    Our project 2017-1-HR01-KA107-034948 is an Erasmus+ KA1, International Credit Mobility project. Its objective is to provide mobility opportunities for students and staff at the University of Split between Programme and Partner Countries: Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Israel, Indonesia, USA, Serbia and Chile. Students reach the objectives of mobility: studying in an international environment, broadening horizons, acquiring new knowledge, skills and cosmopolitan spirit. Teaching staff enrich their professional background and portfolio; acquire new knowledge, skills and competences that could help them improve their teaching approach and technique, as well as make new contacts in their professional world. Administrative staff attend structured staff training weeks and/or job shadowing scheme in order to further develop their knowledge, skills and competences required for their daily routines at work, especially if those routines concern administration of EU funded projects, outgoing and incoming mobility administration and procedures. Project lasted for 26 months. From 1 June 2017 to 31 July 2019; 81 individuals benefited from this opportunity and spent a mobility period abroad. Our partner institutions are: Macquarie University (Australia), University of Mostar, University of Sarajevo and University of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), University of Montenegro (Montenegro), ADA University (Azerbaijan), The Academic College at Wingate (Israel), University of Dian Nuswantoro (Indonesia), The Pennsylvania State University (USA), University of Belgrade, University of Niš and University of Novi Sad (Serbia) and University of Magallanes (Chile). There were 9 incoming and 6 outgoing student mobilities for studies, 15 incoming and 18 outgoing teaching staff mobilities and 15 incoming and 18 outgoing mobilities for training.Student mobility for studies had an average duration of almost 5 months (4 full months and 23 days). We hosted students from Bosnia and Herzegovina (2 students), Serbia (1 student) from Montenegro (1 student), from Indonesia (2 students), from Azerbaijan (2 students) and from United States of America (1 student). We sent from University of Split to Partner University of Montenegro 1 student, to Partner University of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2 students, to Partner University Azerbaijan 2 students and to Partner University Serbia 1 student. Staff mobility for teaching had an average duration of 12 days. There were in total 33 teaching staff mobilities (15 incoming and 18 outgoing): 2 mobilities with the Partner Country Australia, 6 mobilities with the Partner Country Azerbaijan, 5 mobilities with the Partner Country Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2 mobilities with the Partner Country Chile, 4 mobilities with the Partner Country Indonesia, 7 mobilities with the Partner Country Israel, 3 mobilities with the Partner Country Montenegro, 3 mobilities with the Partner Country Serbia, 1 mobility with the Partner Country United States of America.Staff mobility for training had an average duration of 12 days. There were in total 33 staff training mobilities (15 incoming and 18 outgoing): 6 mobilities with the Partner Country Azerbaijan, 5 mobilities with the Partner Country Bosnia and Herzegovina, 4 mobilities with the Partner Country Indonesia, 10 mobilities with the Partner Country Israel, 2 mobilities with the Partner Country Montenegro, 2 mobilities with the Partner Country Serbia, 4 mobilities with the Partner Country United States of America.Majority of students and staff reported improvement in their competences after participating in the mobility. Overall satisfaction of participants, both outbound and inbound, with their mobility experience is almost 100%. Results of our project are visible across the University of Split and wider. Mobile participants spread the word of the benefits of mobility and encourage their friends, colleagues and co-workers to apply. Information and dissemination activities organised by IRO tend to reach the entire academic community and offer reliable partner for mobility preparation, implementation and reporting.Impact of results is visible in the intensification of international cooperation, strengthening of social dimension of international exchanges, strengthening of international exchanges, strengthening of international partner network and development of professional scientific and teaching skills with sustainable impact on long-term cooperation activities.Another impact is that UNIST is becoming very attractive to foreign students, teaching and non-teaching staff. Long-term benefits for our institution arising from this project are raising the awareness of the academic community on the importance of opening towards international activities, mobility and projects; accepting and living the fact that mobility can improve the quality of studying, teaching, learning and working at all levels.

