Antonio Domínguez Ortiz,LICEUL TEHNOLOGIC SFANTUL PANTELIMONFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2017-1-ES01-KA201-038044Funder Contribution: 121,701 EURThe SWIS project was designed to create synergies between the real scientific world, studies and scientific projects designed and developed by professionals from the world of scientific research and professionals from the public sector who were in direct contact with scientific knowledge and secondary schools in Europe. In this way, the project could motivate and create interest in Science in students with low academic level, high level of absenteeism and disinterest in higher studies related to Science. Thus the objectives met have been:-Improve interest in the scientific world.-Improve the techniques of the scientific method in secondary schools linked to the project.-Improve communication in English.-Improve coexistence between European regions.-Know other cultures outside the borders of the neighborhood.-Improve self-esteem.-Improve communication skills.-Improve the capacity in techniques of exposition of scientific works.- Provide schools with resources and material resources to be able to devote themselves to scientific research in health and environmental fields.-Know the importance of scientific research in topics of social and environmental interest. The social profile of students has been very diverse, but this has not been an impediment for all of them without exception to develop the same scientific experiences and prepare the same research papers. In addition to the training activities they have shown great interest in participating in them and learning from other students. Both in training in Seville and in Bucharest, students have exchanged enriching cultural experiences. It has been a complex project in the organization because it has been difficult for materials and products to reach schools at the same time, but this has not been inconvenient for its realization. It is true that coordinating that the work will be carried out in the school times of each school has been an extra effort, because there is not the same schedule and work and holiday time, but all of them have carried out the activities designed by the research staff correctly .The number of scientific activities developed in each school has been slightly less than the number of research activities proposed in the project, since we realized that the research works were of great depth and we should devote much more time than expected to work it in the classrooms On the other hand, the time it took to provide the necessary chemical products and the purchase of necessary equipment was also longer than the stipulated one. All this had to be combined with the official curriculum of each school. However, we are very satisfied with the result since there have been 12 research projects developed by students in schools and during the training week in Seville and Bucharest. From the research work carried out by students in schools, a compilation of scientific videos was carried out explaining the methodology that was carried out in all of them. In these videos, all the students involved expose the development process of each experience. It can be seen on the Project website:https://erasmusplusswiscom.wordpress.com/scientific-work-swis/In addition, also on this website you can collect the research work developed by them in pdf format to be easily downloaded. The activities developed by the students are compiled in the published Didactic Guide and that can be accessed from the project website.Once the experiences were carried out by the students in each school, they presented the report to the researcher who received and supervised these reports. Subsequently the scientific video was made explaining the research process so that the same experience could be reproduced in any school. In the last part of the project, students, with the results obtained, had to design the scientific infographics, which are also displayed on the project website. This served as dissemination material in the multiplier event where they were exhibited. In addition, the students participating in the Bucharest Congress did their exhibition work (also published on the web) that they showed very professionally in this training week. Students very motivated and enthusiastic about the final result of these two years of collaboration.Parallel to the scientific works, the cultural activities that were celebrated in the schools were disseminated in a blog created for it (access from the web) so that we exchanged these experiences among all.The educational impact is unquestionable.

GmbHFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2019-1-ES01-KA202-064339Funder Contribution: 156,841 EURThe Erasmus+ Project KA202 – Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training, ‘The Quality of DualVET’ – was developed in response to the identified need to assess the quality of vocational education and training, and to undertake an objective evaluation of the learning process, that is especially being developed in countries in the early stages of integrating this vocational training method. These needs were identified following contact between vocational training schools in Italy and Spain and public education authorities who, especially in Andalusia, are supporting the institutions to bring the project to its fruition. In order to realize the project objectives, the project coordinator, IES Hermanos Machado of Seville (Spain), believed it necessary to incorporate the following organizations as partners:•Institutions able to carry out educational research and analysis and to produce reports (Universities).Seville University and Federico II University, Naples.•Private companies that, as well as offering their vision and opinion on the project as businesses, lean on the professional expertise and experience of their workforce in the field of vocational training projects led by strategic partnerships, and whose activities and purpose include advising and training businesses from a wide variety of sectors. (Private Businesses). Vocational Education and Training, S.L., Seville (Spain) and Bildungswerk der Niedersächsischen Wirtschaft Gemeinn, GmbH, Lower Saxony (Germany).•Vocational education institutions with experience in vocational education and training. (State schools specializing in vocational training).Iti Renato Elia, Salerno (Italy) – Berufsbildende Schulen des Landkreis, Osnabrück (Germany). The Quality of DualVET was designed with a view to involving partners in countries in the early stages of integrating the work-based-learning (WBL) model as well as others coming from countries where these methods have been successfully integrated for many years and, as such, can offer their experience and expertise in a practical way, not only in the system’s implementation but also in its quality control and evaluation. Two intellectual tools are envisaged for the project:•An evaluation and quality control guide on vocational education and training. The guide is the product of collaboration between all the organizations participating in vocational education and training and establishes quality control criteria in accordance with EQAVET descriptors that the organizations must comply with. It also utilizes other necessary resources to ensure the project’s success, namely: educational centers, businesses, student training, training manuals and professional integration of apprentices.•A digital tool for evaluation and quality control of FPDual.A web application will be developed to serve as a digital aid to the FPDual evaluation and quality control guide. As such, the resource will not only be used by participating, but accessible everywhere and at all times. To create these two intellectual tools, different activities will be undertaken, carried out in compliance with management, quality, testing and diffusion plans. Included within these activities are: transnational meetings between the partners, learning activities, education and training in Germany, training sessions for interested collaborators as well as further events. As an immediate impact of the project, partners will share good practices, receive support from experts in Germany and will be able to view their educational system from a critical perspective thus identifying its strengths and weaknesses. They will be able to apply new ideas and conclusions about quality control and evaluation to their daily work relating to FPDual, and to put procedures into practice, incorporating them into their own FPDual training plans. In the medium term, training manuals produced by universities will incorporate the conclusions of the FPDual evaluation and quality control guides. In the long term, and being an innovative digital tool, there is a commitment from public educational authorities that the two intellectual tools will be integrated into control, monitoring and evaluation procedures of vocational education and training programs carried out in their relative countries and regions. The project ‘The Quality of DualVET’ complements outcomes of the projects: Erasmus+ KA2 ‘’EQAVET in practice’’ 2015-1-SE01-KA202-012245 and the project Erasmus+ ‘’Dual-Vet partners in Europe’’ 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038512.
