    "The project “S.E.E.D.S. - Strengthening knowlEdge and compEtences to Develop new Skills ""(2018-1-IT01-KA102-006370) was developed by UNCI Agroalimentare with the help of the national Consortium and its varied foreign partnership. Agri-food and Tourism, Trade and Marketing, represented the reference sectors of the project and its VET actions. The project actions were aimed at 111 young graduates from school curricula related to the sectors above mentioned: Agriculture, Agri-food and Agro-industry; Administration, Finance and Marketing, Tourism, Food and Wine Services, and Hotel Hospitality. The mobility experiences promoted were long-term (4 months - ErasmusPro). In total, 52 male and 59 female candidates, aged between 19 and 22, were selected, coming from different Italian regions: Campania, Veneto, Tuscany, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Liguria, Sicily, Molise and Marche. The training activities developed under the form of an internship in host companies chosen on the VET learners’ specific features (aptitude, as well as professional needs).The objectives and impacts achieved by “S.E.E.D.S.” were the following:- consolidation of an organized and defined VET cooperation made up of the right social actors (VET schools, public authorities, trade associations) capable of supporting young people in their accessing the labor market.- implementation of 111 mobility experiences in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Malta, and Spain, for the enhancement of technical-scientific skills relating to the professional sectors of reference (100% of internships, in fact, were perfectly in line with the profile of the selected participants).- growth in the employability level of the young graduates who took part in the mobility (15% of beneficiaries entered the labor market following their Erasmus internship by securing a job position either in their host companies or new businesses belonging to the same professional sectors).- enrichment of linguistic and managerial skills for the Consortium members and all the representatives engaged in the project design and implementation; improvement of the language skills of direct participants through the OLS platform (more than 95% of learners declared an improved language knowledge in a second European language).- acquisition of more in-depth knowledge about the European funding mechanisms (many consortium schools, during the months of management of ""S.E.E.D.S."", participated in the Erasmus+ Program for the promotion of initiatives related to Key Action 1 - Mobility for school staff; UNCI Agroalimentare itself has obtained the Accreditation to the new Erasmus 2020-2027 Program under the Key Action 1 to continue supporting the mobility of VET Learners.- greater integration of the operating systems of different organizations related to VET with the aim of increasing the quality of training courses and feeding pedagogical research activities (the foreign receiving organizations were able to better investigate the management dynamics underlying the Learning Outcomes monitoring, evaluation and recognition mechanisms; on the other hand, the companies hosting the internships gave its internal teams a crucial contribution towards their internationalization)."

    "The project ""PRO.MOT.E. - PROmoting MObiliTy for Entrepreneurs"" (n° 2016- 1- IT01-KA102-005143 - CUP G36G16000200006), promoted by the training center Scuola d’Impresa, endend last 30th June 2018, after 24 months of intense management activities developed in synergy among foreign partner organizations and Consortium members (Municipality of Campobasso, local schools IPSEOA ""Federico di Svevia"" and IIS “L. Pilla”, training centers Masterschool, Training Human Organization Research Onlus, Accademia Britannica, Glocal Srl and professional organization Fenailp Molise). The idea underlying the project stemmed from the economic crisis spread throughout Italy and Molise Region, where the gross fixed capital formation decreased to an average annual percentage of 8%, one of the Country lowest rate. Despite these discouraging statistics, the Coordinator Scuola d’Impresa was determined to bet on the development of youth entrepreneurship by promoting a 4 - month transnational mobility of 100 local graduates (101 traineeships actually assigned in the end) towards Spain, Ireland, Belgium and United Kingdom in order to carry out a professionalizing internship in sectors such as tourism, food and agri –business.The objectives achieved by the project ""PRO.MOT.E."" were multiple:- the project has fostered openness and intercultural dialogue through international mobility that let a small, albeit significant, slice of local graduates live in different European Countries in order to develop a professional training aimed at improving their entrepreneurship and business management skills in the strategic sectors identified by the project;- the actions planned have also boosted the economic-productive creativity by strengthening the local youth entrepreneurship;- the Consortium itself was able to benefit from the project by improving internal inter- culturalism, prestige, language learning, networking activities as well as designing and management skills;- the project encouraged the creation of synergies between different types of local entities (Schools, Local Authorities, Businesses and Professional Associations), now sensitized to the principles of the Erasmus + Program such as those of European citizenship, mobility, networking, employment, growth, development and inter - culturalism.In terms of concrete impacts, the project ""PRO.MOT.E."" reached the following percentages:- 30% of trainees are currently employed in foreign companies;- 35% of trainees that found employment in Italian local companies and / or are about to enter the labor market with the Consortium’s support;- 5% of trainees that are about to set up their own business;- 30% of participants enrolled in university studies and / or other professional courses;- more than 200 recent graduates that have applied for the project;- 40 local schools whose loyalty got stronger with the organization of dissemination activities throughout local territory ;- Italian local companies interested in the job profiles formed within the project framework that allowed the recruitment of 25% of the participants returned to Italy;- 2 transnational projects of work relating learning initiated by the partner schools;- 2 new collaborations born within the framework of the Erasmus + Programme – Learning Mobility of Individuals (KA1)."

