"The ""Urban Garden"" project has made it possible to share the different experiences acquired by the participants in the urban gardens carried out in their respective places of origin, while at the same time obtaining basic knowledge on ecological agriculture and the efficient use of natural resources. For this we selected the course modality, since it allowed us to give the necessary previous training so that the participants could construct and maintain their respective urban orchards in each one of the regions of the associated entities. The main objectives that have been achieved thanks to the realization of this project are:- Raise awareness of the importance of the efficient use of natural resources.- Raise the awareness of the participants about the correct eating habits and the search for a healthy diet, based on the organic production of food.- Create a written document that serves as a guide that specifies the steps for the creation of an ecological garden anywhere in Europe. At the same time, a food calendar has been established which shows the different foods that can be consumed naturally in each of the regions of the participating countries. In addition to these main objectives, the following tools have been generated:- Tools necessary for the correct dissemination of the techniques of organic farming learned.- Tools necessary for the efficient use of natural resources when creating a garden. The development of this initiative, with participants of urban origin by the three partner entities, has emphasized the importance of developing the primary sector (agriculture) based on concepts such as food quality and the natural and ecological production of food . The dissemination of the results obtained will contribute to the development of healthy individuals, both physically and socially. The realization of this project has allowed the participants to acquire knowledge about new agricultural techniques, expanding knowledge about the primary sector in innovative economic and technological processes. The profile of the participants has been young people of middle class, students and residents in a European country."

"Schools are places for acquiring knowledge and if they include a good citizenship policy and motivation, they can be perfect for growing responsible adults willing to participate actively in society and build a healthy democracy all around. In this project we dealt mainly with the teachers and other staff members of schools in order to share a taste of non-formal education methods and tools to improve the learning experience of the young people. We discovered experiential learning and many games, which could be very powerful tools to gain new competences (skills, knowledge and attitudes). Debriefing and facilitating were be key parts of the success of these tools. As a result of the project we had many intangible outcomes (mainly the raise of quality of the activities developed by the participants and the partner organization in the future) and also tangible, such as new tools adapted to the specific needs and skills of the participants, and all those new tools were disseminated through the different communication channels (Facebook, websites, twitter, Salto-youth Toolbox...).A group of 9 partner organizations from 8 different countries, sending 2-3 participants each and 2 trainers met in Latvia (Marupe) during 9 days and shared their cultures, learned from each other and discovered all the possibilities of ""GAINING FROM GAMING"".Our aim in this project was to share experiences and develop competencies on using GAMES in non-formal settings not only as an element of fun, but as an effective learning opportunity for youth. We achieved it using Experiential Learning approach and counting on the active involvement of participants at all stages of the project. The intercultural side of the project was very important in order to achieve high quality results, each country had different perspectives of games in society and they brought interesting approaches to the tools. The main impact was on the participants and partner organizations, as they improved the quality of their daily work, and this will have big multiplier effect, as all of them are active workers with youth aged 13+.The long-term effects are a new generation of citizens, engaged and empowered in their communities, and also future projects among the partner organizations in different educational fields."

"The idea of this project is motivated by the European social alarm that is occurring in the formal and informal education due to the increased number of peer harassment (one in four young people suffers harassment or violence from their peers / friends).Around 600,000 teenagers between 14 and 28 commit suicide every year in the world, a figure, which at least half of all cases, has any connection with bullying; being the European countries hardest hit by this phenomenon, accounting about 200,000 suicides per year.As the number of youth bullying rapidly increases, measures must be taken to try to solve this big problem, affecting even the families of the aggressors and attacked and also the staff working with young people not knowing how to address this great social phenomenon.Several different risk behaviors can affect the development and welfare of our youth. Among them we can mention: the bullying and school violence, alcohol and drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, discrimination and exclusion of groups. The prevention of risk behaviors is an important need in our work with young people, and it is relevant to approach it and know how to help young people and prevent them.Objectives:- Improve and renew the tools for trainers, educators, monitors in youth prevention - Provide information on bullying to workers, families, young people and society in general- Sensitize and educate young people, teachers, coaches, trainers about the need of prevention.- Exchange realities regarding the topics of the project in the participating countries.- Share experiences and best practices with other trainers, educators, monitors.- Become familiar with different tools and methods of non-formal education for prevention and work with youth.- Encourage the establishment of anti-bullying and anti-violence policies.- Develop different activities for personal development and skills of the participants.- Hold presentation about and encourage cooperation in the new Erasmus + ProgramProfile of the participants:People working in the field of youth, training, teachers, monitors, youth workers that their daily work is to help the young people, improving skills, and motivate every day. Will take part 24 participants from 8 Countries (Spain, Bulgaria, France, Romania, Hungary, Estonia, Czech Republic and Greece)Results:Web-blog of the project to put all materials, project results.Facebook group to share all the materials and exchange of experiences with the participantsFlick, where we will have all project photos.Youtube channel, where we will put all videos created during the project.Twiter, we will report what we do during the project, pictures, information, etc.Public media. Earth and environment require help, but is not taken seriously enough. In our opinion, most of what we can do for the environment is conscious and green living in our communities, in our home. For this reason the exchange of 9 days, August 31 to September 8, 2016, in Alicante, 30 young people from 5 different countries (Czech Republic, Iceland, Germany, Hungary and Spain) participate in the exchange. - Aims to show young people what their ecological footprint is. In addition they will realize that everyone can do something to protect the environment, to stop climate change. They can discover the activities they can do to help our country to reduce its footprint. The program is a combination of different activities which are connected with the ecological footprint so they touch five topics: housing, food, transportation, shopping, waste. During these activities young people can acquire new experiences, learn new skills, make new friends, contacts and have an impact on the local population and know each other's culture. A lot of different methods of non-formal learning will apply: games, workshops, outdoor activities, group work, discussion, role play, round table and exchange of ideas. We will emphasize and provide space for learning and sharing of realities. We want to show to all the young participants, the environmental protection, ecological footprint and for this reason is why we will carry out different activities, workshops, lectures and a video that will be the end of the exchange to motivate people to live green and help our planet. We will also create a booklet comparing the results of the calculation of the ecological footprint of participants / countries and participants' ideas on how to reduce their footprint and posters made by the participants, which will be presented in the dissemination activity and awareness we will make the last day. After this exchange we hope that more people start to believe that we should care for our planet more than we do, to be aware, first locally (their homes), start recycling and be greener daily.

We face the reality young people today consume a lot of time on the computer, TV and video games, there are warning statistics and analysis. These activities limit a lot their learning experiences. This does not mean we should limit to one hundred percent access to these diversions, but we have to generate alternatives that are educational and enriching. Indoor games/activities provide an activation of the five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. The urban environment and daily routines keep us from varied and exciting sensory experiences for the development of our sensibilities providing and supporting attention, overview, comfort and relaxation. The training course will be hosted in Ostrava from 24 - 31 March 2015 and will bring together 21 youth workers from 7 different countries. The training is aimed at improving competences of trainers, facilitators and team leaders on participatory education through playing games and activities and to motivate young people at local and at international level to get involve as active society members within the concept of participation and citizenship.A wide range of training activities will be carried during the training course as dramatizations, presentations, workshops, small interactive exercises , practical sessions and videos with other tool used in the training course methodology.Among results of the project belongs E-book with all the materials used and created during the trainign course and new methods, activities and techniques developed by the participants, disseminationa and visibility videos , games, workshops.
