The project we want to carry out is meant to answer a need for a reinforced cooperation between European youth organizations and the building of new partnerships between civil society from islands and mainland. This project is designed to meet collective needs of organizations from European Islands and small communities from mainland Europe that hold similar experiences on working in promoting tolerance, acceptance of diversity and with youngsters with fewer opportunities, but have different work practices and methods. The present project proposes a Contact Making Seminar, that will be held in Puerto de la Cruz, between the 1st and the 6th of November 2016, where representatives of 10 European NGOs will get together and try to find ways to work together against discrimination, in its many forms, and increase the involvement of youngsters with fewer opportunities in projects of Erasmus + and others.

"From idea to action. Project lab. 11-16 January 2018. 22 participants from Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania and Spain. Many times we have a concrete idea of the project and we plan to apply for it within the Erasmus + program. But we are not clear about some concepts, we do not know very well how to reflect it in the form, we are not sure of adapting to the philosophy of the program ... and we would need some input or advice to raise the quality of the project and adjust it to the application criteria. In addition, we need reliable and competent partners who share our way of dealing with projects. “From idea to action. Project Lab” aimed at enabling potential applicants to hand in high quality applications in the frame of Erasmus+: Youth (in KA1). It gave participants the chance to develop their project ideas in exchange with trainers, experienced beneficiaries and NGOs and get to know more about specific aims and objectives of the programme and how to write the application form, focusing on the ability of the projects as a vehicle to transmit the common fundamental values to our society. To achieve this we offered an international learning experience that allowed participants to develop their skills and competences in the creation of quality mobility projects. Our objectives were: - Enable potential applicants to apply for an application within Erasmus +: Youth KA1 - Raise quality of projects - Contribute to the participants' understanding of aims and objectives of Erasmus +: Youth and see if their project ideas match these aims and objectives, focusing on the ability of KA1 projects as a vehicle to transmit the common fundamental values to our society. - Facilitate an exchange between newcomers and experienced beneficiaries in order to inspire applicants and receive information based on practices from the field - Provide the chance to meet potential international and reliable partners to develop future projects This seminar was a practical learning experience, built on the specific needs of the participants. Our working methods were based on the principles of non-formal education and sociocultural education. We combined theory with practical learning, experience exchanging and self-reflection. All participants were invited to actively take part in the seminar throughout dynamic and interactive activities, workshops, simulation, case-studies, collaborative work activities, debates, etc. During the project we worked on the complete elaboration of the mobility project, from the first steps when the idea arises until the evaluation of the same. This was the thread of the work that we developed. The participants in this training course were members, volunteers or workers in their organizations and they were willing to learn everything about Key Action 1 and the processes of elaboration of projects that can be developed in that framework and then put it into practice and develop their own activities. As a tangible main result we have some collective creation videos, ""Drops of experience"", that consist of a collection of ideas and advice to be taken into account in each section of a mobility project within the key action 1. It is also a result new quality projects of mobility, with a strong content and transmission of fundamental values common to our society, which created during the seminar and make possible morer participation of young people in international activities."
