"The Social Cooperative Society ""Eudemonia"" ONLUS, with the support of the National Union composed of Campania Region, Municipality of Salerno, Municipality of Pellezzano, Sele-Picentini Tourist District, 8 Welfare Associations and 7 High Schools from Campania Region, interested in the project, intended to propose the project action ""Wo.M.En. - Women's Mobility ExperieNce” focused on transnational mobility for learning purposes in the VET framework, approved in the framework of Erasmus+ Project Call of 2017 and ended on July 2nd 2019, project code n ° 2017-1-IT01-KA102-005639, CUP code G57H17000690006.""Wo.M.En."" project was born with the general objective of contributing to the social, economic and cultural development in the regional context. In a dynamic, open-minded and innovative society, strongly inserted in the European and international dimension, it becomes necessary to operate in a European context and to expand the knowledge of European policies and systems. Thanks to the project, it will be possible to plan and implement interventions that will produce efficacy and efficiency on the local social fabric in favour of the employment growth of young women. The project is linked to a social context where the negative effects of the economic and labor market crisis, have been perceived as problems to be faced in a vivid way. The reasons behind “Wo.M.En.” project, exclusively intended to a young female target, derive from the overall figure of female employment (recorded in the 2008-2014 seven-year period) that reflects a strong territorial difference: a significant growth in the Central-Northern regions (+135,000 units equal to + 1.9%) and an important and really ""exceptional"" drop - in the Southern Part of Italy (71,000 fewer units, equal to -3.2%). From the overall view, it clearly emerged that the female question in the Italian labor market has essentially a territorial connotation. The data, collected by the Social Cooperative Society Eudemonia ONLUS, are added to a particularly alarming ""structural"" condition for the South that can be shown by the results of the comparison of female employment rates, before and after the crisis, with the European average. The alarming data concerns young women, within an age range between 15 and 34, whose employment rate in the South is only at 20.8%, over 20 percentage points less than the Center-Northern Part of Italy and 30 percentage points less than the European average. In this context, the project allowed 50 female new-graduates, resident in Campania Region, to live a 120 days internship abroad, carried out in companies, institutions and organizations in Ireland, United Kingdom and Spain, in the following sectors: social, cultural, tourism, volunteering and hospitality. The project has pursued and achieved the specific objectives, in particular:- to improve the level of competences and ""key"" skills for the creation of ""practical"" curricula, useful for the development of the national and European labour market; to allow the strengthening, for all the participants, of highly requested soft skills in the modern labour market, such as problem solving, team working, time management, planning, creative resolution, sense of responsibility and maturity, flexibility, adaptability, open mindedness and inclination to intercultural dialogue;- to create benefits for the youth target in terms of growth of ""professional"" skills, knowledge and enhancement of their potentialities;- to support the integration into foreign working realities and in wider terms, the social integration of the participants in different European countries; to contribute to the improvement of Language Learning and to the ""sectorial"" deepening of the used languages, such as Spanish and English. This also happened thanks to the support granted by the Erasmus + Online Linguistic Support (OLS) platform, which all the beneficiaries benefited from, being able to attend, in e-learning, a language course throughout their stay abroad and measuring the level of specialization achieved by comparing the initial assessment test with the final one; - to contribute to the process of validation and recognition of professional skills, in line with the provisions of the ECVET system, through the provision of recognition tools used at European level such as the Europass Mobility Document, whose official recognition is based on the methods and established timing that are shared in the Memorandum of Understanding, a document signed by the partners who have actively contributed to the project dynamics;- to develop new skills able to improve social integration and in general young women life, according to a gender perspective, that promotes the whole enjoyment of the rights and equality per each person."

"The Technical Institute “Enzo Ferrari”, located in Castellammare di Stabia, has entered, with the project “RA.TE. - RAmpant TEachers” (2017-1-IT02-KA101-036175), a modernization and internationalization process aimed at reinforce the quality of its teaching methods. This process becomes even more necessary because of the territorial context and the high rates referred to the early school-leaving. The data shows, in fact, a high level of dropout that should be the subject of detailed analysis aimed at the identification of methodologies that can be more motivational, attractive and immersive. As a response to these needs and from the screening carried out about the training needs of the teachers, was planned the project “RA.TE.” that allowed 15 teachers to participate in 17 days training activities in United Kingdom. The teachers has attended structural courses (7 participants) and has participated in job shadowing activities (8 participants) acquiring new teaching, linguistic and digital skills, in response to the need to introduce individualized and student-focused learning approaches, optimize the use of new technologies in teaching (skills necessary for the proper development of the laboratory approach) and encourage the acquisition of communication skills in a foreign language. The project objectives have been defined in coherence with the need to pursue an improvement of the teaching that could have a positive impact on improving the performance of the students. Currently, the Institute has achieved a part of the objectives defined in the drafting phase of the project proposal and will continue in the path that will lead it to the achievement of the macro objective linked to the reduction of the early school leaving rate.In particular, the following objectives have already been successfully achieved:-exploration and evaluation of the teaching ""best practices"" for the introduction of innovative learning methodologies using the technology;-achievement of a level of language proficiency equal to B2 for the 15 teachers participating in the activities, essential for the introduction of CLIL methodology in the School; -acquisition of a language level that could allow teachers to face professional discussions and create interactive teaching materials and tools appropriate to students' learning needs. The participants in the job shadowing activities were able to:-acquire and develop the skills necessary for the use of the modern teaching technologies, in order to improve the level of participation of students in the lessons and make them more dynamic and interactive;-acquire strategies and methodologies aimed at combating the growing phenomenon of dropout in ""vocational"" higher education, through the use of communication techniques able to convey the student's attention and make him the protagonist of his own learning;-improve and develop the ability to adapt the teaching methodologies to the specific needs of the class and of the individual student, varying the contents and the techniques according to the learning ability. Participants in the structured course activities were able to:-improve the level of English proficiency in order to facilitate contacts with foreign schools and organizations, aimed at promoting the internationalization of the educational institution;-acquire a greater knowledge of the technical language related to their teaching subject, in order to start the experimentation of the CLIL methodology;-observe alternative teaching methods and also take cue for the development of their teaching techniques.Compared to the European Development Plan, the ""RA.TE."" project has allowed to influence the improvement areas identified as priorities by the Institute, enabling the integration of new tools for teacher training that can directly impact on the following factors:-introduction of new teaching / learning methods and techniques for teaching staff;-increase of the percentage of participation and involvement of teaching staff in professional training activities. The active involvement of teachers who have not participated in the mobility training (involvement that has been started but which represents an activity in progress) will allow the transmission of skills learned abroad in order to generate important repercussions on the training system of I.I.S. ""Enzo Ferrari""."