    "<< Background >>University of Split, Faculty of Economics, through its Center for lifelong learning and adult education, is strongly involved and highly committed to developing adult education – both formal and informal.This project was intended to additionally contribute to the development of lifelong education programs in a wide spectrum - from the design of educational programs, teaching methods, to the overall management of this area of ​​activity.During 2017-18 we realized, through the project 2017-1-HR01-KA104-035266, a series of activities participation in seminars and job shadowing in cooperation with the partner organization InDialogue. The program proved to be very useful for our needs and purposes, and was implemented very successfully.However, the 3 seminars we attended are only a smaller part of the whole cycle. Therefore, we agreed and applied for this project which would complete the program of key seminars and other complementary activities (job shadowing). This project aims were to really raise to a higher level abilities and capabilities of the trainers of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Split - the Center for lifelong learning in the design and implementation of the activities presented above.<< Objectives >>The main objectives of this project were:• To develop the key competencies of staff in the entire area of ​​lifelong education, specifically within the area of ​​counseling and guidance as well as on conducting workshops on these topics.• To innovate and develop the quality of our educational services for participants of lifelong education programs, specifically towards career guides and counselors.• To implement and be able to pass on a reflective practice, where one model does not fit all, but where approaches and methods can be adjusted to individual and very diverse needs.• To raise the competencies of the leadership to support its staff in creating the innovative changes and raising the quality of the educational services.• To build and strengthen knowledge of European partners for future international activities as well as for sharing and development of good adult educational practice in the field of lifelong education.• To maintain and raise the motivation and job-satisfaction of the staff to ensure a motivated pool of human resources who are committed to the advancement of lifelong learning and adult education at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split.<< Implementation >>It should be noted that the implementation of this project was significantly impacted by the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic. The pandemic affected the very course and schedule of activities planned within the project, but also the application and dissemination of the acquired knowledge and competences. Thanks to the extensions of the Project duration and the easing of restrictions from the beginning of 2022, the planned activities were ultimately successfully realized.Members of the Faculty of Economics staff attended courses (workshops) delivered by In Dialogue:- Two members of the Faculty of Economics staff attended the course on ""Strategic management"";- One member of the Faculty of Economics staff attended the course on ""Narrative coaching and guidance"";- Two members of the Faculty of Economics staff attended a combined course on topics of ""Inspiring facilitation, teaching and training"" and ""Consulting and development of teams and groups"";- Three members of the Faculty of Economics staff attended the course on ""Clear leadership""In addition, in the second stage, two activities of Job-shadowing were realized, which offered a chance to observe good practices within areas of development identified during workshops.<< Results >>All of the project's overall objectives have been generally achieved.- The Faculty teachers' skills and knowledge have been improved in the field of career counseling guidance and coaching,- New and specific ideas for improving the content and quality of the Faculty's educational services in general and especially adult education programs have been developed,- New methods of teaching focused on working with people and solving problems (Appreciative Approach, 'Solution focused approach', etc.) were transmitted and demonstrated to the colleagues from the Department of Management and the Faculty as a whole,- New approaches have been successfully implemented in concrete consultancy activities and trainings run by the Faculty and its employees in the companies they work with.- Significantly increased and extended organizational and supportive competencies of the staff in creating innovative changes and raising the quality of the educational services within the Center for lifelong learning and adult education,- Participation in this project has had a very positive impact on the motivation and job-satisfaction of the participants,"

