"IES La Granja ""Professional Development in Europe"" is the fourth project carried out successfully by our school. The level of satisfaction among our participants is around 90% and the receptiveness of the program Erasmus+ among our students and educational community in general is very positive. The students attending our center come from middle-class families who, in many cases, cannot afford their children an international training, so the integration of Erasmus in our curriculum has meant the opportunity, for economically disadvantaged students, to complete their Training in an international context. We believe that the main objectives set out in the proposal have been met and summarized in the following points:- To promote student training based on innovation- To consolidate over time, collaboration and cooperation agreements with European organizations in the field of training and labor entities, that favor a mutual enrichment of both our students and teaching staff, and consequently give a greater European dimension to our center- To improve language proficiency of students and teachers- To improve the climate of coexistence and avoid the high level of absenteeism- To reduce the percentage of students leaving the education system11 students of the center participated In this project, out of 7 were recent graduated and 4 were in second year course, these latter were able to validate their last course module (""Training in Work Placement) with the period of work practices as the main activity planned in the project.Mobilities were offered to all the VET professional families taught in the center, finally the participating students have been 5 of CFGM Nursing Auxiliary Care, 4 CFGM Gardening and Florist, 2 CFGM Pharmacy and Parapharmacy. All the participants were in ages ranging between 18-25 years old and it was the first time for all of them to perform an internship in a European company. The program has meant an unforgettable experience both professionally and personally, beside the linguistic competence achived in a second language spoken in the EU, in this case English, Italian and Portuguese. The impact of Erasmus + in our educational community, throughout these years, has been very positive and can be summarized in these 3 essential points: - Greater motivation in our students resulting in a reduction of school absenteeism - Higher labor insertion rate, around 80% - European dimension of our training processes - integration of Erasmus + in our curriculum"
