The PERCIVAL project is presented by the consortium made of the public tertiary vocational education institutes (ISIS) “Einaudi Ceccherelli” in Piombino, “R. Foresi” in Portoferraio e “B. Lotti” in Massa Marittima (which signed a network agreement called “A.T.L.A.S. - Alberghieri Toscani del Litorale Area sud) and Accademia europea di Firenze. The project aims at valuing and make tangible the European dimension of VET provisions (concerning hotellerie and touristic reception), giving all participants (LEARNERS) the opportunity to go through an international internship. This would allow them to put their skills and competences to the test and to observe the labour market “from within” in an international context. Not only will they be able to further develop their language skills and technical abilities, but they will also acquire competences with respect to intercultural relations, entrepreneurship and communication. At the same time, the project aims at providing the involved TEACHERS and STAFF with an experience to improve their in-service training outcomes, acquiring competences and knowledge about competence-based learning design, CLIL teaching, design of alternate training, which take into account the local resources, curriculum needs and students’ expectations. The project proposes international internships for 76 students enrolled in 3rd and 4th grade in the different sectors/specialties taught in the Institutes members of the project consortium: tourism, hotellerie, reception services, food and wine, and a number of complementary sectors such as social and healthcare in touristic environments, administration, finance and management of reception structures, maintenance and technical assistance in reception structures. For 15 newly graduates the project proposed longer mobilities, called “ErasmusPro mobilities”, with the aim of enriching their employability profile and support their motivation, especially in cases of school failure or other difficulties. These mobility experiences will be real work experiences/placements lasting 150 days, this improving participants’ chances to find a job. The mobility programmes for 9 teachers will last only 7 days, implying job shadowing and observation at VET providers in the UK, Spain and France. They will have an insight into learning design methodologies (e.g. competence-based design and evaluation; CLIL; laboratory-based learning, alternate training, etc.) so to take back to the Institutes a fresh view of how learning methoodlogies can be innovated and improved. The project implementation will positively impact the addressed target groups: LEARNERS (STUDENTS and NEWLY GRADUATES): Development of key competences; personal development, increased awareness and autonomy, critical thinking, ability to take informed decisions, entrepreneurship; improvement of social relationships in the different contexts (school, family, friends) and prevention of bullying. Employment for newly graduates. STAFF / TEACHERS PARTICIPATING IN THE MOBILITY PROGRAMMES: Improvement of their professional competences with respect to: competence-based learning design; co-design of alternate training (with companies and other labour market actors); design and management of transnational projects. STAFF / ACCOMPANYING TEACHERS: Acquisition of new technical/professional skills and competences; increase of their motivation to participate in international mobility programmes; increase of their awareness about job opportunities in the hosting countries. CONSORTIUM (STAFF and ORGANISATIONS): Acquisition of skills to manage transnational projects and mobility programmes; strengthening of the alternate training programmes; improvement in the capacity to contribute with innovative elements to the design of school curricula; improved use of the EUROPASS CV and MOBILITY tools, benefiting young students and graduates.

