"The 2017-2019 Strategic Guidelines of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome establish as a priority intervention area the increase of the internationalization of the University.Various interventions are envisaged in this area: 1) to facilitate and support the international mobility of lectures and, in parallel, to create the conditions for foreign lectures and researchers to spend significant periods at the university for teaching and research activities; 2) to foster the international dimension of training, both at the PhD level, both incoming and outgoing, paying particular attention to inbound mobility of foreign students and encouraging Erasmus exchange for UCBM students. To this end, the promotion of mobility within Erasmus Plus pursues such internationalization strategies. In the academic year 2016/2017 the University promoted mobility for study and internship purposes in order to create a network for new agreements and / or consolidation of collaborations. During the a. 2016/2017 no. 9 student mobility for study purposes, with a decrease compared to the previous a.y. motivated by the need of our student body to enhance their training experiences in preparation for the job market. In fact, the mobility of students and / or graduates for Traineeship, no. 19 in total. As for the mobility of teaching staff, no. 4 Mobility by teaching, fewer than the previous a.y. which is undoubtedly due to the implementation of the Visiting and Grant Program, sponsored with University funds, specifically designed to support the international mobility of incoming and outgoing visiting professors, lecturers and researchers. It is therefore expected that these type of mobility will continue to decrease, privileging student outgoing mobility. There were also no. 6 mobility for administrative, technical and health personnel. It should be noted that during the a.y. 2016/2017, in line with the previous one, there was a strong encouragement for the mobility of administrative and medical personnel for job shadowing initiatives and participation in Staff Mobility Weeks organized by foreign universities, in line with a clear ""internationalization at home"" strategy to be implemented following appropriate training of personnel. The level of satisfaction and enthusiasm experienced by the beneficiaries was high, in fact, many staff members continue to show appreciation for international mobility."
