"Physical activity is a prerequisite for both physical and mental health. Access to safe and attractive public spaces for activity and the opportunity to enjoy quality recreation are vital to the health and personal development of all individuals. There are numerous barriers to individuals participating in physical activity. These include community, school, work and transport environments that are not conducive to incidental physical activity in daily life, high user fees, a lack of awareness of opportunities, transportation, time constraints, personal preferences, cultural and language barriers, self-esteem, issues of access to local recreation facilities and a lack of safe places to play. Strategies must be formulated to remove the barriers that are most relevant to each age, gender and socioeconomic group. Tackling inequalities in physical activity and achieving universal access to environments and facilities that support physical activity across social gradients will be necessary to achieve the best results. ""Sports For a Better World"" is an alliance that promotes innovative cooperation among the NGOs and federations in the sport sector across Europe. The main goal of the project is to propose political and strategic actions in order to promote physical activity in Europe. More specifically, the starting point of the reflexion is an alarming situation: levels of physical inactivity have reached an unprecedented peak in Europe. Indeed, according to the latest Eurobarometer survey on Sport and Physical Activity, 42% of EU citizens do not engage in physical activity at all. Consequently, our project aims at:• documenting the scale, costs and consequences of the physical activity crisis in Europe.• raising awareness of the physical inactivity crisis to decision-makers.• promoting physical activity for all as part of daily life• providing equal opportunities for physical activity regardless of gender, age, income, education, ethnicity or disability • removing barriers and facilitating physical activity• increase awareness of the importance of physical activity among key stakeholders• contribute to the achievement of optimal health for all people, the complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity• strengthening partner organisations’ capacities to design and carry out health-enhancing physical activity initiatives• increasing people’s active participation in to the local communities through developing their physical capabilities and inclination to personal effort, as well as social capabilities such as teamwork, solidarity, tolerance and fair play• developing, testing and exchanging new digital tools • developing practical guidance on how to organize and manage sporting events in order to empower people and make sport more inclusive and accessibleThe project will be led according to a three-step methodology:FIRST: We gather and analyse European data on the scale, costs and consequences of the physical activity crisis in Europe. Then, we use this research to raise awareness of the physical activity crisis to decision makers.THAN: We will develop curricula and make it available free of charge on the website and social media channels for the benefit of volunteers and professionals in sports organizations.THIRD: We will create an online portal and mobile phone application, where individuals can access detailed information about the activities and trainings that they can participate and organise in their locals.AND FINALLY: We will organize national seminars in the country of each project partner in order to disseminate the project results and to be used by different people.""Sports For a Better World"" will achieve the following results and potential longer term benefits;•Increased professional network with experienced practitioners and cross-sector collaboration •Developed knowledge and awareness around the holistic benefits of physical activity: •Closed gap between research and policymaking •Improved data collection and monitoring •Communication and public awareness•Developed innovative educational modules with newest knowledge and experience regarding beneficiary development incorporated into inclusion education; •Increased benefits to people through digital resources•Raised awareness/ empowered against the real needs of the sport and health sector."

In our project that will add another dimension to tennis sport, partners were carefully selected. First of all, the project was prepared by Etlik Youth and Sports Club that focuses on youth, takes the spread of tennis sport to the base as a mission and endeavours to train elite tennis players. The preparation of the project by Etlik Club is a natural result of the fact that sport clubs directly deal with the training of young people and thus, see the problems in the field at first hand. Besides, the club's management consists of people who have experience in working at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Turkish Tennis Federation or universities; thus bringing together powerful actors from Turkey and Europe in this project. The project partners are 2 universities and Turkish Tennis Federation from Turkey, and Tennis Europe -the boss of tennis in Europe- and Spanish Tennis Federation with a system that has trained the best tennis players of the