    Naš projekt 2018-1-HR01-KA103-047082 je projekt Erasmus+ KA1, Mobilnost pojedinaca u svrhu učenja. Cilj projekta je omogućiti mobilnost studentima i osoblju Sveučilišta u Splitu. Studenti dostižu ciljeve mobilnosti: studiranje u međunarodnom okruženju, širenje obzora, stjecanje novih znanja, vještina i kompetencija te kozmopolitskog duha. Nastavno osoblje obogaćuje svoj profesionalni život, stječe nova znanja, vještine i kompetencije koje im pomažu unaprijediti njihov pristup i stil poučavanja, ali i ostvariti nove kontakte u profesionalnom svijetu. Administrativno osoblje pohađa strukturirane tjedne usavršavanja i/ili jobshadowing shemu kako bi dalje razvili svoje znanje, vještine i kompetencije potrebne za svakodnevne zadatke, osobito ako oni uključuju administraciju EU projekata te administraciju i procedure odlazne i dolazne mobilnosti. Od samog početka projekta, odustalo je čak 85 SMS odlaznih studenata te 6 SMP odlaznih studenata. Također, odustalo je 10 kandidata od mobilnosti u svrhu podučavanja te 21 kandidat od mobilnosti u svrhu osposobljavanja.Od 1. lipnja 2018. do 31. svibnja 2021., 541 osoba sa Sveučilišta u Splitu ostvarila je mobilnost i provela razdoblje u inozemstvu.Od tog broja, 197 studenata je bilo na studijskom boravku, 76 studenata na stručnoj praksi, 104 članova nastavnog osoblja ostvarilo je mobilnost u svrhu podučavanja te 164 članova osoblja mobilnost u svrhu osposobljavanja.Mobilnost studenata u svrhu studija imala je prosječno trajanje od 4 mjeseca (4 puna mjeseca i 14 dana). Najpopularnije destinacije su bile Italija, Portugal, Španjolska, Njemačka i Češka. Broj studenata sa slabijim socio-ekonomskim statusom je 42 od 197 (21.32%).Mobilnost studenata u svrhu stručne prakse imala je prosječno trajanje od 3 mjeseca (3 puna mjeseca i 3 dana). Najpopularnije destinacije su bile Njemačka, Španjolska, Portugal, Češka i Italija. Broj studenata sa slabijim socio-ekonomskim statusom je: 10 od 76 (13.16%). Mobilnost osoblja u svrhu podučavanja imala je prosječno trajanje od 4 dana. Najpopularnije destinacije su bile Portugal, Slovenija, Poljska, Italija i Španjolska.Mobilnost osoblja u svrhu osposobljavanja imala je prosječno trajanje od 4 dana. Najpopularnije destinacije su bile Španjolska, Portugal, Slovenija, Italija i Francuska.Većina studenata i osoblja smatra da su im se kompetencije unaprijedile nakon sudjelovanja u mobilnosti.Opće zadovoljstvo odlaznih sudionika mobilnošću ima raspon od 96.95% kod mobilnosti u svrhu studija, od 97.33% kod studenskih praksi do 98.76 % kod mobilnosti osoblja. Studenti su pristupili OLS jezičnim testovima provjere znanja prije i nakon mobilnosti, dok su neki pristupili i OLS jezičnom tečaju.Rezultati projekta su vidljivi na Sveučilištu u Splitu i šire. Sudionici mobilnosti rado govore o prednostima mobilnosti te potiču svoje prijatelje, kolege i radne kolege na prijavu na natječaje. Odjel za međunarodnu i međusveučilišnu suradnju organizira informativne i diseminacijske aktivnosti kojima potiče na mobilnost cijelu akademsku zajednicu, nudeći se kao pouzdan partner za pomoć pri planiranju, implementaciji i izvješćivanju o mobilnosti. Učinak ovog projekta na Erasmus+ projekte koji su u tijeku je, s obzirom na izazove mobilnosti studenata s kojima se trenutno susrećemo, mogli bismo reći ključni čimbenik opstanka interesa za mobilnost. Osobito je vidljiv učinak kod porasta interesa za mobilnost osoblja jer osoblje uviđa značaj iskustva koje mogu steći i utjecaja istog na njihovu buduću profesionalnu karijeru. Još jedan učinak je da Sveučilište u Splitu postaje jako atraktivno stranim studentima. Porast broja dolaznih sudionika, kako studenata tako i osoblja dokazuje domino efekt prošlogodišnjih rezultata Erasmus+ projekta na ovaj. Broj dolaznih studenata u svrhu studijskog boravka tako je značajno premašio broj odlaznih SMS studenata (268 prema 197).Dugoročni učinci na našu ustanovu koji proizlaze iz ovog projekta su podizanje svijesti akademske zajednice o važnosti otvaranja prema međunarodnim aktivnostima, mobilnosti i projektima; prihvaćanje i življenje činjenice da mobilnost može unaprijediti kvalitetu studiranja, podučavanja, učenja i rada na svim razinama.

Students reach the objectives of mobility: studying in an international environment, broadening horizons, acquiring new knowledge, skills and cosmopolitan spirit. Teaching staff enrich their professional background and portfolio; acquire new knowledge, skills and competences that could help them improve their teaching approach and technique, as well as make new contacts in their professional world. Student mobility for studies had an average duration of almost 5 months (4 full months and 28 days). We hosted students from Bosnia and Herzegovina (5 students), Serbia (2 students) and from Korea (1 student) and sent from University of Split to Partner Universities of Serbia 4 students and to Partner University of Korea 1 student.Staff mobility for teaching had an average duration of 9 days. There were in total 16 teaching staff mobilities (8 incoming and 8 outgoing): 6 mobilities with the Partner Country Bosnia and Herzegovina, 7 mobilities with the Partner Country Serbia, 3 mobilities with the Partner Country Republic of Korea.Staff mobility for training had an average duration of 9 days. There were in total 21 staff training mobilities (12 incoming and 9 outgoing): 6 mobilities with the Partner Country Argentina, 4 mobilities with the Partner Country Bosnia and Herzegovina, 4 mobilities with the Partner Country Serbia, 2 mobilities with the Partner Country Montenegro, 2 mobilities with the Partner Country Canada, 2 mobilities with Partner Country United States of America and 1 mobility with the Partner Country Republic of Korea.Majority of students and staff reported improvement in their competences after participating in the mobility.
