ONLUSFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-ES01-KA102-049182Funder Contribution: 48,005 EURThe IES Virgen del Pilar is an educational center located in Zaragoza, in the University district, in the neighbourhood called Casablanca. Our center has more than 1300 enrolled students. The participation in this European project for the realization of internships of our Vocational Training students would involve an improvement of the following key areas for our Center: Modernization and Internationalization Strategy of the Center and improvement of our training programs; Increase number of graduates and reduction of early school drop-outs. Training adapted to the European market; Establishment of the connection between education, research and business; Improvement of key competences of the students; Improvement of linguistic and intercultural competences of our students. We have planned mobilities for 30 days (plus two days of travel: one day to get to the destination, and one day to come back) for: 10 students in March 2019 in Italy, matching the scheduled dates for the work placement module (FCT); 5 students in September 2019 to Italy too, to give flexibility about the dates to the students and give the option to participate to recent graduates; and 10 students in March 2020 to Poland, again matching the dates set for the FCT. The participating students will be students enrolled in the second year of the Vocational Training cycles of: 1) Transportation and maintenance of vehicles: Technician in Motor Vehicles Electromechanics, Technician in Bodywork, and Technician in Machine Electromechanics. 2) Installation and Maintenance: Technician in Electromechanical Maintenance, Technician in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Installations, and Technician in Heat Generation Installations. For the development of the project we collaborate with an intermediary partner in Spain: Mundus Association; and two partners in the European countries of destination of the internships: Uniser in Italy and Mode in Poland. Before mobility we will offer the students language courses, an intercultural training incorporated into a training weekend to give them information about the countries of destination and customs, documentation, fears and doubts will be solved, and students will be given explanations and guidelines on what to do in case of conflict and emergency, etc. The different phases of the project will include: - Preparation of the project (September 2017 - February 2018): Dissemination of the Erasmus+ program and evaluation of the interests of the students to decide on the number of places and destinations/dates for the preparation of this project. - Project approval (June 2018): Signing of the Grant Agreement with the SEPIE and internal preparation of the Action Plan and project phases. - Dissemination of the project (September-October 2018): Through the website and news board at the high school, and through the teaching staff. - Registration and selection of students (November 2018): Registration phase through an online form and presentation of documentation (CV, Letter of presentation, etc.) Selection based on grades and assessment of the tutors, as well as documentation presented , languages level and personal interview. - Confirmation of places (December 2018): Final list of participating students, and confirmation with European partners. - Training before the mobility (January-March 2019): Language courses and training before departure (intercultural and conflict resolution). -Mobility (March-April 2019, or in September for the second flow of 5 students to Italy): Company internships and continuous monitoring of the students. - Post-mobility (May-June 2019) Dissemination of the students experiences. ONLUSFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-ES01-KA102-049605Funder Contribution: 28,269 EUR"The INS Lacetánia faces different needs of its students (and the center itself): lack of transversal skills, need to improve knowledge of foreign languages, need to expand the work experience of students. To meet these needs, the center has developed an internationalization plan 2 years ago. The first step in 2017 was an international mobility project for internships for students and training for teachers. In 2018, we have created ""Move Manresa to Europe"" submitted with the aim of continuing to improve and strengthen the professional profile of students, motivate students with new challenges, and offer more innovative teaching methods thanks to the mobility of teachers. 1) Number and profile of the participants - Students: 24 students mobility in two years, Germany, Poland, Itàly and France. Profile: students committed to Erasmus +, who demonstrate a desire to improve their knowledge of a foreign language, and with good grades and behavior in class. - Teachers: 2 mobilities of teacher training to the destinations of Germany and Italy. On the other hand, we establish 2 mobilities of accompaniment to France and Poland. The profile of these participants: good curriculum with international experience, motivation, commitment to students and the project. 2) Specific activities and objectives - 24 student mobility for internships in companies with the aim of: Develop their skills, both professional and transversal, including their self-esteem, their autonomy and their maturity. Improve their linguistic skills, and above all, their command of English and their communication skills Expand your work experience and help them to better define their professional career Two mobility flows will have a companion, with the aim of: adding security and support to the mobility of the student and personally know the host partners and the conditions of accommodation and practices. - 2 Teacher Mobilities for a study visit with the aim of: Improve your level of foreign languages Import more innovative methodologies and teaching techniques Establish network of contacts 3) Partners in the project The INS partners are the following: - Mundus Association, as a sending partner organization, will manage mobility, training and documentation. - Intermediary partners from France, Italy and Poland, plus a homologous center in Germany: they will manage the reception, the deal with the company of internships, accommodation and help with student follow-up, reports and documentation. 4) Results, impact and long-term benefits. We foresee a profound impact on our participants and consequently throughout the center. Students will improve their self-esteem and autonomy, they will feel more prepared for an international professional career and will have more interest for other cultures and languages. They will be encouraged to participate in other educational projects at local and European level. The center will improve its projection at the local level as a point of reference in the field of European projects in the field of professional training. In the long term, the goal is for the entire educational community of the center to be aware of the importance of initiatives of this type and each year more students and teachers are interested in participating in mobility projects."

