    """Healthy and active"" project is dedicated to the health and activity of young people and youth workers - teachers, social workers, animators, volunteers, and promoting a healthy lifestyle and care for the environment.Training, which is the main activity of the project, will be held from 15-20 September 2015 in Poland, Wisła.Main aim of the project is to develop professional and personal skills of youth workers and thereby improve the quality of work of adults, young people and volunteers for Youth;Additional objectives are:- To develop good eating and motor habits- To implement physical activity in work with young people- To increase attention of a healthy lifestyle choices and balanced personal development- To raise awareness of global interdependencies, complexity and diversity of the world- To improve communication skills of the participantsParticipants of the project about good eating habits, motor habits, consumer activation and workshops in the field of public health, physical activity and ecology will arrive in four groups representing non-governmental organizations from Italy, Slovakia, Romania, Great Britain, Greece and Poland, 24 people.Participants, while learning good habits by doing, will participate in the morning and evening sessions of gymnastics, art workshops in the art of waste processing, simulation games and case studies (also in the debates and mini-lectures) dedicated to diet, consumer choices and ecology. Participants will practice social activism methods in working with young people and will plan a mini-projects devoted to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and care for the environment in their local communities.The resulting scenarios of local initiatives will be made available on the websites of the organizations involved in the project and portals dedicated to ecology and creative activities with youth and for young people.The project will contribute to the growth of competence, and indirectly to raise the standard of quality of the work of youth workers, expand the methodology of working with young people and promote a healthy lifestyle along with the care for the environment. In the long term effects of the project will improve the effectiveness of the active promotion of young people's attitudes, substance abuse prevention and combat obesity.Think globally, act locally!"

    What is leadership and why do we need it? Leaders help themselves and others to do the right things. They set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. But leadership means different things to different people around the world, and different things in different situations. The Training course ?Leader almighty? was held in Pi?czów, Poland between 16-23 August 2015 and brought together 24 participants from EU countries. It was an opportunity to understand what leadership is and what this word should mean to us. Moreover it was important in order to create a cadre of trained youth workers who developed appropriate skills to manage others. The main aim of this training was to equip the participants with competences in terms of leadership and entrepreneurship. Through the designed as such training course the learners developed practical skills of working with groups and handling group process, communication and negotiation, youth project management, coaching. Through the supporting learning process the course aimed to develop entrepreneurial leadership qualities of participants as important aspect to be brought on the job market. The project proposed to foster the active involvement of young people in society and inspiration to act as multipliers of the gained knowledge in their local communities. The project on leadership and pro-active civil society attitude was be based on tools and methods of non-formal education such as simulations, role-playing, open space discussions, brainstorming, ice-breakers and reflection groups. The used methods were not only helping participants to develop leadership competences but also to strengthen and widen their soft skills.

    Violence in schools is not uncommon and is also a reflection of social conditions. They feel that bullying among young people and society is not considered seriously enough. Due to the intimidation comes to social deprivation and exclusion weak. Victims of bullying are in most cases confronted with social exclusion. If we want to stop the bullying of young people, we will have to learn how to recognize and draw attention to the different types of bullying.The Youth Exchange is that young people through innovative methods detect, treat and find solutions to prevent violence among young people. 20 young people from Slovenia, Latvia, Croatia and Slovakia, aged between 13 and 15 years, 7 days discovering the studied and searched for solutions to prevent violence. Through writing the script for the stage play and video, young people learn how to recognize different types of bullying. Use the innovative methods for integrating young people with fewer opportunities. The penultimate day of the young people performed a drama work and play video where they show that bullying is not cool. The last day he made a website on Facebook and YouTube, where the video is posted.

    The project Better Start Coaching is a youth-mobility project, action K1 for youth workers from Erasmus+ Programme Countries and promoted by Tkalnia Rozwoju organization. This training course which will took place in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, lasted 6 days (7 including travel days) and had the aim of preparing youth-workers to become coach for youth. The broader context was set to become a coach for youth employability and vocational development integrating non-formal learning and coaching methods. The objectives of the project are: 1. Develop the coaching skills of youth -workers trough coaching and non-formal methods. 2. Improve the knowledge about the coaching process and provide KNOW-HOW in integrating it in non-formal education approaching ICF standards ( International Coaching Federation).3. Create a space for cultural exchange and learning on youth coaching topic. 4. Create and test a new coaching method (photo-coaching) that can be used by youth workers as coach;5. Create and maintain a constant European network of youth-workers as coach, as important resources for European youth projects. The training content was based on coaching tools and non-formal methods in order to help participants develop their know-how in using coaching in non-formal context. In order to assure the development of coaching skills, theory, practice and reflection was made in the working sessions. Just to give some examples, methods as: Wheel of life, SMART, Swot analysis, Open space, Human Library, Case studies, Pear learning, Role playing will be used. We had sessions of active listening, setting goals, asking questions, coaching tools, and reflection. The requested profile was to be youth-worker, have previous experience in working as trainer, facilitator, leader or project manager, and have strong motivation to become a coach for youth. Also, knowledge in psychology and human behavior was an important advantage. Participants from more Erasmus+ program countries were expected. We expect the project will have a real impact in improving youth workers knowledge about the coaching process, developing important coaching skills and transmit an attitude of acceptance and support. Also, the impact would happen at the practical level, as people shall feel empowered to use coaching in non-formal context with youth. As results, for dissemination we created motivational materials about what coaching is, what advantages it can bring, or what it is like to be a coach. Also, participants testimonials should have an impact on people in general in order to make them take part of the participant's experience. Moreover, we started working on a Handbook of coaching tools, and invited all participants to have a contribution in proposing and testing methods.

    "Training ""Coach vs youth worker"" was a project aimed to increase quality of youth work, through developing competences of youth workers form partner and cooperating organizations. Training had happened between 17 and 23 of October 2015 in Złocieniec, Poland, and involved 24 participants from 6 countries, such as: Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Greece, Estonia and Turkey.Participants under support of qualified trainers learned about coaching methodology and deepened knowledge about interpersonal competences, as well practiced coaching techniques, remaining loyal to nonformal education and youth work. Important elements of the training was to learn the basic techniques and coaching methods as the GROW model, OSCAR model, Solution Focus model, and skills related to asking questions, open communication, visual thinking and the process of debriefing and evaluation.Equally important in working with young people have been known methods of conflict resolution, effective communication methods: paraphrasing, Statement I, active listening, mentoring. Participants also deepened on their potential by learning to use tools such as SWOT analysis, Johari Window, constructive feedback, debriefing.Youth workers, educators, trainers, pedagogues prepared themselves to professional youth work, by taking active part in workshops, exercises, simulation games, practical activities about coaching, group process, methodology of work with ""difficult youth"", motivation and communication. Participants got set of practical information and tools, which allow them for much better accessing to youth, supporting their personal and social development.Additional value of project was involvement in actions representatives of local organization, which cooperate with project partners. Results of the project are coaching tools and network of youth workers, working on professionalization of youth sector, supporting each others and all interested in coaching and youth work itself."
