With partners we have a very good collaboration which starts long time ago. The main theme proposed by the youngsters who design this project is active European citizenship through young volunteers; so during 7 days of activities, we will learn, speak and promote the rights and duties as EU citizen and in the main time we will promote the volunteering actions. All the activities will use non-formal education as active listening, brainstorming, team-building, out-door activities, games (trust games, role games, funny games, intercultural games, evaluation by games, etc.), learning by doing, open cafe, debates, etc. By all this methods we want to develop new skills and abilities for youngsters in order to help them to develop at personal and professional level. Also, on long-term, we want young people to act as active citizens in the community, to develop projects to help the local community and youth centers to become more active with activities dedicated to the needs and demands of young people.

The participants will work on creating creative performances that will be presented on the international youth day 12-th of August by moving the exchange in the Multicultural center of Kratovo. During the stay in Kratovo, the exchange will discuss with the local community, the needs and aspirations of young people, and will engage in a common action (flash-mob) to promote publicly through creative tools the respect between Roma and non-Roma youth. In order to stimulate and improve the opportunities for cooperation, a video and an internet platform will document the outcomes of the exchange. The participating organizations will benefit strongly of the exchange of experience and transfer of successful practices through this youth exchange, as well as through on/offline tools during follow-up, in order to strengthen innovative methods and approaches in non-formal education, social inclusion and challenging stereotypes and antigypsyism by using creativity. All partners will enlarge and deepen their grassroots networks in Roma communities, enhance their capacity in European cooperation, build partnerships to stakeholders and authorities on all levels, position themselves by mainstreaming their inclusive, empowering and participative approaches on the respective levels and fulfil their own missions. Based on already developed grassroots networks and active volunteers, this project targets to empower, train and capacitate young Roma and non-Roma as multipliers, role models and active citizens in order to raise their capacity, creativity, initiative, self-esteem, negotiating power to advocate their own needs to achieve sustainable effects in their own realities.
