VET - Experiences Abroad for Staff and Young graduates in VET"", promoted by Essenia UETP, has foreseen the carrying out of: N°70 mobilities lasting 122 days (120 of traineeship and 2 of travel) addressed to recent graduates that have performed a traineeship in companies located in: United Kingdom, Spain and Ireland; No. 20 mobilities lasting 14 days (12 of training and 2 of travel) addressed to the staff of VET Institutes and organizations. They have carried out the jobshadowing in companies located in Spain. The professional sectors in which the traineeships and the training/job shadowing activities have been performed are: Tourism Fashion Industry; ICT, Communication&New media; Marketing, Commercial Services, Administration Electronics Mechanics/Mechatronics; Socio-sanitary field; Engineering, Environment&Territory. Therefore, beneficiaries of the mobilities have been, respectively, recent graduates that have obtained the school diploma in one of the aforementioned sectors, and staff members from Institutes, entities and VET organizations operating in those fields. The projects was born to meet the training needs- in terms of practical experience- of recent graduates, and to favour the entry (and the permanence, in the case of the staff) in a globalized labor market that requires the mastery and the updating of knowledge, competences and abilities both sectorial and personal as well as transversal (intercultural, linguistic, IT, entrepreneurial). The needs of the VET world and of the job market have been noticed by Essenia UETP starting from the debates occurred during the informative and training meeting that the company periodically realizes at National level. The analysis made highlighted the need of implementing actions of transnational mobility for strengthening and updating competences, both of recent graduates and staff, in the sectors identified in the project. The sectors chosen are: extremely relevant for the Italian economy (tourism, fashion, commerce), constantly increasing (ICT, electronics/electrotechnics, marketing), and in which the request of specific competences has grown (social field, environment and territory). Objectives of the project were: improve the technical and professional skills of new graduates by offering them the opportunity to experiment ""on the field"" what they learned during their school path, by carrying out a traineeship abroad; update the skills of the staff of VET institutions, giving them the opportunity to carry out job shadowing activities within Institutes and companies; reinforce, in both graduates and staff, the EU identity and improve intercultural, linguistic and digital skills, allowing the development of a set of personal and transversal skills indispensable in the current labour market. At the end of the project, there was a positive impact on all participants, in terms of: strengthening of sectorial skills and soft skills, enhancement of the competitiveness of the professional profile and increased opportunities of job inclusion. The carrying out of the project is part of the internationalization strategy of Essenia UETP, that foresees the implementation and the development of activities aimed at improving the quality and increasing the quantity of transnational mobility projects.Besides the transversal phases of monitoring and dissemination, the project has seen the implementation of the following management activities, carried out according to procedures and methodologies already experimented over the years, and that have guaranteed high quality standards: Information and sensitization; Selection of participants; Linguistic and pedagogical preparation; Logistic and practical organization of mobilities; Evaluation of the Learning Outcomes and of the project; Dissemination of project results. The quality procedures adopted are constantly improved and updated, also thanks to the use of new technologies and to the professional retraining of Essenia UETP’s human resources, that occurs also through the participation in training activities held in the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 projects. Over the years, Essenia UETP has further broadened its already wide network of European partners, identifying entities and companies able to offer mobility experiences meeting high quality standards and preferring, among them, the ones of proved experience. All over the National territory relationships with VET Institutes, public and private entities, companies have been consolidated to assure congruence and coherence between the activities proposed and the needs of the users. At local level, Essenia UETP has enhanced the cooperation with the bodies in charge of implementing the approaches and of adopting European methodologies and tools for the certification and validation of the competences (ECVET), in order to make the formal and informal competences acquired during the mobility more spendable on the labour market"

In a dynamic, open-minded and innovative society, strongly inserted in the European and international dimension, it becomes necessary to operate in a European context and to expand the knowledge of European policies and systems. Thanks to the project, it will be possible to plan and implement interventions that will produce efficacy and efficiency on the local social fabric in favour of the employment growth of young women. The project is linked to a social context where the negative effects of the economic and labor market crisis, have been perceived as problems to be faced in a vivid way. The reasons behind “Wo.M.En.” project, exclusively intended to a young female target, derive from the overall figure of female employment (recorded in the 2008-2014 seven-year period) that reflects a strong territorial difference: a significant growth in the Central-Northern regions (+135,000 units equal to + 1.9%) and an important and really ""exceptional"" drop - in the Southern Part of Italy (71,000 fewer units, equal to -3.2%). From the overall view, it clearly emerged that the female question in the Italian labor market has essentially a territorial connotation. The data, collected by the Social Cooperative Society Eudemonia ONLUS, are added to a particularly alarming ""structural"" condition for the South that can be shown by the results of the comparison of female employment rates, before and after the crisis, with the European average. The alarming data concerns young women, within an age range