    The project SCIENCE is born on the basis of previous projects, always in LLP-Leonardo da Vinci IVT contest, made by the Sarrocchi, and this year it involves all professional profiles of the school (chemical thecnician; construction technician; electronic technician; computing technician; mechanical and mechatronic technician) because of the widespread interest in the mobility proposed in previous school years.It has been developed by the school and matured in the context of Siena area, which has seen in the recent years a deep economic and social development, but also in a European context..The project will contribute to meet the needs of various actors, physical and legal, of the local territory in general: the students of the Institute, many companies in the sectors related to these areas of study, education institutions, public bodies responsible for economic development, education and connection to school and work.The basic need is to train a new generation of experts (connected to the above mentioned profiles), in order to possess the skills needed because of the rapid evolution of technology (including the UE key competence of the language, personal growth, transversal abilities and the professional skills ...) . Therefore we believe that the participants would get concrete answers to the need to update, professionalization, improvment of skills and operational capabilities, through an international internship.More specifically, the aims of the participants, will focus on the acquisition/improvemento of:- skills related to the professional profile (different for each profile) - language and UE key competences (same for all the profiles)- transnversal (same for all the profiles)Objectives of the promoter and the partnership are:- to increase the quality of training- to expand and improve the skills of their students- to make students more employable- to connect the world of school to work in order to meet the needs of the local and European market.- to promote the use of ECVET tools in the recognition of mobility experiencesExpected results include increased training and employability of the participants, an increased efficiency of company partners who may have qualified and updated staff, an improvement of the courses offered by the Institute Sarrocchi in terms of quality and European dimension.The participants will be 70 students (4 with special needs) and 8 accompanying teachers (2 for participants with special needs):The expected flows are as follows:Jan-Feb 2015: Paragon Europe Malta (1 flow): 14 learners Jun-Jul 2015: AIP and Oneco Spagna (2 flows) 14 learnersSep-Oct 2015: ECTARC Galles and InternEurope Belfast (UK) (2 flows)14 + 14 learnersJun-Jul 2016: Globtrain Berlino (D) (1 flow) 14 learners.The project will have a total duration of 24 months.Project partners are: public entities, SME connected to the sectors of the projects, vocational trainingn institutes. For project management Sarrocchi the Institute, in its fifth experience of project management LLP-Leonardo da Vinci IVT will use its tools and instruments of T-TACTIC@SCOOL manual for the management of international internships for schools.

    GAP MONTH had the aim to meet the needs of the reality and job market of the city of Livorno, bringing participants near the world of work and job market.The project involved 20 students, coming from different courses of the schools Buontalenti - Cappellini - Orlando: LOGISTIC AND MARITIME TRANSPORTS, NAUTICAL MECHANIC AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE, CONSTRUCTION SECTOR AND SYRVEYORS, DENTAL TECHNICIANS.Beneficiaries had the chance to increase and develop different kinds of skills, such as:- language skills- personal and key skills like flexibility, self confidence, punctuality, capacity of problem solving, teamworking, capacity to work under pressure and to follow deadlines, authonomy, capacity to adapt to new environment, leadership- technical and professional skills, related to the sector and courses of study, through the internship in private companiesThe promoter had the chance to:- improve its learning offers- improve skills of the staff working at the project (teachers, administration and direction)- improve the partnership, at local and International level- promote the school, its courses and programmesProject was 18 months long and 20 students took part in a short term mobility (about 5 weeks) managed in 2 different flows: - FLOW 1 (June/July 2017) in Belfast, 10 students and 1 accompanying person - FLOW 2 (September/October 2017) in Valencia, 10 students and 1 accompanying personDestinations abroad have been adapted as much as possible to the participants’ needs, working hard with the project partners to satisfy participants’ expectations and to reach the aims of the project, that has been reached as stated by the participants' reports and the satisfaction showed during the dissemination and follow up activities.

