Every student is not just an "" MBO catering participant "" but an ""MBO catering participant and committed citizen in the present and future society"".To achieve the objectives , the duration of the mobility is customized to their personal abilities and the level of study. The deliberate choice of partners will certainly make a positive contribution to the quality of the project. We have a large number of partners with whom we work. Depending on the level and abilities of each participant, we find the most appropriate country and type of accredited training company for each. Therefore the number of partners exceeds the number of participants that we send each year .Moreover, participants can enroll at any time during the year in any training programme at Europrof, therefore, a broad -based partner contact is of great importance.- The content of the project is aimed basically at 13 students MBO BOL (Level 1 / m Level 4 ) at the initial vocational training in the context of Hotel and Catering , Hospitality, Pastry and Culinary arts. Participants will do a part of their training program, training (BPV) in a European accredited hosting partner. The intention is that participants go for an internship duration of between 7 and 15 weeks . They will gain their practical experience in accordance with the practical skills required in these accredited training companies. Two applications which will have a big impact:1 -The fact that Europrof gives participants the opportunity to do an international internship , during their first year of study , in a ""real-life "" situation, ensures the development of their enthusiasm and interest and passion for their future work and employment ( if at 16 or 17 years of age they have this opportunity and experience, one can surmise the tremendous help and encouragement it will mean for them!!) Our experience is that their passion and enthusiasm increases as if they were already 19 and 20 years of age.!!!.... The future will change for them . Their ambition will grow and their performance will be enhanced. 2 - The fact that we give the students immediately in first year, the opportunity to follow internships in 4 star* and 5 star * companies. We teach them right from the start to set the bar very high and then ... naturally passion and motivation will grow rapidly! The nice thing is that if they are looking for their internship of the 2nd year, they are not satisfied with “lower” places .... This is the beginning of a passionate future! they learn from the beginning at the highest level ! This improves entry and employability in the labour market .Internationalization applied in this way you can presume it represents a real modernization of VET ! !Improving language skills also plays an important role (e.g. English, Spanish and German ). It creates interest and appreciation for the culture and customs of the host country. This helps them to adapt during their stay.STAFF :A total of 5 participants (practical trainers , teachers , etc. ) .a) internships in approved / accredited training companies in the EU countries .b) in collaboration with a number of Hotel and Catering Companies in the EU countries designing and developing educational modules that will be given in the new Europrof Qualification programme .=============With this “2 in 1”- project implementation , we are confident that we will achieve our five broad objectives , namely :- Achieving modernization of vocational education by internationalization- Accelerating the development of personal, general, and branch-specific competencies- Improving the quality of learning and teaching- Improving employment and sustainable employability- Increasing the value and attractiveness of vocational education through closer cooperation with the industryTogether with a number of partners, with Erasmus + projects, we are trying to promote reciprocity. Moreover, the “Passion & Service project in the hospitality industry-2” aims at a biger impact: promoting the motivation to learn and the passion for your future profession!!! This also increases the ambition and the performance enormously! How do we do this? - International (EU) long traineeships from the first year (most of them are 16 or 17 years) they involve a major development both in personal and in their vocational learning process. ""You know what you learn: because you immediately fit everything you learn in practice from theory"". - A 3 years program ( with a 5 to 6 months internships each year) in small groups and with a 'personal coach', also during the internship. - Internships at a high level (learning in the place and at the level where their capacities lie). This formula is unique in the Netherlands! - The use of E-learning plays an important role in making the theory more attractive and immediately applicable. - A better preparation for language and culture with the aim of cultivating interest and appreciation for the culture and customs of the host country. This helps them to adapt themselves during their stay. Both during the training and during the internship students are made aware of different cultures, also in the context of social inclusion (through master classes of intercultural sensitivity and interaction with other cultures). Furthermore, the optional subject International part I and part II components are also offered during their EU internship as an exam (see also the attached example). - Greater opportunities for a job immediately after the study (they obtained real experience as a professional worker). Better understanding and cooperation between education and the labor market with the aim of achieving a more optimal connection. This makes vocational training much more attractive, the opportunities on the labor market much greater and especially the sustainable employability in the labor market, the personal qualities better developed, the languages more important. We continue to work on better and sustainable cooperation, especially with (new) foreign partners. We are working on looking for new partners who are open to this formula! We have a large number of partners with whom we work together. Depending on the level and qualities of each student, we look for the most suitable country and type of apprenticeship for each student. As a result, the number