We, in our project, aimed to support youth workers to their mission of better integration of young migrants through developing skills of youth workers by using innovative and creative artistic tools. As a result, initiative, creativity, and motivation enhanced both in the direct target – youth workers – and in their final target – migrants – for Europe to be more inclusive and cohesive. Art+ gathered 39 youth workers in Fethiye, Muğla, at Kaizen Gate Hotel & Training Center in between 10- 16 May 2018 (including travel days) from 12 different Program countries: Turkey, United Kingdom, Poland, Spain, Netherlands, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, Estonia, Romania, Latvia. (Greece was a partner in the application but we didn't have any participant from Greece as our partner couldn't reach the necessary number of participants, therefore there were other extra participants that has been placed in Art+ project from the other partner countries. The working methods were primarily based on the active participation and learning of participants promoted through non-formal and informal activities. The main methodological approaches were based on: - Creative thinking and art methods - Experiential learning - Cooperative and Peer learning - Outdoor activities Art+ has distributed in the flow of learning path as; - Information, knowledge exchange and competences development about art, intercultural dialogue, and youth work- An innovative tool for social inclusion: how social inclusion through artistic tools contribute a better social cohesion- Experiential learning- Follow up, dissemination and evaluation of the TC. As well as TC improved the quality of youth work in the field of intercultural dialogue and social inclusion of young migrants, also developed personal, professional and intercultural competencies of youth workers and inspire them to use powerful tools such as artistic expression, creative thinking, and ICT to ease the path towards social inclusion and cohesion among youngsters, with migrant background youth (un)employment and wellbeing. With these actions, Art+ had a strong direct positive impact: on the main target group, youth workers by increasing their personal and professional skills,on the migrants΄ community living in participants’ regions, through their future actions and activities Art+ inspired inspire and motivate youth workers on the direction of social inclusion of migrants. The potential longer benefits that Art+ project aimed to have is to create a network from the participating organizations that is going to continue disseminating project’s ideas and results even after the end of it. With the gained knowledge, organizations learned to use these alternative ways to create new projects and promote innovation, creativity, and cohesion in the EU area.Project film can be seen through the following link below;http://bit.do/artandintegrationbyartisngo

While the form of conflicts may vary such as inter ethnic, inter-religious, international or any other many states face urgent situations of tension and are not always prepared to handle them or to find solutions acceptable to all concerned. Recently, security logics and increased policing have been the choice of governments in response to conflicts. More and more, there is a tendency to “explain” conflict through multiculturalism or religion, thus blaming culture and diversity for growing tensions. Especially there is growing fears towards refugees, muslims leads radicalization in many European countries. In addressing youth, conflict is an inevitable topic, both as a transversal theme and as a specific area of work. The European institutions are aware of this, and both have some form of specific programming in relation to youth and conflict, actively engaging in co-operation on this theme. Young people face different kinds of conflict in their lives and transitions to adulthood, and at the same time many live in regions or environments experiencing or recovering from conflict. Furthermore, the forms and types of conflict that can be experienced change with the dynamic development of societies in response to globalisation. The background of the project outline is constituted by existing regional conflicts in Eastern Europe and Caucasus and the increasing tensions within many EU countries in regards to nationalism, xenophobia. Viewing the post-soviet context with frozen and hot conflicts/war in east Ukraine (Ukraine - Russia), Abkhazia and Southern Ossetia (Georgia) and Nagorno- Karabakh (Armenia - Azerbaijan), Kurdish conflict (Turkey), political conflict between Netherlands and Turkey proves that conflict management and peace building are obviously among the most important issues especially among young people for civil society organizations to work on. All the above stated illustrates the importance of youth work in the areas of peace building, conflict transformation, peace education and anti-discrimination. Many youth workers are missing skills to deal with conflict or has limited methods to apply. so these create big need to train youth workers to develop theirs skills and prove them different tools to promote peace education. Considering all above mentioned we decided to create a training course to fill in the gap. Skills and Tools to Transform Conflict - STTC provided tools to youth workers on conflict management and peace education for their daily work with young people. Second of aim STTC is to develop capacity and skills of participants to become a peace-builder and change makers in their communities. The following objectives have been set in order to implement a successful training course: • To exchange best practices in relation to youth work and conflict and -cultural dialogue; • To provide tools for conflict management and peace education; • To promote common understanding of peace and dialogue; • To develop and promote the culture of peace; • To create space for NGOs and youth workers to cooperate in the implementation of joint projects on local, regional and international level; • To raise the visibility of the Erasmus+ Programme in the U.K and EECA region. The training course(TC) ""Skills and Tools to Transform Conflict - STTC"" took take place in London, United Kingdom between 29 November - 6 December 2018. TC gathered 31 youth workers and youth leaders, included 3 trainers, 1 junior trainer and 1 project manager, 1 support staff from 6 EECA and 6 Programme countries as such as; United Kingdom, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Netherlands, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus. This TC covered different types of conflicts and in different settings and consequently ways of transforming conflicts by non-violent actions. Crucial attention was placed on fostering a constructive debate on recent conflicts in Europe and cooperation in the youth field. This was done by promoting non-violent approaches leading to actions on peace-building and promotion of Human Rights. Moreover, young leaders discussed the significant role of youth participation in grass-root peace-building initiatives. The trainers and invited experts shared practical and theoretical knowledge on the topics, through plenary sessions, discussions, workshops, creativity sessions, inter-cultural & interactive exercises and other non-formal educational methods. Essential throughout the TC is the input and experience sharing from participants."

This is the lowest rate for the EU-28 since September 2011, but anyway the rate is still higg as the latest statistics of Eurostat december 2016 shows 18.6 % of young people are unemployed in the EU-28. The highest rates were observed in , Greece (46.13%), Spain (43.6 %)Italy (36.4 %), Croatia (29.7%). Entrepreneurship is one the most important aspect to fight with youth unemployment as today social entrepreneurship is becoming one of the effective and innovative methods to solve the social problems. It gives the opportunity to deal with the problematic issue in a creative way that in turn helps to involve into social sphere more people, create alternative jobs and income. In light of economic changes, globalisation and requirements on labour market (the moving from employment to employability) entrepreneurship itself is becoming popular issue among young people as a lot of them are struggling to find job or having their own income. As a result of these young people are searching alternative way which turns to be running of their own enterprises. In order to be able to do this they need some certain skills and knowledge like knowledge business sector, understanding financial risk and management, having soft skills (communication, leadership, management etc). Moreover, 90 % of all startups are failing which stops young people to put their ideas in action. At this point NGOs should provide young people with information and help on the topic of social entrepreneurship and involve them into the issue. But there are not many organisations which are competitive enough in this field. That youth exchange “A new Job - A new Love - Entrepreneurship” aims to develop participants’ skills on social entrepreneurship, financial management, creativity, soft skills, strategic planning of the ideas. It is designed for youth leaders, youth volunteers ages between 18 - 30 to explore methods of working with youth on the topic of social entrepreneurship and practical skills on running the social enterprise with their organisations. The priority age group will be 18 - 30 years old. The whole project is built up and developed in accordance with the objectives and the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme.
