The MODI project will identify and largely resolve barriers on confined areas and on public roads for SAE L4 CCAM vehicles on the corridor from Rotterdam to Oslo, and demonstrate the solutions. Coordination is a central element of development in this project: it enables early integration of CCAM in current logistic vehicle operations, adding more efficiency benefits for logistics companies and thus creating an attractive path to deployment. Coordination is also needed for smart traffic management in the public domain. The project comprises five different use cases, each describing a part of the logistics chain. It identifies what is already possible on SAE L4, and what is not possible yet. For the public roads, the project will focus on understanding and overcoming the regulatory barriers and PDI shortcomings on the motorway corridor with road authorities and OEMs of the project involved. In cocreation with all stakeholders the project will search for an optimal combination of physical, digital infrastructure and OEM equipment, easy to implement and low in costs for all parties. In addition to the demonstrations, the project provides detailed business models for the logistics sector, demonstrating that the use of CCAM can lead to greater profits, especially when vehicles drive on a coordinated way. The consortium consists of 8 industry partners: OEMs, ITS solutions providers, test centers and logistical companies; engineering and research providers with 4 RTOs, 3 universities; and associations of logistical companies, Tier 1 companies, ITS service providers. Complemented with road authorities and cities/regions along the corridor, representing the complete value chain. A strong stakeholder group is committed (signed LoS).

The project aims at developing a peer-to-peer online platform for SECAP development that can be used for multiple public authorities in joint planning and implementation. This will enable the integration of different administrative levels and geographical planning areas as well as enhance the cost efficiency in the entire planning and implementation process based on economic of scale and closer cooperation and exchange. In addition regional PentaHelix Task forces will be established, involving key stakeholder and target groups, that will serve as a driver for a wider scope of the SECAPs as well as bringing in valuable insights and identification of potential measures, system solutions and a better understanding of drivers and barriers for a more sustainable society as a whole, in each specific region. This PentaHelix approach will be developed and tested in 8 pilot municipalities in Norway, Croatia, Belgium, Spain and Latvia. Each region is unique in terms of demography, economy, urban development, climate conditions and industrial/ businesss structure. Together these pilot areas consititutes a large number of inhabitants and potential mitigation of CO2 and energy savings. To further enhance the impact of the project a broad replication and dissemination strategy and actions will be rolled out in many countries in the EU. This will be mainly carried out towards neighboring regions as well as the network of ERRIN with it's many member organisations. Targeted dissemination actions will be implemented. 11 partners from 5 countries will do this during 36 months.

These include educational issues, the debt and economical crisis, the refugee situation and again upcoming nationalism. They work out the situation in the participating countries and discuss where Europe is heading. In addition intercultural exchange is an objective of the Baltic Youth Exchange. By meeting young people from the Baltic Sea region understanding, tolerance and the idea of an European identity should be promoted. Participants are also shown possibilities how they can contribute to the political development of their region as well as Europe at local and regional level. Due to this, it also supports democratic life in Europe and active citizenship. Furthermore it strengthens the cooperation between countries in the Baltic Sea region and other partner countries. The common experience in the group and the communication in English also promotes teamwork and communication skills. The work on the topic is done with a mix of methods from ice-breakers and warm-ups to group exercises and simulation games. Moreover, the issue is processed in different small groups and plenary discussions in different settings. So we plan an Action Bound rally, during which the participants will deal with the different aspects of the topic. To develop a group feeling we are planning in cooperation with our partners different experiential education communication and cooperation exercises. In addition, various ""outdoor activities"" planned. All participants receive a ""Youthpass"" certificate."

The systemic CE solutions will integrate the two main elements of TREASoURcE: stakeholder engagement demonstrations (SE-DEMOs) and key value chain demonstrations (KVC-DEMOs). The DEMOs support chosen territory clusters in introducing CE practices to their citizens and businesses to help 1) decouple from use of fossil virgin resources and excess raw material consumption, 2) increase resilience (self-sufficiency, value chain security, environment and nature), 3) decrease GHG emissions and contribute to achieve climate neutral economies. Climate change, environmental degradation and loss of biodiversity are major global threats that require urgent collaborative actions across industry, sectors, cities and regions, communities and citizens. Half of total GHG emissions and more than 90 % of biodiversity loss come from resource extraction and processing. Global consumption of materials, especially biomass, fossil fuels, metals and minerals are expected to double by 2060 and annual waste generation is estimated to increase by 70 % by 2050. TREASoURcE focuses on demonstrating the CE solutions in cities and regions located in the Nordics (Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark), and they will be replicated in the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Poland and Germany (of the Baltic Sea Region). The combination of the cities and regions will enable large reach and bigger impact and boost the replicability and scalability potential of the CE solutions. A common issue of the regions’ material circulation is low and decentralised material volumes and resulting challenges in feasibility, and bottlenecks have been high risk investments due challenges in securing sufficient feedstock (quality and quantity). However, regional strengths lie in ambitious climate and environmental targets.

Human Rights Youth Organization,Vestfold fylkeskommune,BIDERBOST BOSCAN & ROCHIN SLFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2017-2-ES02-KA105-009735Funder Contribution: 6,275 EUR"""Building Political Efficacy through Digital Media Literacy” (Political Efficacy) is a project that sought two primary objectives. First, provide young Europeans with digital tools for digital media literacy. This, in turn, allowed young people to be able to: (1) distinguish true facts from ""fake news""; (2) critically evaluate the contents of the media; and (3) counteract media pressures (to smoke, drink alcohol, use drugs, have premature sex, not feel comfortable with your body). The second objective was that, with those digital tools of media literacy, young people became civic and political agents of their localities (Political Efficacy). To achieve this, the youngsters learned to: (1) use and promote community dialogue; (2) act as ""civic journalists"" that contrast the contents of the media; and (3) to produce their own audiovisual content to achieve the two previous points. The project was carried out in three phases: preparation, youth exchange and follow-up. In the first phase, the young people had a first contact with the contents of the project and prepared for the exchange. In the second phase, the young people had the opportunity to be in Salamanca and, for a week, to act as civic journalists of this city and develop their civic and media literacy skills. In the third phase, the young people organised small screenings in their localities, where they consolidated the skills learned in the two previous phases. The methodologies used were non-formal education, experience-based learning, active participation, community dialogue and YouthPass. Finally, it should be noted that the young participants produced 4 short films about the feelings of citizens about the European Union (https://bit.ly/2Nr7haw). Likewise, the project designed two eBooks (handbook and book of experiences), a Photo-Album (https://bit.ly/2Nizv74) and a web page (https://buildingpoliticalefficacy.eu). This allows other interested parties to know and benefit from this project."