of partner countries is sometimes larger than the number of participants we send per year. With this project we want to make the participants aware of the personal responsibility and the positive contribution that they can make in this current society. We are convinced that citizenship competences are of great importance in vocational education. Every student is not only a ""catering student"" but a ""catering student full-fledged citizen in the current and future society"". In order to achieve the desired objectives, the duration of the mobility is adapted to the personal possibilities and to the study-level. The conscious choice of the partner countries will certainly make a positive contribution to the quality of the project. The content of the project is intented for in principle for 10 students who will do a 5 to 6 months internship in the context of Horeca- Hospitality and Patisserie. The participants will follow a large part of their training path in a European receiving partner country. They gain their practical experience according to the specific competences in accredited training companies and they also do exam / validation (one example attached). STAFF: Professionalization of 4 participants (practice trainers, teachers, administrators, volunteers, etc.) so that they can develop both professionally and personally and thus bring added value to the educational institution and to the students. We are in the process of inviting companies from the EU to come and give masterclass / guest lectures within the context of the branch and industry. Participants take innovative training / courses in apprenticeships and institutions in the EU countries both for their expertise promotion and for improving the quality content of the programs. In collaboration with a number of hospitality companies in the EU countries, we will revise the study-curriculum in order to create more fluent transfer possibilities. Improvement of languages by following language courses in order to create a better understanding during teaching and guiding. With a number of partners, with or without Erasmus + projects, we continue to promote reciprocity. On the other hand, both parties, we experience reciprocity as a great enrichment!"

A student has been allowed to do an internship for 7 months. Four were 1st year students (one was 16 years old and three were 17 years old) the other three were 2nd year students, all of whom follow the Hotel Management course. The students have gained their practical experience according to the specific competencies in accredited training companies (all in 4 * and 5 * hotels). The 1st year have acquired Rooms Division and the 2nd year Conference & Banqueting / F&B competencies. Part of the examination has also taken place there at all.The fact that in Europrof they get the opportunity to do a long internship abroad in the first year influences their entire future! The ambition and performance have therefore grown enormously. Results & impact:-The motivation for their training is increased by the internships. They discovered that their internship experiences cannot be learned from books.-the chances on the labor market have increased and especially the sustainable employability in the labor market. Because the students were already offered jobs during the internship period for after their studies. A number have also received a ""recommendation letter"".-The development of personal qualities is noticeable in all respects.- Progress has been made in languages (thanks to OLS +)-The students show real interest and appreciation for the culture and customs of the host country. This has helped to adapt during the stay.We have created a number of possibilities in practice to fully achieve the objectives, namely:-Intense personal coaching and guidance with room for creativity and independence, also during the internships. The students were visited during the internships.-The duration of mobility is adjusted to personal possibilities and to the level of the study. The deliberate choice of partner countries has made a positive contribution to the quality of the project.-We have followed the students every week through our virtual learning and working environment.-We have joined forces with 5 new partners, it was exciting but good and positive results have been achieved! We have a large number of partners with whom we collaborate. Depending on the level and qualities of each student, we look for the most suitable country and type of learning company for each. As a result, the number of partner countries is greater than the number of participants that we send per year.-We have continued to work on sustainable cooperation with our trusted partners and now with the new foreign partners.-Both students and the Staff are aware that international competences make a positive contribution to today's society.-We remain of the opinion that citizenship competencies are of great importance within vocational education. Every student is not just a ""catering student"" but a ""catering student full citizen in current and future society"".STAFF:A total of 4 staff (practice trainers, teachers, administrators, volunteers, etc.) participated in a mobility program with a duration of around one week. Objectives have been achieved.- Running internships and taking courses in training companies and institutions in the EU countries has gone beyond expectations.- Exchange of experience and job shadow in similar vocational schools and institutions has opened horizons for possible future collaborations.-In collaboration with a number of Catering establishments in the EU countries, has resulted in the design and development of a number of educational modules.-The first steps have been taken with Curricula comparison to create students' transfer opportunities.-New developments in society bring new formulas to the market within the hospitality industry (eg ""care hotels"") in collaboration with other branches and about the future of Hospitality. Developments and experiences have been exchanged with colleagues from different countries in one of the staff mobility.Reciprocity has been promoted with a number of partners from outside the EU, with or without Erasmus + projects. On the other hand, we experience reciprocity as a great enrichment!"