"The project “Mobility for STaff and STudents – MO.ST.” is promoted by the Secondary Institute for Education and Vocational Training “Garfagnana”. Located in the town of Castelnuovo Garfagnana in the north-west of Tuscany, it represents an important “educational hub” for young people living in the area which also comprises isolated mountain centres. The Institute gathers four educational and training institutes: Istituto Professionale Industria e Artigianato/IPIA “Simoni”, l’Istituto Tecnico Economico e Tecnologico/ITET “Campedelli”, l’Istituto Tecnico Tecnologico/ITT “Vecchiacchi”, il Liceo Scientifico “Galilei”. In the current 2017-18 school year, 860 students are enrolled. The main project objective consists in improving the Institute’s training provision, adding a complementary component of on-the-job practice and personal development for all addressed learners (students and recent graduates, as well as teachers), giving them the opportunity to improve their training achievements and to better define their employability profile. In particular, for the involved staff (teachers) the mobility experience will contribute to their in-service records adding insight into the professional practice implemented in selected training centres abroad. They will particularly focus on the design and implementation of ""alternance training"" schemes (Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro”), implying curricula design as well as networking with local economic players, third sector and public agencies. Thanks to the MO.ST. project, 40 students attending the IV year will be engaged in an international internship programme with flows directed to the UK, Poland, France and Ireland. For 30 days, they will have direct/in-company professional experience, consistently with the alternance training which must be carried out by all students in secondary education and training. 3 newly-graduates will be involved in long-term mobilities, according to the ErasmusPro scheme. They will spend a three-month placement period at companies located in the UK, deepening their knowledge and competences in line with their qualifications and professional interests. 6 teachers will be engaged in a seven-day-long job-shadowing and an observation period at the premises of VET providers in the UK, Poland and Ireland. It is expected that the Institute, and the community in which it operates, will greatly benefit from the project’s outcomes, with respect to the development of curricula/training provision, project management and organisational advancement, networking at local and international level. The involved learners (students, graduates and teachers) will have an unforgettable experience: not only will it improve their skills and professional/technical competences, but it will also shape their attitudes and ability to live and work in an open and international environment."

"PRO.CO.DE. (PROfessional COmpetences for local DEevelopment) is a two-year international mobility project which has provided for the granting of 48 scholarships to as many new graduates of technical institutes with a computer, electronic and aeronautical orientation, aimed at completing internships lasting 120 days at companies located in Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom. It has been proposed by a national mobility Consortium made up of the Municipality of Baronissi, as Coordinator, by the VETS ""Baronissi"", ""Galilei"", ""Mattei-Fortunato, and"" Guido Dorso "", with a computer, electronic and aeronautical address, from the BCC of Fisciano and the Istituto Iride of Angri (SA), the project idea was born from an analysis of the territorial and sectorial needs, realized by the Consortium members from which it emerged that, in the Campania region, unemployment rate among the highest in Italy, companies operating in the IT, electronic, and lastly also airport sectors, maintain a positive growth trend and therefore represent, for our graduates, a good catchment area. that these graduates, out of the school system, have serious deficiencies in practical-operational skills and transversal skills, especially linguistic, especially when graduates are to work in companies operating in foreign markets. As a result, in the first few months of joining the company, the activity of the newly hired person is rather unproductive. The aim of the project, therefore, was to ensure that, through an internship abroad in companies of the reference sector, the new graduates would perfect their training, achieve the skills and the technical and transversal skills required by the companies that offer them work. , and ultimately, access the World of Work more easily and competently, which in turn, benefiting from young and already qualified human resources, would have seen their performances improved. The recipients of the mobility action were first-class graduates who came primarily from the Consortium's Technical Institutes, selected after participation in calls issued by the Municipality in collaboration with the schools of origin. The project has been biennial and has been selected for new graduates in 2016 and 2017, with selective criteria that have privileged the motivation, the knowledge of the foreign language and the diploma grade, requisites considered essential for undertaking successfully and effectively an experience both electrifying and intense for eighteen-year-olds who, for the most part, have never experienced life experiences far from the family context; experience that, therefore, required tenacity, perseverance and adaptability. The selected beneficiaries, after a phase of cultural and pedagogical preparation concerning the country of destination, and after the signing of the Learning Agreement, have undertaken their internship experience, lasting 4 months, at selected European companies, participating simultaneously and for the entire duration of the internship at the on-line language training course on the electronic platform prepared and made available by the Program. During the internship they were constantly monitored and assisted by tutors, both in Italy and abroad, who evaluated progress and progress in learning at the end of the internship. This allowed the beneficiaries to get back once they were back in the country of origin, the Europass Mobility, the Europass CV, the Passport of the European Languages, the Certificate of participation in on-line language training, with indication of the level achieved, certificates that can be used for entering the world of work. Municipality of Baronissi was the beneficiary of the funding, General Coordinator of the project and contact person of the National Agency, the partner schools were sending bodies, responsible for the selection, referents for the definition of the Learning Outcomes, The Istituto Iride intervened in the dissemination and dissemination of the project results. The BCC was incorporated by Banca Monte Pruno and the subsequent change at the top resulted in delays in taking on the role of sponsorship assigned to the Institute initially. charged, in case of difficulty in ratifying the commitment made by the Bank, the planned awarding of the 4 most deserving trainees through training vouchers at an accredited training body. Thanks to the project, benefits have been obtained on the direct recipients, the new graduates , which have seen consolidated technical-professional, linguistic, practical-operational knowledge, developed relational and organizational skills and increased the sense of European citizenship. Also benefited from the project, the Italian and foreign partners who will develop their Development Plan European Union, and companies that can rely on a more competent workforce."

