VET - Experiences Abroad for Staff and Young graduates in VET"", promoted by Essenia UETP, has foreseen the carrying out of: N°70 mobilities lasting 122 days (120 of traineeship and 2 of travel) addressed to recent graduates that have performed a traineeship in companies located in: United Kingdom, Spain and Ireland; No. 20 mobilities lasting 14 days (12 of training and 2 of travel) addressed to the staff of VET Institutes and organizations. They have carried out the jobshadowing in companies located in Spain. The professional sectors in which the traineeships and the training/job shadowing activities have been performed are: Tourism Fashion Industry; ICT, Communication&New media; Marketing, Commercial Services, Administration Electronics Mechanics/Mechatronics; Socio-sanitary field; Engineering, Environment&Territory. Therefore, beneficiaries of the mobilities have been, respectively, recent graduates that have obtained the school diploma in one of the aforementioned sectors, and staff members from Institutes, entities and VET organizations operating in those fields. The projects was born to meet the training needs- in terms of practical experience- of recent graduates, and to favour the entry (and the permanence, in the case of the staff) in a globalized labor market that requires the mastery and the updating of knowledge, competences and abilities both sectorial and personal as well as transversal (intercultural, linguistic, IT, entrepreneurial). The needs of the VET world and of the job market have been noticed by Essenia UETP starting from the debates occurred during the informative and training meeting that the company periodically realizes at National level. The analysis made highlighted the need of implementing actions of transnational mobility for strengthening and updating competences, both of recent graduates and staff, in the sectors identified in the project. The sectors chosen are: extremely relevant for the Italian economy (tourism, fashion, commerce), constantly increasing (ICT, electronics/electrotechnics, marketing), and in which the request of specific competences has grown (social field, environment and territory). Objectives of the project were: improve the technical and professional skills of new graduates by offering them the opportunity to experiment ""on the field"" what they learned during their school path, by carrying out a traineeship abroad; update the skills of the staff of VET institutions, giving them the opportunity to carry out job shadowing activities within Institutes and companies; reinforce, in both graduates and staff, the EU identity and improve intercultural, linguistic and digital skills, allowing the development of a set of personal and transversal skills indispensable in the current labour market. At the end of the project, there was a positive impact on all participants, in terms of: strengthening of sectorial skills and soft skills, enhancement of the competitiveness of the professional profile and increased opportunities of job inclusion. The carrying out of the project is part of the internationalization strategy of Essenia UETP, that foresees the implementation and the development of activities aimed at improving the quality and increasing the quantity of transnational mobility projects.Besides the transversal phases of monitoring and dissemination, the project has seen the implementation of the following management activities, carried out according to procedures and methodologies already experimented over the years, and that have guaranteed high quality standards: Information and sensitization; Selection of participants; Linguistic and pedagogical preparation; Logistic and practical organization of mobilities; Evaluation of the Learning Outcomes and of the project; Dissemination of project results. The quality procedures adopted are constantly improved and updated, also thanks to the use of new technologies and to the professional retraining of Essenia UETP’s human resources, that occurs also through the participation in training activities held in the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 projects. Over the years, Essenia UETP has further broadened its already wide network of European partners, identifying entities and companies able to offer mobility experiences meeting high quality standards and preferring, among them, the ones of proved experience. All over the National territory relationships with VET Institutes, public and private entities, companies have been consolidated to assure congruence and coherence between the activities proposed and the needs of the users. At local level, Essenia UETP has enhanced the cooperation with the bodies in charge of implementing the approaches and of adopting European methodologies and tools for the certification and validation of the competences (ECVET), in order to make the formal and informal competences acquired during the mobility more spendable on the labour market"

They have had an internship experience in companies located in the following European countries: the United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal. - n. 15 journeys lasting 23 days (of which 21 on-the-job training and 2 on-the-go), for the benefit of subjects belonging to the staff of VET Institutes and entities. These professionals carried out a training activity at companies located in Spain. The area in which the on-the-job training activities were carried out is the tourism sector, understood in the broadest sense of the word: tourist reception, catering and catering, organization of cultural and gastronomic events, marketing and territorial promotion, alternative tourism and eco-sustainable. In addition to the transversal management, dissemination and monitoring phases, the project envisaged the implementation of the following activities, carried out according to procedures and methodologies already tested over the