2 teachers. For 1. vocational mobility ̨ within the period of 06.03 - 31.03.2017 20 learners from the Agricultural School in Cudzynowice were educated in the field of agribusiness techniques. Another group - 20 learners of agricultural techniques, went to mobility in 20.04 - 15.05.2017 from the Agricultural School in Smolajny.Both mobilities were preceded by information meetings conducted in schools. At the meetings where we provided information about the project and the recruitment requirements and the rules for participation in the project, we left the application forms for learners willing to participate. According to the recruitment criteria in the application, the Recruitment Commission selected the learners best suited to the recruitment criteria. Learners who have been qualified for mobility participated in preparatory english language courses, as well as in cultural and pedagogical course. With all participants and with legal guardians in case of minors we have signed contracts and its attachments. Before the internships, we organized organizational meetings for young people and their carers. All participants received promotional material in the form of promo T-shirts that they wore during the internship. The on-site training program was implemented in accordance with the assumptions contained in the application. The Greek partner provided a very high level of practice and the students gained and raised their skills and qualifications in line with our expectations. In addition, the Greek partner organized a cultural program. Practices were monitored by the Polish and Greek sides. In addition, the level of knowledge gained from linguistic preparation was checked by the testers and the questionnaire surveying the level of satisfaction was conducted. Cooperation with the participating schools and the Greek partner was throughout the duration of the project and proceeded at a very high level. After the return of the learners from the internships the ceremony of giving certificates of participation were organized.The internship was carried out on the basis of the agreed program. According to the assumptions of the project learners gained specific theoretical knowledge, practical skills and new professional skills, but also personal and cultural. The courses on agriculture (cultivation and farming) allowed learners to acquire specialized and practical knowledge and specific skills in this field that can be transferred and implemented on local markets, thereby contributing to the modernization of the farming practices of the regions in which the participants come from. Understanding the principles of functioning of foreign agribusiness and agri-food businesses has contributed to educating learners in entrepreneurial attitudes. The acquisition of new skills by the participants has contributed to raising the professional qualifications of young farmers in our country, which will increase the pace of modernization and increase the competitiveness of local farms, which is the most common source of subsistence for the inhabitants of the regions where the learners come from. Participants in the project learned in practice impart their knowledge to colleagues, families and local communities, contributing to the popularization of modern agriculture.Participants learned among others:- Plan and carry out cultivation treatments of selected plants: kiwi, olives, pomegranates, eggplants, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, lupins)- Operate machinery and equipment for cultivation, fertilization and plant care,- Apply the methods of ecological crops,- Collect, chirp and care the plants,- Prepare, preserve and store animal feeds for sheep, cattle, pigs,- pPrepare documentation related to the sale of plants and animals,- Use industry-specific English.We hope that the participants will be more effective in making decisions about their future because they have gained more confidence and, from a European perspective, become more aware Europeans, even more ready to co-create a common and tolerant Europe."

    "A pandemic is not just a medical phenomenon; it affects individuals and society and causes disruption, anxiety, stress, stigma, and xenophobia. The behaviour of an individual as a unit of society or a community has changed as had its effect on the dynamics of every individual in Europe and beyond. As more and more people are forced to stay home in self-isolation to prevent further flow of the COVID-19 governments must take the necessary measures to provide mental health support as prescribed by experts.In light of these exceptional circumstances, the project takes up the challenge to support society by putting creative balcony gardening as its focal point, to support innovation in education and provide opportunities for the personal, socio-educational, and professional development of people in Europe.Partners of this project agreed that young adults, in general, play an essential role in Europe’s civil society, and they are the most affected by the harmful effects of this pandemic. Balcony gardening has the potential to increase the target groups’ health and wellbeing effectively. It is suitable for boosting self-esteem, good for the hearth, reduces stress, can make people happy precisely what human needs during the restrictions as our daily routines have changed.Gardening in the Age of Coronavirus - The Balcony GardensWith as much as one-quarter of the world’s population currently in coronavirus lockdown now is the time to use your time and make a balcony garden to keep safe and healthy too. Scientific evidence shows how gardening and being in a garden will help to keep you well.1.Gardens provide a place for experiencing nature which is proven to benefit mental health, cognitive functioning, and emotional wellbeing.2.Gardening reduces depression, anxiety, obesity and heart disease as well as increasing life satisfaction, quality of life, and sense of community.3.Gardens are essential to supporting recovery from illness, and merely looking at gardens can reduce stress, blood pressure, and muscle tension.Using plants to brighten up the terraces are not their only function, plants can be used in an innovative and creative way and can have useful purposes (ex. to use amber as a curtain to darken the rooms or to use cactus fields against pigeons). The creative usage of greens is not well known or used in urban environments. As a prove, it is enough to walk the cities and look for balconies- max. 1 out of 10 terraces have flowers, but it is very rare to see plants as useful decorative items. The coronavirus lockdown provides the time and opportunity to create the garden that we always wanted, or we didn’t know we want, producing a sense of price and of course, pleasure for adults and their households. Our objective is to promote balcony gardening among adults in order to obtain the following benefits for them on a personal level and for the local communities:- to reduce elevated levels of adverse mental health conditions, substance use, and suicidal ideation reported by adults- to raise awareness of balcony gardening, environmental challenges and climate/change- to develop competencies needed for a sustainable approach to life- to develop methodologies for acquiring balcony gardening skills- to test innovative practices from the project's countries by implementing them in the base of the projects ""green platform""Project’s elements:1. Three management meetings: a kick-off meeting – on-line, a mid-term meeting in Hungary, an evaluation meeting in Slovakia.2. Development of two intellectual outputs:1) Balcony Gardening Creative Tutorial Videos2) Balcony Gardening E-learning Platform3. Eight multiplier events (in Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Lithuania, Poland).CABBAGE the Balcony gardening project, which has gardening as its axis of activation for young adults who are living in an urban environment, where the lack of green areas is a well-known issue.Our project is a community-building movement based on mutual communication and commonly defined aims by European partnering organizations. The priority of our project is to catalyze development skills and help young adults to achieve new competencies and skills which will boost creativity and support development through urban balcony gardening."
