Aged between 16 and 24 years old that neither in employment nor in education and training (NEETS). We have chosen this group because after we read several EU studies, we found out that this group has a high risk of being excluded from the labour market (https://www.eurofound.europa.eu/young-people-and-neets-1). We also realized that the future of these young people is a priority for the EU’s ET 2020 framework so we want this project to make them realize that skill improvement can help you find work. All the activities of this project were based on a variety of non-formal methods (games, teambuilding, visual methods, competitions, role plays, group work, peer to peer learning, discussion, etc.), structured in the way to meet needs of young people. Starting from analyzing their passions and identifying what they want to do, realizing what strong parts they have, more clear understanding in what company they would like to work, creating their motivation letters, Europass CV, Video CV, practically try different methods to apply for a job, improve their self-esteem and communication skills. The most important impact of this project is on 36 participants, which significantly developed themselves with skills, knowledge, and attitudes towards finding work they like and that match their type of personality. They became an example, role models for hundreds or thousands other young people who still don’t know what they want to do in their lives, don’t know how to apply to jobs, how to prepare interview etc. Thus, level of unemployment among NEET slightly start to fall down.Variety of dissemination activities ensured the impact on the European/international level, therefore awareness of the process of finding employment, the challenges and the solutions developed by our participants. The greater amount of young people are better prepared for the process of finding employment. They became more motivated to take action and more open to self educate themselves, therefore the level of education among young people the increase and recent graduates become ready to obtain the job they like.Besides that raised awareness on the difficulties for young people to find work that they like, after they finish school, as well as promoting Erasmus+ program and volunteering as a way to acquire skills that will help the transition into a paid career, was one more step in bringing new policies and reforms on European level.

Often it happened to the management in companies, which prefer to promote inside employees for new open position instead of hiring new employee. When the companies decided to take a new youth employee, may happen the rights of the youth employee can be violated, and sometimes even without employee’s awareness. That led to breaking the connection between the companies and youth employees. After the violation of the youth employee’s rights, the person is demotivated and untruthful to their next employer, that can resolve in unstable communication, connection between the two sides. Many young people don’t know their labour and social rights when they apply for a first job, quit a job or got fired. Big percent are afraid of the future or even give up to continue study because they thought that a good job is “a now” job and after their first experience with the corporate world they are more confused and lost interesting in developing their own skills in future. We found program Youth Guarantee that is developing in Cyprus, Commission in country report for 2016 stressed: ""Youth unemployment is falling, but remains well above pre-crisis levels. At 32.6 % in September 2015, it is significantly above the EU average (20.1 %). The youth unemployment rate (15-24) is more than double the overall unemployment rate"". This statement lead us to Eurostat website where we found statistic for “Youth neither in employment nor in education and training (NEET) rate. On this stage we agreed, that our target group would be young people from this category. We set following objectives of the youth exchange:1. Raise knowledge and understanding about International Labour Standards on employment; discrimination, while applying to an open position or during the work. Occupational safety, health and social security among young people and how to react in case of abusing their rights.2. Support young people in personal development by acquisition of necessary competences (writing motivation letter, preparing CV, searching and applying for job, etc), which are needed to make smooth gradual transition to labour market, education or training.3. Raise awareness among young people about variety of opportunities for study, training and employment (support programmes, EVS, Erasmus for young entrepreneurs, etc).4. Enhance employability and improve career prospects of young people from the minority groups that are in highest risk of unemployment, not in training like romas and refugees. As well, as people coming from problematic families or orphanage.5. Promote non-formal education and Erasmus+ programme. Based on problems that we identified and experience of our partners, we create activities, which help us to reach our objectives. Methodology to carry out the project consisting of the non-formal methods- games, teambuildings, visual methods, competitions, role-plays, group work, peer-to-peer learning, discussion, presentations etc. The first level of observable impact was obviously on the 30 participants. The activities designed for this project meant to leave a significant mark on the participants’ lives. Developing of participants started even before actual activities and continue after; we expect that our project will create momentum for them, so they will continue developing themselves all their life. They will become an example, role models for hundreds or thousands other young people who don’t know about their labour rights, who don’t know what they want to do in their lives, don’t know how to apply to jobs, how to prepare interview etc. Thus, level of unemployment among NEET will slightly start to fall down."