    "The project ""MOB.Y.D.I.C.K.- MOBilitY for Development of International Competences and Knowledge"" was born from the analysis of the needs of the partnership’s members and from the examination of the potential economic growth of which Calabria region could be the protagonist of through a more efficient training of its human resources and a better marketing placement of its agri-food products: that is also due to a high rate of unemployment in the region, existing despite the cultural and artistic heritage.The “MOB.Y.D.I.C.K.” project has therefore intervened by creating appropriate resources able to face the challenges and the opportunities of the global market and to manage agricultural, agri-food and touristic companies.The achieved objectives are:1.promoting a better knowledge of the agri-food and touristic sectors’ potential for the Calabrian territory development;2.training human resources able to embody the needs that will come from the European and Global market;3.operating a progressive adaptation of the training systems in line with the real business needs, also operating a comparison with other receiving countries realities, keeping in mind the European certification system ECVET;4.acquiring good practices within business and marketing management through the cooperation with foreign partners;5.Promoting a better dialogue among Calabrian stakeholders involved in order to deal with the link between practicing and working;“MOB.Y.D.I.C.K.” fostered mobility paths of 4 months in Spain, United Kingdom, Belgium and Ireland addressed to 100 young new-graduates in the following fields of studies: Agriculture and the Rural Development, Administration and Finance, Marketing and Communication, Tourism.Before leaving, the learners received a training articulated on the following points:•support on the usage of the linguistic training platform - OLS;•individual drafting of a development plan of professional skills;•pedagogical and cultural Erasmus+ Training.Those who took part in the program improved their technical and linguistic skills, with a more concrete possibility to be employed.Meeting with foreign realities and different working methodologies compared to the original ones, they had the chance to develop international skills to fit the foreign labor market. Their curriculum has been enriched by the Europass Mobility and both European and national certifications.The impact in the region has been significant since here, unlike others from other regions, young people suffered the lack of proper training opportunities or where to use the obtained professional knowledge.Moreover, the Project also promoted the cooperation between the various stakeholders who found a new synergy to promote and develop the regional agri-food products. The learners also had the chance to understand how companies and regions operate on their own brand promotion, realizing the importance of creating a system to cooperate for a proper development of the region.About the 20% of the trainees received a job offer once returned. The 30% received a job offer from the abroad hosting companies or other similar companies. The 3% started a business while a further 20% went to a university or attended a professional training course. The 5% went to foreign universities. The rest of the attendee are still active on the business market to search for their first employment in line with the activities done within the project."

    "The Municipality of Bitonto (Apulia) has promoted the project ""SMART PUGLIA - Support students' Mobility in the Automation and eneRgy secTor in PUGLIA"" (project code: 2018-1-IT01-KA102-006375) from 01-10 -2018 until last 08/30/2021. The project aimed at 103 recent graduates in the professional fields of mechanics, energy and IT, selected to carry out a long-term mobility (4 months) in United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Belgium and Malta.The project ""SMART PUGLIA"" has contributed to the achievement of the following objectives:•It has favored the job placement of Apulian graduates in the mechanical, energy and IT sectors thanks to the training experiences abroad, the validation/recognition of all the skills acquired, and the collaboration between European institutes and companies; in fact, 20-30% of the beneficiaries participating in the mobility received a job offer from a European company, increasing their employability at an international level. Furthermore, the participation in the project favored the development of “skills” and “relationships” which became part of the participants’ renewed European identity. The project offered the learners an “open space” for self-expression and improvement, for socio-cultural dialogue and inclusion at all levels.•It has trained professional figures in line with the implementation of the regional specialization strategy to support companies in the Apulian and Southern area for their further internationalization and innovation; in this regard, 10% of the participants, at the end of their internship, started working for local companies while 40% decided to enroll in higher professional training courses to be able to further professionalize their profile.•It has improved the Coordinator’s (Municipality of Bitonto) managerial and planning skills, strengthening local collaborations with citizens, companies, and schools. At the same time, the Municipality has had the chance to start a process of internationalization and modernization, improving its ability to network and generate changes and impacts for local generations.•It has involved Secondary Schools from Apulia (IISS ""Bachelet - Galilei""; IISS ""Panetti-Pitagora""; IISS ""Guglielmo-Marconi""; ITT ""Alessandro Volta""; IISS ""Agherbino""; Liceo Scientifico Statale ""G. Galilei""; ITET “Salvemini-Molfetta”) in a process of renewal and internationalization of their educational offer, in response to the training demands of the modern market; in addition, by witnessing the organization and assessment of internships abroad, the Schools have had the opportunity to renew teaching methods and training experiences in non-formal contexts, with the use of on-the-job models.•It has allowed the improvement of other members of the Consortium (Federimimpresa and GAL Conca Barese) in terms of their ability to network and collaborate with foreign actors, exploring new models of local development and professional upskilling.•It has allowed the Consortium to cooperate with other Member States, creating joint opportunities for collaboration and business, promoting dialogue and exchange of good practices on relevant topics related to new information technologies and energy efficiency solutions in the mechanical sector."