between 15 and 34, whose employment rate in the South is only at 20.8%, over 20 percentage points less than the Center-Northern Part of Italy and 30 percentage points less than the European average. In this context, the project allowed 50 female new-graduates, resident in Campania Region, to live a 120 days internship abroad, carried out in companies, institutions and organizations in Ireland, United Kingdom and Spain, in the following sectors: social, cultural, tourism, volunteering and hospitality. The project has pursued and achieved the specific objectives, in particular:- to improve the level of competences and ""key"" skills for the creation of ""practical"" curricula, useful for the development of the national and European labour market; to allow the strengthening, for all the participants, of highly requested soft skills in the modern labour market, such as problem solving, team working, time management, planning, creative resolution, sense of responsibility and maturity, flexibility, adaptability, open mindedness and inclination to intercultural dialogue;- to create benefits for the youth target in terms of growth of ""professional"" skills, knowledge and enhancement of their potentialities;- to support the integration into foreign working realities and in wider terms, the social integration of the participants in different European countries; to contribute to the improvement of Language Learning and to the ""sectorial"" deepening of the used languages, such as Spanish and English. This also happened thanks to the support granted by the Erasmus + Online Linguistic Support (OLS) platform, which all the beneficiaries benefited from, being able to attend, in e-learning, a language course throughout their stay abroad and measuring the level of specialization achieved by comparing the initial assessment test with the final one; - to contribute to the process of validation and recognition of professional skills, in line with the provisions of the ECVET system, through the provision of recognition tools used at European level such as the Europass Mobility Document, whose official recognition is based on the methods and established timing that are shared in the Memorandum of Understanding, a document signed by the partners who have actively contributed to the project dynamics;- to develop new skills able to improve social integration and in general young women life, according to a gender perspective, that promotes the whole enjoyment of the rights and equality per each person."

Mazzini Locri,Atheneajob s.l.Funder: European Commission Project Code: 2018-1-IT02-KA101-046876Funder Contribution: 73,818 EURThe “I.D.I.O.M. Improved Didactics' Instruments fOr new teaching Methodology” project comes from “G. Mazzini”’s requirements of creating an innovative, inclusive and international school environment, given its placement in a cultural context that records an unemployment rate at 22,9% with many students in a situation of economic disadvantage. The High School “G. Mazzini” is located in a context marked by learners with mixed backgrounds, it aims to train dynamic and aware citizens, regardless of every form of physical, social and economic prejudice. The aim has always been of focusing on the necessities of the students and favour the exchange with the outside world, in a both local and global perspective. Therefore, this High School has built, during the years, a broad network of relationships with other schools, institutions and companies, signing agreements, affiliations and protocols of understanding. As seen in the Evaluation Record, in order to increase student’s performances, it was necessary to improve also the staff’s education. Indeed, through the implementation of the project “I.D.I.O.M. – Improved Didactics’ Instruments fOr new teaching Methodology” it was given to 25 teachers the opportunity to benefit from a learning experience that had consequences on the school community, on the students’ improvement and on the teachers’ personal portfolio. The aim of the project was to educate a team of Italian, Math, Science, English, Second Foreign Language, Human Science, Law and Economics teachers able to use new methodologies useful to:-Strengthen student’s core competences;-Support their own growth planning an education able to carry the students towards the High School Diploma, focusing on their inclination and ambition;-Help the learning process giving the necessary competences to “learn to learn”, in order to solve problems and necessities with critical spirit and responsibility, aiming at team work. The fulfilment of the project was at the hands of the team appointed by the Head Teacher and the Collective Bodies, in collaboration with the companies identified in the two Nations chosen for the mobility: Spain and Ireland. It has allowed the organisation of 25 mobilities that established the structured course activity on the CLIL methodology in Ireland and job shadowing activity in Spain, the total duration was of 15 days (except 2 days of travel). Thanks to the participation in the educational activities in Ireland, teachers learnt how it is possible to increase the basic disciplines’ contents through the application of CLIL. This method has contributed to increase students’ performance bringing the INVALSI test in the regional and national average. In Spain, the job shadowing activity enabled the teachers to experiment the application of most modern teaching methods, such as competency-based, laboratory and metacognitive learning, necessary to create a learning environment focused on the student’s needs. Both courses have increased language and digital skills, in addition to learning the best practices for collaboration and management of transnational partnerships. This comparison is a fundamental step to lead the High School “Mazzini” into a European dimension, increasingly adapting to an idea of training aimed at international confrontation. The impact obtained by the implementation of “I.D.I.O.M.” is not only found on the improvement of the teachers’ background, but also on the students and the entire staff of the School. It is expected in the long term a footprint on the local community that will benefit from a more important matching between training courses and required professional figures. The High School’s will continue in the undertaken direction, becoming scenario of the students’ professional growth, through the improvement of its team’s competences.