COOP. ONLUSFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-ES01-KA102-048971Funder Contribution: 51,001 EUR"The project, named ""TUBALCAÍN VET IN EUROPE"", has as its main goal the improvement of the personal and professional education of the Vocational Education students of the IES Tubalcaín. The duration of the internship was:- 32 days in Italy- 31 days in PolandDue to the difficulty of being able to travel on the scheduled dates given the availability of flights, the duration of mobility for students from Poland has been 31 days.During the mobilities the students made 160 hours of internship in the companies. Most of the students went with all the approved modules and the internships have been part of the 410 total hours of the professional module of Training in Workplaces (FCT) which is required in each VET studies. After checking the training needs and considering the objectives of the project, several companies from 2 different countries were chosen that operate in the fields of our three educational branches: Transport and Vehicle Maintenance, Installation and Maintenance, and Administration and Management. The countries chosen for this project were Italy and Poland. These destinations have been chosen on the basis of students' preferences, their language level and the quality of the companies in which they were able to carry out the internships, with the aim of offering a variety of experiences, European techniques and methodologies to improve their vocational and personal training.Although it was planned to carry out mobilities in companies in Slovenia and France, in the end no internships were carried out in these countries. The mobilities that took place in the 2018/2019 academic year were:- Italy: 15 students in the first year, in 2019.- Poland: 3 students in the first year, in 2019Taking into account that 3 students were minors and that, in general, they do not have previous experience of travelling abroad, 3 teachers travelled with them and accompanied them during the first week.In the 2019/2020 academic year it was planned to carry out 14 mobilities of this project, and despite having carried out all the necessary formalities and training to carry out the mobility, Finally, the students were not able to do the internships due to the international situation generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The objectives of the project have been:- To provide better opportunities for pupils/students: Students have been given the same opportunities as other young people/students in Spain. The IES Tubalcaín is located in a rural area away from large population centres and therefore in an area that offers fewer opportunities for students/ as they have fewer services. We have offered our students the most complete training and new opportunities.- To improve the intercultural skills of students: our students have had the opportunity to leave home and to get in touch with people from different countries and cultures, with different customs and have found it necessary to practice, speak and understand a language other than one’s own. Thanks to an international experience, students have improved their intercultural skills, developed values of respect, tolerance and will help to contribute to a more inclusive society.- To promote study and employability, and reducing school drop-out: in the area where the Centre is located, such initiatives are a very positive complement to the training of pupils/s. International internships mean an improvement in the training offered by the Centre, helping in the training of students, facilitating their subsequent integration into the labour market and improving their employability, as well as encouraging entrepreneurship. All this encourages the students to continue with their studies, decreasing the dropout rate.- To Improve the personal and professional skills of students/s: this international experience has exposed students/s to new situations and has helped them to mature and develop on a personal level, and to acquire key personal and professional skills. In addition, pupils/students have improved their language skills. The benefits of the project has had a positive impact on all participants:- The students/participants have benefited in terms of improving their personal, professional and linguistic training. This has improved their opportunities to enter the world of work, or for continuity with higher education or entrepreneurship: a high percentage of participants are working in companies in the area and the rest are studying a higher degree.- The Education Centre offers more complete training and is open to the outside world. The area benefits from the best qualifications of its workers and helps to improve the perception of vocational training."
