The project named “A Wake Up Call: Don’t Forget Your Cultural Arts” is designed to help the local art “quilting” regain its long time forgotten importance and value by raising awareness about it. In the basis of local arts, we aim to promote social enterpreneurship and Erasmus+ program to our participants and target groups. There will be 7 participants including leaders from each partner countries Azerbaijan, Portugal, Georgia, and Armenia, and 9 participants including leaders from the hosting country Turkey. The project will take place in Trabzon between 24 August – 3 September 2018. Quilting Master Yaşar who devoted its life to this local art, will be presenting and teaching us each and every stage of quilting in a demonstrative way. With his guidance, our participants will be practicing things they learn each day and quilt their own work. In addition, our participants will be recording videos of all these sessions to revive a local art and increase the visibility of Erasmus+ program. The videos will be showing the whole process of quilt production and details of quilting in a funny way and through a social media contest, these videos will be shared in participants’ social media accounts and reach thousands of people. Due to the fact that there are very few young masters of this local art and the fact that old masters are retiring, this art is in the edge of extinction. Therefore, we want to attract people’s attention to this old local art so that it can regain its value and continue to exist in the hands of new generations. With this project, we aim to remind the importance of not only quilting but also all local arts which are unfortunately forgotten. Our participants will expand the effects of our project by sharing the knowledge and experiences they will be getting from our activities with their close circle and other members of their organizations. The participants will have the opportunity of acquiring extensive knowledge about Erasmus+ and social entrepreneurship and through the new friendships that they will establish in our project, they will be able to build new partnerships. This way, they will have the self-confidence to realize new project ideas. They will also have the opportunity of presenting their own cultures in our cultural nights as well as they will be able to learn new things about other cultures. Through the evaluations at the end of each day, we will create a democratic atmosphere in which each participant can have their say. This way, we aim to take their ideas into consideration and carry out a more successful project. Through the visits to cultural and natural sites of our city and through the interview with the local public, they will have the chance to know our country and culture better.

"The project ""Gender Unpon a Time II"" aimed at supporting the development of inclusive groups, communities and larger societies towards acceptance of diversity, especially themes related to gender roles and expression. Culturally and historically defined traditional gender roles, can threaten free expressions of one’s gender identity, provoking possible exclusion and discrimination of people who reject these roles, at the same time blaming people who identify with traditional gender roles. Therefore, the main aim of the project has been to provide participants with processes of exchange and confrontational occasions among different cultures, in order to raise awareness on the socially constructed nature of traditional gender roles. Our aim has been achieved by using non-formal education methodologies. The specific objectives were:-to create a safe space of exchange and discussion to raise awareness and gain knowledge about other cultures and other countries, developing active participation and citizenship (through getting to know each other activities, team-building and group work);-to deepen concepts related to gender roles and expression (through group work and presentations or expert input such as the gender bread kit);-to recognize and deconstruct stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination about gender and sexual identity (through simulations, group work and expert input);-to use theatrical tools and methodologies to enforce one’s empathetic attitude (through embodied learning, spacial awareness, voice exercises);-to share similarities and differences of the social construction process of traditional gender roles (through group work, presentations and theatrical tools);-to spread knowledge of the Erasmus+ program (through expert input, group work and presentations). The project hosted 2 activities with in total 44 participants. More in detail the young people were: aged between 19 and 30, interested in gender related topics and to experience an intercultural exchange, willing to try to communicate in English and motivated to become multipliers for the outcomes of the exchange. The group leaders, were: aged between 25 and 37, active an non-profit organisation and/or the local community, interested to promote the general topic, able to communicate and provide language support in English and able to participate in both activities. The project activities were:-an Advanced Planning Visit held in Noordwijk aan Zee, which gathered the group leaders representing the partners and a youngster from their respective communities, participants who were already involved in the development of Gender Upon a Time from an early stage. The APV took place between the 11-14th of February 2018 and aimed at analyzing the local and national contexts of the youngsters, the partner NGOs and the competences and expertise present in order to fine tune the full exchange programme and remaining tasks. -a ten-day Youth Exchange held in Alpignano from the 5-14th of April 