years, and which guarantee high quality standards: -Information and awareness -Selection of participants - Linguistic and cultural preparation - Logistic organization of mobility - Evaluation of the project - Dissemination of results. The project has proved to be consistent with Essenia's internationalization strategy, which involves the implementation and development of activities aimed at increasing the quality and quantity of transnational mobility projects. The project idea was born from the constant contact and comparison with students, new graduates, staff of VET institutes and organizations, companies, stakeholders and public and private institutions. The intense activity of information on learning and mobility opportunities offered by the European programs, carried out at national level through seminars, infodays and meetings, has enabled Essenia to capture the needs of the world of Education and training and the needs of the job market. Starting from this action of comparison and awareness, an analysis of the needs was carried out, from which it emerged that the tourism sector, historically and structurally relevant for the Campania and Italian context, is still configured as a driving force for development, but is a with respect to which actions of strengthening and updating of the professional skills, both of the new graduates and of the staff of VET bodies, to be acquired through practical experiences of internship abroad are absolutely necessary. To ensure that the project met the needs identified and to help make the formal and informal skills acquired by the participants through the mobility period more expendable on the European labor market, Essenia consolidated the network of local partners, also strengthening the collaboration with the bodies involved in implementing the approaches and adopting the European methodologies and tools for certification, validation and recognition of skills (ECVET). In addition to the acquisition of professional skills related to the tourism sector, the project has contributed to strengthening the European identity and improving intercultural and linguistic skills, developing a set of personal and transversal skills that are indispensable for entering an increasingly globalized labor market. be in line with its constant evolution. In fact, Essenia has implemented specific linguistic training courses during the linguistic and cultural preparation phase to strengthen the knowledge of micro-languages. The partnership is made up of both members with whom Essenia has solid relationships, and with new subjects, included in the proposal to encourage the ever-increasing development of the European and international dimension of society. In fact, the project included Portugal, identified in the internationalization strategy as one of the European countries with which to activate synergies. The collaboration with new organizations and organizations has contributed and will contribute to increasing the quantity and quality of exchanges at European level, to promoting the sharing of good practices and experiences, to increasing the transfer and experimentation of innovative methodologies and processes, to the benefit of all the organizations involved and their staff.

S.T.A.R.’s objectives have been: bridging education and the world of work for the professional sectors identified for the traineeships and the job shadowing activities; support people in Europe to gain the skills and experience they need to succeed in today's increasingly internationalized knowledge-based economy; encourage and facilitate a wider participation in the political and social life of the EU. Essenia UETP, project’s Applicant, carried out a demand and needs analysis with the aim to identify the main areas of intervention according to the necessity of develop key-competences, hard and soft skills relevant for employers and for the job market as a whole. The professional sectors identified, both for recent graduates and staff, has been the following: tourism and catering; commercial, marketing, administration and accounting; electronics and electrotechnics, mechanics and mechatronics; social, health and chemical; construction, environment and territory; fashion and textile production; ICT, communication, new media; transport and logistics; agricultural sector; optical sector. Thanks to the demand and needs analysis carried out by Essenia UETP, the transnational mobility experiences have concretely encouraged the strengthening of the key-competences as well as hard and soft skills; encouraged a better dialogue between the needs expressed by the labor market with employees (and future employees) better aware about skills and competences needed and required; promoted the employability of recent graduates; gave opportunity for personal and professional growth; strengthened the sense of belonging to the European Union. Moreover: the positive impact reached with S.T.A.R. project also depends on a regular and rigorous management that covered all project phases: proposal, implementation, dissemination. They have been: information and awareness; selection; linguistic, pedagogical, intercultural and professional preparations; logistics and organization; dissemination of results; evaluation of impact and learning outcomes. The activities carried out have promoted not only the achievement of the highest quality standards and therefore the reach of a positive impact on all participants directed involved but, also, a positive impact for the partnership as a whole, thanks to: further collaboration and relations between Essenia UETP and various European partners; consolidation and enhancement of good practices defined in previous partnerships of Erasmus+ KA2 projects (Essenia UETP was coordinator or partner of such projects); adoption of methodologies for certification, validation and recognition of skills (ECVET methodology).