    The Magic Job project continues with the mobility experience put in place since 2016 and in line with the provisions of the Polo's internationalization plan. The following strategic objectives are confirmed: - Improve the quality of the training offer through internships that allow all students to complete their education path successfully, preventing abandonment and enhancing the potential of everyone with attention to young foreigners and also to people with fewer opportunities or with disabilities. - Improve accessibility to the job market by equipping students with the right skills to undertake and be able to innovate both in local and international working contexts. Improve the certification of skills and above all the transversal skills as an essential asset for entering the world of work or for the continuation of university studies. The three objectives will be achieved thanks to the realization of the project itself and to the valorisation of the international experiences in the Polo training paths. - Improve and enhance the use of new technologies by establishing online forms for students. This objective will be achieved thanks to the possibility for participants to access training on the OLS platform to improve language skills during the pre-start phase. - Improve the quality of training and the updating of the staff in order to improve the services and quality standards expected, thanks to their participation in the international path - Improve and increase the outgoing career guidance actions for students, through greater synergies with external resources and also with local work services. This objective will be achieved thanks to the preparation activities before the departure, assessment and certification of credits on return. The project envisages, in line with what was planned in the VET CARD application, to give the possibility to 25 students of the IV classes and 10 new graduates of the proposing Institute, to carry out an internship internship experience (35 days for the first and 122 for the seconds) in Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom. In addition, 3 staff members will also be involved, for a 7-day mobility path (+2 days travel) Possible areas of performance and LO for the individual professional figures: -teachers/ staff: widening the knowledge of the recognition and validation systems of the skills acquired in non-formal contexts. -compartment construction-surveyors: ability in the management of the construction site and in the choice of materials with low environmental impact -logistic department-captains: management platform for the management of goods and passenger flows in departure and in arrival - mechanical, electronic and electrotechnical department: use of equipment for the control of onboard propulsion systems, maintenance dental technician: use materials and alloys, have good dexterity, perform graphic representation of the prosthesis. The chain of actions that the proposer will develop for quality management are: - Subscription of the agreement with the host organizations for the individual professional figures (Captains and Machinists, Mechanics, Electronics and Electrotechnical, Surveyors) - Information and selection of candidates through European CV analysis, motivational letter and individual interview - Definition of LA in collaboration with international partners - Pre-departure preparation, use of the OLS platform - Mobility according to the following flows: May-June 2019: 7 beneficiaries in Northern Ireland (5 students, 2 graduates); 6 in Spain (4 students, 1 graduated); 6 in Ireland (4 students, 2 graduates) November 2019: 3 staff in Spain June 2020: 4 participants in Ireland (3 students, 1 graduates), 6 in Spain (4 students, 1 graduate), 7 Northern Ireland (5 students, 2 graduates) - Evaluation of outcomes and recognition and certification of ECVET competences and credits, in synergy with local employment services Europass mobility processing and Europass CV revision Project dissemination and its results Project evaluation and impact. The Promoter has decided to identify 1 companion per flow / country for a total of 3 companion who will be staying abroad 10 days (+ 2 days) and will support the students while entering the company, in collaboration with the international partners. They will verify the quality of the stay and training paths. The graduates will make their own path, under the supervision of the international partner's tutor. Two preparatory visits to the Erasmus PRO mobility are planned for the verification of entering the company and the analysis of the learning objectives, to be agreed with the participant host companies (February 2019 and February 2020)

    The W.I.P project is in continuity with the mobility experience taking place from 2016 and in line with the provisions of the internationalization plan of the Polo. Specifically confirmed the following strategic objectives: -Improve the quality of training through international training programs which will allow all students to complete their successful path of education, preventing dropouts, and enhancing the potential of each one carefully to young foreigners and even to people with fewer opportunities or with disabilities. - Improve accessibility to employment by equipping their students with adequate skills to undertake and capable of innovation and proactive in working both locally and in an international contexts. - Improving the certification of skills and especially transversal skills or soft skills, as an essential asset for the entry into the job market world or to continue their university studies. The three objectives will be achieved through implementation of this project and the enhancement of international experience in the training programs of Polo. Improve and enhance the use of new technologies, setting up online forms for students. This will be achieved thanks to the possibility for participants to participate in the language learning of OLS platform to improve language skills in pre-departure. - Improve the quality of training and upgrading of staff in order to improve services and the quality standards expected, thanks to their participation in the international mobility - Enhance and increase vocational guidance output for students, through greater synergies with external resources and also with the local services (employment centre). This will be achieved thanks to the activities of preparation before departure, evaluation and certification of credits at the returning. The project, expected in line with what was planned in the VET PAPER, aims to give the opportunity to 20 students of classes IV and 10 graduates of the Institute promoting, to make an experience of international internship of 35 days (+ 2 days of travel) for students and 60 days (+ 2 days of travel) for graduates in Spain, Northern Ireland, Portugal and Malta. In addition, will also be involved 3 staff people, for an 8-day mobility path (+2 days of travel) in Spain, Northern Ireland and Portugal Possible areas of performance and LO for individual professionals: -teacher/ staff: broaden the knowledge of systems for recognition and validation of skills acquired in non-formal contexts. —Specialisation environment and territory/surveyors: collaborate in the management of the site and choosing environmentally friendly materials -Specialisation logistics-captains: management of platform for goods and passenger flows, departing and arriving -Specialisation mechanical, electronic and electrical engineering: use equipment tools for the control of propulsion systems on board, maintenance -Specialisation dental technician: use materials and alloys, have good manual, be able to use IT for the graphical representation of the prosthesis The chain of actions that the Promoter will prepare for a quality management are: - Signing of MOU with the host organizations for individual professionals (Captains and Engineers, Mechanical, Electronic and electrical, Surveyors, dental technician) - Information and selection of candidates through the European CV analysis, cover letter and interview individual - Definition of LA in collaboration with international partners - Pre-departure preparation, use of OLS platform Experience abroad for students according to the following streams: June 2018: 9 partecipants in Northern Ireland (5 students, 3 school leavers, 1 staff); 8 in Portugal (5 students, 2 graduates, 1 staff) October 2018: 7 partecipants in Spain (5 students, 2 graduates, 1 staff); 8 partecipants in Malta (5 students and 3 graduates) - Evaluation of the results and recognition and certification of competencies and credits ECVET, in synergy with local employment services - Elaboration of the Europass mobility certificates and review of the Europass CV Dissemination of project aims since the beginning and, at the end, about results Project evaluation and impact. In summary, the primary goal is to improve the professional skills, language skills, and core skills of individuals. Secondary objective is to improve the practices and the educational offer of the proposer structure, making the international mobility as a key element in all the curricula of the Polo students and staff. The Polo has decided to identify one accompanist per flow / country for a total of four companions who stay abroad 10 days (+ 2 travel) and will support the students in joining the company in collaboration with international partners and will check the quality of the living and training courses. The graduates will make their path in autonomy, under the supervision of the tutor of the international partners.

