The Town Hall of Jerez, in partnership with the following vocational education centres - IES Andrés Benitez, IES la Granja, IES Francisco Romero Vargas and C.E. Manuel Lora Tamayo - have created a Consortium and submit this European mobility program proposal. At the origin of this proposal is our concern for the labour situation that suffer our young people nowadays, those that are actually studying and those who have recently finished their studies. These students have different professional profiles: Car bodywork, Commerce, Auxiliary nursery care, Car mechanics and electricity, Electronic equipment and facilities, Aesthetics, Pharmacy and parapharmacy, Administration, Telecommunications, Air conditioning/ heating systems fitting and repair, Gardening, Photographic laboratory, Automation, Hairdressing and Hair Cosmetics, Welding. Students have previously completed a theoretical training period in one of our Consortium centres, and now complete their education with a training period in companies of the EU, and some of them have already finished their studies. Destiny countries have been: Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal , and the UK. There have been 4 different flows: From March to June 2015, from September to December 2015, from February to May 2016, from March to June 2016. The training period has lasted for 84 days, which has been reinforced with a language course completed before the mobilities took place. In order to prepare each flow, the following actions were completed: •Before departure: Dissemination of the program, giving information to potential participants, motivation, selection of participants, counseling for writing the cvs, companies searching in the destiny countries according to candidates profiles, preparation of the learning agreements, designing of the educational program, linguistic and cultural preparation, mobility arrangements. •Mobility: Informative sessions, departure, students follow up, sorting out problems or incidents. •Evaluation and dissemination of results: Meeting with the students once they have come back, evaluation on job insertion rates, project results, quality report, financial reports, and dissemination of results. Results and outcomes for the Participants:- Achieving practical experience as a complement to the theoretical education that they have received so far during their formation. For the students this training was the FCT (Training in the jobs) what is necessary to get the degree.- Most of them have had a professional experience for the first time.- Acquiring practical methodologies and innovative learning techniques in their professional sectors. - To gain language and socio-cultural abilities - Completion of the technical qualifying program. - obtaining the EUROPASS.Expected results for the sending and hosting partners to this project: - Contribute to the enrichment of participants education rising their possibilities when entering into the labour market. - To improve European mobility programs management, collecting best practices for its application in future projects. - Apply new practical approaches to selected sectors - Improve professional training by the exchange of experiences that move theory to practice. - Enlarging networking of enterprises and companies to a European level strengthening bonds between members. In the long term, Encouraging occupational mobility will promote a new spirit and interest among young people towards training regarding not only professional competences but also including language competences. Youngsters will have access to educational training and will discover new employment opportunities, will see the benefits that this experience has had in former participants to this program and school absenteeism will be reduced.

The implementation of this project has allowed us to continue with the internationalisation strategy of our school. It is a centre located in a rural environment where the offer of appropriate companies for students to complete the OJT module is quite limited. The main objectives set out were to achieve work training for students in accordance with the times of globalisation in which we find ourselves, as well as the professional development of the Institute's staff, which will be of benefit to the whole educational community. In order to achieve these objectives, 13 student mobilities and 4 staff mobilities have been carried out. Initially, 10 student mobilities had been planned, but a reduction in the duration of some of them has made it possible to increase the number, giving opportunities to more students. Of these 13 students, 7 belonged to the Telecommunications Installations Intermediate Cycle and 6 to the Administrative Management Intermediate Cycle. The destination countries were: Portugal (2), Poland (3), United Kingdom (3), Italy (2), Malta (2) and the Netherlands (1).As for the mobilities of staff for job shadowing, they have been carried out by teachers from the Department of Electronics and Administration, who were also involved in the coordination of OJT and international programmes. The destination countries were Italy and Portugal. In both countries we have had the collaboration of counterpart centres IIS MICHELE GIUA - CAGLIARI in Sardinia (Italy) and AGRUPAMENTO DE ESCOLAS DE BARCELOS in Barcelos (Portugal). The mobilities of students and staff are framed in the academic years 2018/2019 and 2020/2021. The implementation of this project has been affected by the COVID-19 health crisis, hence its duration has been extended to 36 months, instead of the initially planned 24. In addition, during the 2019/2020 academic year it was not possible to carry out any of the planned mobilities after the selection of students following the criteria established in the call. Fortunately, no payments had been made, which facilitated the financial management. What we regret the most is that many students have lost a unique opportunity because, although they had the option of a mobility as recent graduates, as they are enrolled in a Higher Cycle, they can no longer enjoy it.The mobilities of students for internships during the academic year 2020/2021 have been implemented with the support of the organisation Intern Xperience SC, which has facilitated the search for companies and accommodation for the 2 students from Italy and 2 from Malta. The decision to ask for their help was taken taking into account that these were uncertain times in which the experience of a support organisation was essential. As a result, 8 students have been able to complete their training by doing the OJT module entirely in the host companies, 3 have done it partially because they wanted to contact companies in the area before finishing, 1 has done voluntary work experience and 1 has done it as a recent graduate. On returning from the placements, a clear impact on the personal development of the students has been noted, visible in the personal interviews held with them at the end, while at the same time they have increased their professional skills, as stated by the respective placement tutors. In the long term, an increase in the number of applicants is expected, encouraged by the excellent results of the project, both from students and staff. This will allow us to have more and more people each year who decide to become part of a European community interested in professional and personal development with open-mindedness, respect and tolerance. The dissemination of the project has been carried out through different channels, mainly through informative talks in which the participants have shared their experiences with the rest of their classmates, through our website and through social networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

They have acquired greater autonomy and have learnt to overcome situations (like problems of coexistence) and to sort problems out. - Personal training, they have realized that they are able to face other realities, know other cultures and insert themselves into them. For the consortium: Expansion of the European work network. The Town Hall is very focused on the management of all types of European projects, because this is increasing the interest of our citizens in Europe. In the long term, the revitalization of mobility among our students will promote a new spirit and interest in training education, since they will see new training opportunities for employment, they will see the benefits that the training program has meant for those who have already participated. School absenteeism rates will be reduced too.
