With more than thirty years of experience, this is one of Melilla's reference centres in vocational and professional training courses for young students to get into professional careers. We’ve taken part in some former European programmes such as Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig. Our centre has also a long experience organizing students and teachers mobilities and we take part in every local or national project organized with this purpose. Moreover, our centre has got norm ISO 9001 AENOR certificate for Quality Management System in Education, which is revised annually. We have also take part in the Erasmus Plus projects since 2014. We pose a total of 18 learners’ mobility for academic year 2016/18 for students from different courses at Intermediate Level VET Cycles (Ciclos Formativos de Grado Medio): 4 from “Auxiliary Nursery Care” (“Cuidados Auxiliares de Enfermería”), 4 from “Assistance to People in Need of Care” (“Atención a Personas en Situación de Dependencia”), 4 from “Emergency Health Care” (“Emergencias Sanitarias”) 2 from ""Business""(Actividades comerciales), 2 from ""Electromechanical"" (Electromecánica de vehículos) and 2 from “Electrical and Automatic Installations” (“Instalaciones eléctricas y automáticas”). In the hosting enterprises, students will develop activities related to their training programme in their “On the Job Training” part of the syllabus, following the model designed by their tutor teacher based on the National Syllabus. This model states not only the activities to develop but also the final capacities to acquire and the criteria to assess them. We expect this project will increase our learners’ motivation so that they won’t abandon their instruction, we also think it will provide higher expectancies for future learners and a positive point in the student’s Curriculum Vitae which will give him/her a better starting point when applying for their first job. Taking into account nowadays economical problems, we will try to favour our students’ personal and professional qualifications. We also hope to improve the teaching of a foreign language In respect to the staff mobility , we pose 9 mobilities that will promote the improvement of their qualifications so that it will have a positive impact in their teaching practice. Improving quality and teaching methodology. We think that the involvement of our teaching team and our students will work in the benefit of the whole teaching and learning community in our town and it will mark positively our learners’ professional training and eventually, it can result in higher economical perspectives for our town, Melilla."

In addition to providing training support to recent VET graduates for the performance of quality training practices in a working environment in other European countries, through providing them with the tools to face their access to the labour market in the best possible way, it has also been intended to promote among the participants the values that make up the spirit of a common European citizenship through their respective mobilities, as well as the inclusion and social integration of all its citizens. To this end, Logroño City Council created a Consortium made up of 6 local centres that provide professional training and have extensive experience in the field of mobility projects (IES Comercio, IES La Laboral, IES Batalla de Clavijo, Colegio Paula Montal, Colegio Sagrado Corazón and IES Duques de Nájera). The consortium focused the project on a total of 36 young people (finally, the participation was of 35) of legal age and under 35 years old, students of Vocational education and training in one of the formative centers that conformed it, with the purpose that these carried out their Training in Working Centers (FCT) outside of Spain. The professional sectors that were involved in the project were:- Administrative management: 11 participants.- Microcomputer systems and networks: 5 participants.- Commercial activities: 5 participants.- Pharmacy and parapharmacy: 4 participants.- Health emergencies: 3 participants.- Laboratory practices: 3 participants.- Electrical and automatic installations: 2 participants.- Care for dependent persons: 1 participant.- Hairdressing and hair cosmetics: 1 participant.- Nursing auxiliary care technician: 1 participant. The 35 selected participants received an online language course in which they would develop their professional practices in European companies related to their respective areas of study, the duration of which was a total of 85 days.In each of the destination cities, the Consortium had the collaboration of an intermediary partner, thus consolidating the quality of the project: Accademia Europea di Firenze (Italy), Euroyouth (Portugal), Amadeus Association (Austria) and Foyle International (Ireland). In relation to the specific objectives of the project:- Participants have been able to complete the process of acquiring quality training and have been promoted to carry out effective and specialized professional internships abroad.- The lack of connection between the world of business and education and their respective needs has been contested, building bridges and synergies between the two.- A better recognition of the competences acquired by the participants during their respective stays abroad has been ensured.- The participants' entrepreneurial capacity for the creation of more autonomous and sustainable societies within Europe has been fostered.- Young people have been made aware of the opportunities offered by new sources of employment. The results have also been positive for the 35 participants:- They have gained professional experience within their working sector.- They have developed transversal competences (entrepreneurship, digital competences).- They have trained their personal skills (autonomy, sense of responsibility and communication skills, among others).- They have improved a second language (English) or have learned a new one (Italian, Portuguese and even German).- They have enjoyed several social and cultural experiences in an environment different from that of their country of origin.LOGRO-EUROPE III has also offered, as an added value, a programme of itineraries for labour insertion, making available to all participants, on their return from their respective mobilities, the services of employment orientation by the local partners of the consortium.

To create training opportunities in European countries which take-up the offer of professional technical training, delivered in the town council.2. To complete and amplify with practical training of three months duration in a European business, the professional competence and the work experience which the recently qualified specialists in Professional Technical Training received in their originating centres, in order to provide them with the necessary skills which will make it possible for them to make the transition from the field of education and training to the job market. A Coruña is a city in the Northwest of Spain with 246,146 inhabitants. It has more than 11 million square metros of industrial space where you can find sectors such as textile, construction, food, transport, new technologies, the sale and repair of vehicles, the financial sector, legal, insurance and business and renting services, which are their most important economic activities. However, the city stands-out in the tourism sector as being the most visited of Galicia and one of the most visited in the north of Spain. The hotel industry, business, an excellent choice of hotels with high annual occupation, the traffic crossings in clear peak and the oil refineries, now with entrance and exit by the external gate, conclude an economic activity with enormous potential and which demands highly-qualified jobs.Consequently, this project sought to respond to the demand for highly-qualified professionals in these professional sectors and in other emerging sectors. As such, it was aimed at students with an average age of 18 years, recently qualified in Professional Technical Training, which lacked a transnational dimension in their work experience and they needed a highly qualified professional ability, a good level in a foreign language for special purposes in their profession and a mentality and entrepreneurial culture in order to find and produce their own work.Consequently the programme offered 50 mobility placements, to carry out three months duration practical work experience in three different flows, in businesses from five European countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Austria and Portugal. The recently qualified in Technical work participants received, before their departure, 100 hours linguistic training and cultural training in the language of the destination country. This preparation was completed along with 20 hours of specific socio-professional training which was adapted to the professional sector of the destination country. The reference of this institutional project is the strategic European framework “Education and Training 2020” and the results which they wished to achieve were the following: 1. To consolidate the institutional focus towards quality in the training of students in Professional Technical Training of the town based on the creation of opportunities for the acquisition of a high professional ability and a significant command of a second European language.2. To increase the employability of these students, as well as establishing stronger links between the world of work, complementing formal education with the not formal and the informal.3. To update and innovate the teaching of Professional Training in the town, to the power available to the centres to provide direct experience of the key competencies which they demand in Europe in the different professional areas.4. To incorporate in the CV the important number of students taking Professional Training, the transnational components and the international recognition of their professional ability, by way of European certificates (EUROPASS) as well as the command of a foreign language according to the Common European Framework of Qualifications.5. To consolidate the inter-sector cooperation as an effective work tool for establishing a stable and continued link between the world of education, training and the world of work and the consistent joint application of the different synergies.