    The Covilhã.Forma consortium was created in 2014 with the goal of giving a response to the will of the five schools of the municipality of Covilha (ES Qta. Das Palmeiras, AFTEBI, ES Campos Melo, EPA Qta. Lageosa and the ES Frei Heitor Pinto). Having the last participants from Covilhã.Forma returned in December 2015, it was considered that were created the conditions to propose a new edition of the project. The consortium Covilhã.Forma II is coordinator by Câmara Municipal da Covilhã, with responsibility to manage the consortium and the project. As in 2014, in this application will only be considered students of vocational secondary or post-secondary level.The main objective of this project is to promote competent employability of young professionals and consequent promotion of human settlement in the municipality of Covilha.In terms of specific objectives we can refer :- Fight against abandonment and school absenteeism promoting new experiences on an international level - Ensure the promotion of national and international projects- Enhancing the quality of school organization and promote the visibility of schools- Promote the Vocational Education as a quality alternative- Promoting social inclusion of young people in socio-economic disadvantage- Ensure qualified professionals in a variety of economic sectors - Continue to develop policies and actions to support young people - Build new networks of local and international partnershipIt contributes for the development of schools and the region, promoting growth and socio-economic development and improvement of welfare of population of Covilhã.To achieve these goals the project aims to develop the following activities:* 34 mobilities to perform an internship program in an international context. Internship/professional (Schools) / 56-90 days / Italy, France, Spain, UK, Czech Rep., Poland and Ireland. For students of vocational education: vocational training courses level 4 and post-secondary technological education, level 5.* 2 mobility to perform a job-shadowing program (CM Covilha) / 5 days / Reggio Emilia, ItalyThe distribution of the number of mobilities per school took into account the size of the schools, which means that ES Campos Melo will do 10 mobilities, while the remaining will perform 6 mobilities. As it happened with the previous project, will include mobility of students in internships and recent graduates in unpaid professional internships.In this project will be used the following INSTRUMENTS / CERTIFICATES:- Curriculum Vitae (CV) Europass- Europass Mobility Document- Consortium Certificate of participation in mobility- Certificate of sending school participation- Internship Certificate- Europass CV- ECVET- For participants who will go to Poland and the Czech Republic, the Language Course Certificate will also be deliveredIn terms of impacts:- Strengthening the personal profile of the participants- Self-esteem improved- Greater openness and connection of participants and community to Europe- Solid European experience, knowledge of European dynamic- New valuation attitudes of human rights, citizenship, gender equality and equal opportunities- Elimination of barriers to the mobility of people and knowledge- Domain strategic European languages- Skills certified in a consolidated training pathFor the technical realization of the job shadowing activity:- Increased motivation- Increased capacity in interpersonal communication and intercultural relations- Specific skills in the professional field- Increased the motivation for projects that promote Lifelong LearningFor schools, City Hall and the Municipality in their interactions:- Technical work with high quality- Better management in the implementation of European projects- Introduction of new practices in the management of Covilhã.Forma- Reducing of the school dropout rate- Recognition of the validity and importance of vocational courses- Definition of new strategies and approach of the training curriculum to an European context- Validation of the certification ECVET used- Strengthen partnerships with companies at European level- Meeting the needs of employers of the region- Contribution to promote the qualification and specialization of the labor force - Contribute to the affirmation and to the economic development of the regionRegarding the international relations of the organizations involved in this project is expected:- Strengthening the partnership networks at European level- Improvements in working methods- New communication channels established- Acceptance of other business/school cultures- Promote the pleasure of learning other languages in the European context- Sharing rigorous and quality criteria’s applied to mobility programs