People have to make choices at every moment of their lives. From the moment we open our eyes and start the day, we are faced with many possibilities. At every moment of our lives, we have to make decisions between options. Sometimes we consult people around us when evaluating these options. Especially when making important decisions that will affect our lives, we get support from our family, friends or experienced people. In fact, we aim to transform this counseling we do in our daily life into a more comprehensive, systematic and accessible way. We aim to reach especially to young people who are in the most active period of their lives and need right guidance with mentoring activities. The COVID-19 has interrupted almost all mentoring activities and led to a limited transfer of the good habits and right behaviors between mentors and mentees as well. Mentor and mentee relationship requires ongoing communication and relationship, especially in difficult times. It seems paradoxical when the need for mentor support increases in difficult times, unfortunately the mentor should stay away from mentees due to COVID-19 or other reasons. As a solution to keep the mentoring and also transferring good habits and behaviors alive in case of any interruption between mentor and mentee, the e-mentoring system can become one of the most effective and innovative tools to solve any problem, develop young people regarding their talent, characters and skills, and fulfill the needs of the young people. The Erasmus + Program is bringing together the 6 partners from 4 different countries including Turkey, Romania, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. This partnership aims to increase the awareness of mentoring in Turkey for young people to use their potential in the best way. Objectives that we aim to reach with project activities are as follows;- To increase the awareness of institutions that contact young people about mentoring and to cooperate with institutions so that more young people can benefit from mentoring activities,- To provide young people with experience in different fields with mentoring skills,- Creating a digital platform that can bring mentors and mentees together,- To enable young people to know themselves, to have self-confidence, to increase their creativity, talent and potential in the best way,- Support the mental well-being of young people, especially those affected by the Covid-19 process, and to increase their participation in society by strengthening their social adaptation through the platform,- To encourage young people to acquire good character and good habits through volunteering and social responsibility activities to be a good person. We will carry out various activities to realize these objects;(I) Awareness-raising activitiesThe experiences of partner organizations in the field of mentoring will be shared and mentoring activities in Europe will be examined. In this context, we will work to bring mentoring activities to more young people in Turkey. We will organize a workshop to increase mentoring awareness. 150 participants from representatives of institutions that provide services to young people will participate in the workshop.(II) Mentor training160 young volunteers, age between 20-30, with experience in different fields will be given mentoring training. After this training, mentors will take part in the e-mentoring platform we will create. These young people will acquire lifelong skills.(III) E-mentoring platform, e-mentors' need analysis, and a toolkit for volunteer e-mentors.We will create a digital mentoring platform where mentors can meet with mentees without time or space restrictions together with e-mentor's need analysis and a toolkit for volunteer e-mentors. Young mentees will be able to communicate with people who will guide them on many issues. With the support of the mentors, they will get to know themselves better, use more of their potential and learn to make the most of the opportunities. With the help of this platform, we aim to reach at least 5000 young people between 15-30 years old within the project period.(IV) DisseminatingWe will organize a dissemination event so that the platform will continue to be used after the project is over. 150 representatives from state institutions, non-governmental organizations, universities and press members working with young people will participate in this event. When the project is completed we expect to have an increased awareness of mentoring in Turkey. We expect young people who benefit from e-mentoring activities to reveal their potential, to be aware of the opportunities ahead, to make the right choices, to be mentally healthy and to develop themselves intellectually. We expect that the platform will reach into a large audience at the local and transnational level even after the project is over and serve as a tool of the intercultural dialogue between young people.

Children and young people in the past, physical, mental, emotional, social skills to develop street games, sports branches to help while there is not much left to do on this issue today. Today's children and young people are growing in apartments, on the Internet, and they are not able to participate in regular sports activities. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), children's physical inactivity is the fourth most important risk factor for deaths worldwide and has a negative impact on their physical, mental and social lives. According to WHO (2013), overweight and obesity in childhood cause problems such as cardiovascular diseases, sugar, movement system problems, mental problems, school failures and non-self-esteem, and children and young people between the ages of 5-17 In total, at least 60 minutes of moderate to high physical activity is required to do. These and similar benefits are among the most important goals of the policy documents of the Ministry of Youth and Sport in our country as well as the policy documents of the EU sports support. In this sense, with this project, a training program module will be designed which will allow young people from the age of 13 to be introduced to the sport of tennis in 5 provinces (Agri, Trabzon, Mersin, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa) where the Training Center of the Tennis Federation can be introduced as well as to be a different tennis player that allows them to take a basic training in tennis. . In this context, it will be supported by its academic dimension and by bringing theoretical applications as well as practical applications, a new learning module will be introduced to tennis sport. In this way, young people will develop their social skills as well as support their academic skills as well as being a strong obstacle to their being able to lead to extra-curricular movements, formations and behaviors that may create disciplinary problems.