2018 which aimed at reflecting on traditional gender roles in Europe and the Mediterranean area, raising awareness on their socio-cultural nature, in order to deconstruct the idea that they are intrinsic. The participants got a chance to reflect on their own position in relation to traditional gender roles and discovered new tools to express themselves and create outcomes through non-formal methods using creative expression and storytelling. The organised activities have been participant centered. Working methods were varied and interactive in order to ensure a good educational flow and a balanced programme. Impact and benefitsThe direct beneficiaries of the activities were the participants, especially the group leaders and youngsters who took part in the APV. They were able to take part in an e-course on training and facilitation as preparatory activity leading up to the exchange. At least 10 participants were able to acquire and improve various educational methods and tools in a structured way. All participants have had an opportunity to experience non-formal education with youngsters coming from different countries and different cultural backgrounds. Enabling them to gain awareness, new perspectives and competences on sensitive topics. The process enforced their empathetic attitude and formed a first step for some and a continuation of others to their personal growth and their attitude as active citizens. Also offering participants a real and fair 'getting to know' of a part of the world that has an distorted image in the media. The personal stories and experiences also contribute to less friction between people from these different worlds and gives all of us alternative, less radical ideas and a story to share and spread. Using our tools and best practices to multiply our core message in activities, events and meetings in various local communities in the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Italy, Palestine and Jordan."

"<< Objectives >>With this project, we aim to introduce orienteering sport to local young people in our country and partner countries and inform them about the benefits this sport provides. Through orienteering activities, they will improve their teamwork and competitive spirit, commit to the motto ""Who live healthy, thinks healthy"", improve their mental ability of problem-solving that will later help them in their daily and professional life and improve their life quality by including sports activities in their daily routine.During the mobility, we will meet with all the participants every night to evaluate the daily activities and the project. We will do this activity not only for evaluation but also to let participants have an impact in the project, take responsibility and feel as an active part of the project. Our project schedule emphasizes the importance of introducing different cultures and increasing cultural awareness and tolerance. For this reason, every country is given one night for each to introduce their culture instead of only one night which combines all the cultures. Our project has mechanisms through which participants can express their ideas and opinions freely and socialize easily. It encourages them to be respectful and tolerant towards differences and lets them discover new cultures. Objectives that we want to reach with our project are the following: 1.To promote participation in sport and physical activity as a tool for health and well being to participants and local communities and enable them to include sport in their daily routine.2.To show the importance of teamwork and solidarity in order to be successful. 3.To show the importance of sports as a way to get rid of the stress of daily life. 4.To promote integrity and values in sports between participants(Fair Play, Doping, Betting, Handicapping)5.To fight against discrimination, racism, violence in sport and daily life and promote social inclusion and equal opportunities in and through the sport.6.To show the impact of Covid-19 on professional/amateur sport and sports infrastructure.7.To show that participants from different countries can work together in the same team and for a common goal.8.To increase the basic skill and competency level through activities to be carried out on the subject. 9.To increase the importance given to amateur sports and athletes in our city and all partner countries. 10.To ensure that all participants have the competence to manage a small sports tournament.11.To promote volunteering in sports and recognition of these volunteering activities. The non-subject objectives of our project are:1.To contribute to the intercultural dialogue and understanding by empowering young people to explore each other's cultures.2.To popularize foreign language learning through intercultural communications.3.To encourage participants to actively participate in civic society and democratic processes through meeting with local authorities.4.To use orienteering to explore local cultural, historical and natural objects and through that promote our country as a touristic destination.5.Breaking the prejudices of the participants towards our country and the local people towards foreigners through this meeting.6.To ensure an environment where participants can make new friendships through activities carried out with local people.7.To encourage the development of new partnerships and Erasmus+ projects in the future. 