    "The regional Calabrian context, where the school is located, presents a level of youth unemployment equal to 58.7% (according to Eurostat 2017) and certifies itself as a third European area for unemployment. The 611 students of the Institute come from a social-economic context of middle-low level. The economic fabric production in the territory has structural weaknesses in terms of average companies, which should constitute the main framework, and is characterized by the presence of small entrepreneurial family-run realities that does not respond adequately to the needs of employment and work-related learning of the pupils of the school. The Institute has the need to enhance the skills of the students and teachers in the perspective of the work that is related to the territory and of the business world and the jobs; to develop concrete actions for the improvement of employment opportunities for their students. The project ""R.U.N. U.P. – Rethink and Update vocatioNal training of stUdents and school staff through euroPean mobility"", lasting for 12 months, envisages the participation of: 50 students of the junior and fourth classes ( according to high school) in following addresses of the Malafarina Institute (Electronics and Electrotechnics; Information Technology and Telecommunications; Construction, Environment and Territory) and they will spend a period of training abroad that will last for 30 days (excluding travel days), at some companies that operate in sectors that correspond to the background of the students; 10 teachers of the Institute of the subjects that teach techniques according to the 3 departments will be engaged in activities of job shadowing for a duration of 7 days excluding travel days. The involved countries will be Belgium, Ireland and Malta for students; Malta and Ireland for teachers. The general objectives of the project are: • to strengthen the language skills of both students and teachers; • to foster intercultural dialogue, for a greater understanding and awareness of social, cultural, and linguistic diversities; • to ensure the recognition of acquired skills through national certifications and communities; • to consolidate the process of modernisation and internationalisation of the school, making possible the implementation of best educational practices. The main objectives are: •to develop the skills of school staff in order to improve the quality of education; •to motivate and reward the teachers, and strengthen the capacity to act for the development of the Institute; •to let the participating students play an experience abroad that could promote the acquisition of practical skills and motivate them more in the study; • to improve and enhance the activity of young apprenticeship programmes of the Institute; •to raise the possibility of training success of students in the labor market; • to facilitate the awareness orientation because of keeping on with the studies for the career choices, through the knowledge of job opportunities according to different sectors; • to enhance the quality of the courses of the Institute through inner comparison training and collaboration with the different educational systems of educational institutions in the partner countries; • to encourage the use of tools of certification and validation of skills; • to build an horizontal formative network in virtue of a broader involvement of territorial governance, widening understanding agreement for the participation of students to study activities, in-depth analysis through extra-curricular internships, but also using strategies and innovative methodologies. The project will allow the following positive consequences for participants: - improvement of professional skills; - development of both skills and communication skills in foreign language. Participating students, thanks to the carried out experience, will succeed, once they will be graduated, to increase their employability. It is estimated that, within the 12 months following the high school degree, at least 30% of the participants will have a work experience in Italy or abroad, and another 30% will continue their path of education at university level or in vocational training. The teachers will expand the skills for the use of the teaching workshop and adopt new strategies for improving the quality of teaching and the organization of the paths of the alternation school-work. The project will increase long-term benefits that relate to: - the improvement of the activities of the Institute, with a specific reference to the organization of young apprenticeship programme; - the increase of the dialogue with the other technical institutes of the territory; - the strengthening of collaboration with the enterprises of the territory."