The project we will foster social inclusion of vulnerable groups via peer to peer learning on diversity in a multicultural environment. To achieve desirable result, we will gather 35 participants from Cyprus, Georgia, Ukraine, Martiniqe and Spain to explore how stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination causes exclusion and negatively affects society, as well as, to discover how diversity supports inclusion of vulnerable groups and builds strong society. This will be achieved through fulfilling project objectives: build the knowledge of youngsters from Cyprus, Georgia, Ukraine, Martinique and Spain on the basics of equality, diversity, interculturalism, social inclusion, and etc. and provide them with means to share this knowledge with others;, Strengthen with competencies needed for self- and professional development and to raise awareness and understanding of other cultures establish international contacts and develop a sense of European citizenship. We decided to focus this topic because nowadays societies are changing ever more rapidly and becoming increasingly diversified. Social change often has the capacity to seem threatening to those attached to the status quo, which can lead to resentment and fear of perceived outsiders, such as refugees, migrants, ethnic and religious minorities and others resulting in attitudes that range from mild prejudice to acute stigma, followed by discrimination and exclusion. Therefore it is necessary to address equal participation and respect for diversity, which in the longer term can contribute to more integrated and socially cohesive societies. We will use non-formal and Informal educational tools during the youth-exchange such as role play, creative workshops, educational games, study visit, event planning and etc. which were chosen by professional youth leaders together with young people involved into the project development. As for the long-term impact, participants will disseminate project results by bringing them to the attention of a broader audience, outside the immediate project group. The audience includes youngsters living around us, family members, our local communities, local governments, our friends and partner organizations from Europe and all over the world. They will be informed about results of youth exchange through distributing project outputs like Fairy Tale Book, flyer, press release, videos, and photos published on web page and social media of host and participant organizations (distributed with Erasmus+ logo). Besides this, we will use e-mail list, social media, TV , printed and online media to reach regional and international levels so as to reach wide audience. For sustainable long-term impact Fairy Tale Book will be uploaded online and everybody can download and use it for personal reasons (to learn about different cultures and related fairy tales) or for professional (to teach youngsters etc.)."

Trás-os-Montes is still a very closed and traditional society with very low cultural awareness, resistance to innovation, stereotypes, judgments and misconceptions towards migrants, outsiders and other minorities. This conservative mindset is affecting all its development and relation with the exterior, but also its young people interest for the region, as most of them chose to leave instead of trying to change it. The ones who stay are too exposed to those ideas and with no energy to make a difference. We really believe youth can be the change-makers on this situation, and we feel it's our obligation to do something on this matter, by giving them, the proper tools and awareness, as we believe it is by exposing the local population to the contact with people, informations and realities related with forced migrations, that we can start changing mentalities. This way it is our objective for the project to: -Make young people and the general local community more receptive to the forced migration question -Fight prejudice, judgment and misconception -Stimulate a sense of active citizenship in the local and international youth -Stimulate intercultural awareness, interaction and connection -Install in the community the European values of unity, equity, tolerance and mobility -Fight hate speech, particularly among youth -Call the attention of policy-makers to the importance of opening the community to the exterior -Stimulate youth participation in the solution of international and European problematics -Emphasize the importance of European citizenship in the modern society -Stimulate in youth a sense of initiative, active participation and the development of a critical mentality -Prepare and open the receptivity of the community for, in the future, being able to host and integrate migrants -Stimulate in youth the interest for mobility actions and programs The project will gather 35 youth, aged 18-30 years old, 7 of them group leaders with no age limit, from 7 different countries (Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, Greece, Jordan and Morocco) in the small and isolated town of Chaves, in of Trás-os-Montes. All the participants will be young people with few cultural awareness and few chances to get it on their own, this way matching the local youth population. They will all be youth suffering from any kind of obstacles, be them economical, geographical, social or just cultural. Migrant or internally displaced youth will be particularly welcome for the project. It will be made of one 8 day Youth Exchange, in which participants will be debating the migration context in modern society and all the discrimination it provokes in some communities. They will be sharing realities, opening themselves to other cultures and starting to understand the concept of an open and tolerant multicultural Europe. They will discuss tools to prevent extremist opinions, engage into the 'no hate speech' movement and then prepare intervention sessions in the local community to pass out those values to the locals. They will end with a self-prepared 'theatre of the oppressed' presentation and a debate with the local population. The activity will be lead in a non-formal environment, in which participants will set the pace and direction of the sessions with the help of our facilitators. It will be based on participation, share of opinions, discussion of ideas and team work in preparation of intervention tools and sessions. It will mostly work with team building methodologies, simulations, roleplays, challenges, critical thought and problem solving exercises. Hide It Beyond The Hill is expected to impact on the local community openness to migrants and outsiders, striking their prejudices and misconceptions, install in the local population the values of tolerance and equality and enhance their sense of European citizenship. It is also expected to trigger in the youth participants a sense of initiative, self-confidence and capacity to move other youth and be change-makers, also providing them with tools for it. Those impacts are meant to spread to the the local youth, stimulating them into action, and to reflect in the communities of all the participants. We expect it to be the start of a more open local society, with modernized values and attitudes and with a participative youth population that is capable to move and make things happen instead of just leaving. We also hope to inspire other youth organizations in diverse communities into follow our project and organize their own inclusive initiatives, to build a healthier background in Europe for