8.To raise awareness of EU common values and Erasmus+ program.Throughout our project, we will use non-formal and informal learning methods to address the topic. Through that, participants and leaders will learn new methodologies to reach out to young people. Also, each country team will be responsible for leading some of the sessions. Therefore, they will get to practice multiple NFL techniques, improve their public speaking, organizing and leading skills. Through that, our participants will become more capable youth workers and apply this experience and learning techniques in their future volunteer youth work back in their associations. Also, we aim that new partnerships will develop through friendships created in this project. This will lead to development in the new youth projects in the future. In the duration of this project, we will promote Erasmus+programme to our participants and local people. Therefore we will educate them about opportunities Erasmus+ provides and inspire them to be more interested in youth work.<< Implementation >>In our project, which has been designed as youth exchange, there will be partners from 5 different countries in total. The partner countries of the project that we will host as Spain, are going to be Czech Republic, Latvia, Turkey and Portugal. There will be 6 participants, including the leader, from each country and 30 participants, 30 in total. We will do our project activities on 10-17 July 2022 in Santa Cruz de La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain.Through the youth exchange project called ""Run to Explore"", we are aiming to teach orienteering sport practically to our participants and local people, particularly young people, raise their awareness about this sport and the importance of doing physical activity in daily life. The stages of our 8 days schedule are the following: Meeting, icebreaking and team building activities, activity to raise awareness about climate changes, teaching participants orienteering sport both practically and theoretically, doing orienteering in the city center together with the local people, developing ""home orienteering"" game, informing participants about Erasmus+ program and evaluation activities. After we finish the training about orienteering sport, we will have 2 orienteering activities on 2 different days. One of them will be in the city center, and the other one will be in historical places for participants to discover them. The local people will also be directly included in the activities. We will have some social activities during our project, such as cultural nights in which every country will introduce their culture, movie night with popcorn, discovering the historical places in the city and the city center, BBQ night and Erasmus+ youth program introduction activities.<< Results >>Our project has short-term benefits such as:-integrating orienteering sport into our participants' daily lives, -promoting healthy living among young people,-promoting good sportsmanship among the participants-to encourage intercultural dialogue and increase intercultural through participants and their interaction with each other and local people,-development of new partnerships between our partners.Besides, the long term benefits of our project can be stated as: -to promote orienteering sport, which is a sports branch that has started to be popular, to be integrated into the local people of our city and the cities where our partners come from,-to have our participants and their inner circles visit our country again for various purposes."

The participants will record educative videos of the daily taught sign language which will contribute in other people's learning. These videos will reach over to many people after being shared on social media accounts. Moreover, the participants will share the knowledge and experience they gained and their messages in short movies and in these short movies many topics such as; the educational and social lives of the hearing-impaired individuals and the problems that they are facing. Many people from different countries will be reached through the short movies we will record, and this will act as a leading tool for their own learning of sign language. Each person who will learn sign language will be able to communicate with hearing-impaired individuals and leave a positive impact in their lives. The participants will be able to practice their sign language, communicate and come together with hearing-impaired individuals through the visits to Trabzon Deaf and Mute Organization which is located in the area. The participants will shoot videos of the historical and cultural places they will visit after the education. The subtitles in English and Turkish will be added to these silent videos and they will be shared on social media accounts and YouTube channel with text which emphasize the importance of sign language for hearing-impaired individuals. Through popularizing these videos, sign language will be promoted to be added in many other videos and TV shows. After the participants return to their home countries, they will shoot an introductory video of 5 historical place of their choosing, add English subtitles and share them on their social media accounts as well as the account of the project. This way, the project will continue to have an impact in their countries. They will attract more attention of the people surrounding them with the introduction of the historical places in their countries and encourage them to learn sign language. This will be an important step in terms of the sustainability of our project and building awareness. We will become the voice of hearing-impaired individuals through our project. Even though our voice will be heard by limited number of people first, it will become stronger with every person we will reach on social media and it will reach to people from around the world. Every person who will learn sign language through our project or every video or TV show which will include sign language and its education will become a part of the hope which many hearing-impaired individuals possess."