"“Tecnici in campo” implements the strategic plan for the internationalization of ISIS Sarrocchi (in the January 2015 version and confirmed in the PTOF), considering transnational internships as a key tool for ""contributing to the promotion of a genuine European labor market ""(Recommendation of the Council of 10/03/2014 on a Quality Framework for Traineeships) in which: - Students' outgoing skills meet the real needs of local and international companies; - The skills of their staff are constantly updated and permeated by a European and intercultural dimension. Through the project, the Institute will develop the following two macro-activities for the realization of its internationalization strategy: A) International internships lasting 35 days for 85 students of the IV classes of the mechanical and mechatronic, IT, electronic and electrotechnical sectors, chemical in companies in the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, Ireland. The possible areas of performance and LOs were identified by the partners and cited in the relevant sections C of the Carta VET. The action will respond to the strategy of improving the quality of the educational offer and adequately preparing students for entry into the world of work or university; enhance the certification of skills in the non-formal sector (see internship), improve the personal growth paths of individuals. B) International internships lasting 120 days for 5 Institute graduates in the chemical, information technology and telecommunications sectors. This action will respond to the school's need to respond to a local labor market looking for European profiles. C) 9-day internship for 10 teachers and staff in the guidance and mentoring sector in international training centers in the UK and Poland. This action will respond to the strategy of allowing a different way of ""doing school"" through the continuous training of teachers and ATAs; raise the quality level of students' mobility experiences and their certification of skills. The above mentioned macro-actions will contribute to the goal of consolidating the local, regional and international network between the world of education and the job market. It should also be noted that the Institute, in implementation of the internationalization plan formalized in 2015, has consolidated relations with training centers and international companies and, through the mobility paths of teachers, has created new contacts with companies able to identify quality internship in accordance with the professional figures leaving the Institute. The Institute has consolidated the relationship with local companies, available to participate in the selection processes of candidates and in the final evaluation of the project and its impact. The project management actions correspond to consolidated practices: - Information and selection of candidates and staff through the procedures included in Carta Vet. For the staff the following selection criteria have been declined: experiences related to international mobility 50%, language skills 20%, motivation and impact capacity to return 30%. - Definition of LA in collaboration with international partners - Experiences abroad for students and staff according to the following flows: June 2019: learners (22 United Kingdom, 7 Spain, 8 Ireland, 5 Poland); graduates (2 Ireland) October 2019: staff (4 in UK, 3 Poland, 3 Ireland) June 2020: learners (21 United Kingdom, 8 Spain, 8 Ireland, 5 Poland); graduates (3 UK) - Evaluation of outcomes, recognition and certification of competences and ECVET points. Preparation of Europass certificates and CV review for students and staff. - Dissemination, project evaluation and impact, developing a survey aimed at collecting feedback from students and staff participating in the mobility to be used to reprogram and center the offer more accurately. With respect to the provisions of the internationalization strategy, there are no changes in scope. The primary objective is to improve the professional, linguistic and key skills of all the participants. The secondary objective is to improve the practices and the training offered by the Institute. Both individual and strategic learning objectives for the Institute and for international partners are confirmed. The numbers of the mobility participants have been expanded: 85 students and 10 staff. This year the Institute has scheduled preparatory visits (1 in February and 1 in December 2019) with the aim of getting to know new partners, sharing learning objectives for its learners and establishing intentions. Accompany teachers are expected to support and guarantee the achievement of the above mentioned objectives."