We must guard against the danger of a gap opening up between education and the realities of professional life. Through this project, Europrof was able to offer students the necessary opportunities for personal and professional development through ErasmusPro mobilities. It is important that the staff is aware of the new trends in this sector in order to incorporate the current real image in the lessons. With this project Europrof was able to give new professional perspectives to staff within education (applicationtheory into practice) by developing international competencies as an 'education professional'.The cooperation with a number of new partner organisations would contribute positively to this development. We were sure of the impact of this project for all parties involved. As far as social inclusion is concerned, certain activities were structurally organised within concrete modules during the training to raise awareness of the fact that social inclusion actually falls under the 'personal citizenship competences'. Both during the study programme and during the internships, students were made aware of different cultures also in the context ofsocial inclusion (through 'master classes' on intercultural sensitivity and dealing with other cultures). Students with fewer opportunities (in situations such as: Health problems; Cultural differences; Economic and social obstacles) would participate in ErasmusPro mobilities. The students received concrete preparation on language and culture with the aim to create interest and appreciation among the young people for the culture and customs.culture and customs of the host country. This helps them to adapt during their stay.<< Objectives >>In addition to what has already been said above, Europrof had the following objectives in implementing the project:Internationalisation is and will remain an important part of the training curriculum and a very positive source for the development of Staff. Both for students and staff the attention for culture and social integration remains high. By means of originally 10 mobility ErasmusPro, from the 1st course year onwards and at high level companies, Europrof aimed to increase students' chances on the labour market, to make vocational training more attractive, i.e. greater chances of finding a job immediately after the study, as they gained real work experience during their placement. Better understanding and cooperation between education and the labour market with the aim of achieving a better match. Thus also optimising sustainability on the labour market.Internships focused on qualitative learning outcomes (it is typical of NLQF qualifications where the Europrof qualification) and on the specific learning needs (with content-based modulepreparation). The modules are on our virtual learning and working environment, where the student has to take thetheory test on the internships to be completed with a sufficient score. The internship period(ErasmusPro) is also the examination.-Support and personal coaching also continues during the internship. It is important to let the original 4 staff members (practical trainers, teachers, assessors, volunteers, managers, etc.) develop themselves (professionally and personally) in order to give added value to their profession, to the educational institution and therefore also to the students.-A number of hours of OLS+ are scheduled in the teaching programme before departure (10 originally requested licences). We have a large number of partners with whom we cooperate. Depending on thelevel and qualities of each participant, we look for the most appropriate country and type oftraining company. As a result, the number of partner countries is sometimes greater than the number of participants weyear. In order to facilitate cooperation and better prepare the mobilities with new partners so that they can bepreparation so that they can be of high quality, the original intention was to do 2 APV Advance Planning Visits - ErasmusPro.The original objectives have been completely changed due to the following reasons, which are already known:1.Decision of the Europrof board not to accept new studentsAs a result of this board decision, it was agreed in the last NA monitoring meeting that budgets could be shifted from students to staff in order to use as much money as possible and to give extra opportunities to teachers, learning masters, assessors, supervisors, etc. to participate in a Staff Mobility as a preparation for their future follow-up trajectory. And furthermore, as a result of this, the APV visits are no longer applicable and no OLS licences have been used. 2. CoronaA number of staff mobilities could not take place during the original time project period due to Corona. Thanks to the extension amendment of Call 2019, 18 staff mobilities took place with great results. 1 student ErasmusPro mobility took place during Corona wave. We are very happy that, despite everything, with a lot of commitment, time, work and effort a total of 19 mobilities succeeded!<< Implementation >>19 mobility activities have been carried out; 1 student has her 6 months internship in Lanaken - Belgium from Oct 2020 till Apr 202118 Staff mobility activities: 3 x bread and pastry special techniques 6 days training in Portugal 1 x language didactics German 5 days intensive training in Germany 2 x specialised advanced pastry chef 9 days training in Barcelona 1 x personalised language didactics 12 days of intensive training 1 x innovative food technology 5 days training in Spain 3 x new technology and methods for Hospitality Laundry 5 days training in Spain 2 x innovative pastry chef training 5 days intensive training in Barcelona 2 x application of special diets 3 days training in Sweden 3 x specialised vacuum techniques 5 days of intensive training<< Results >>Three important results:1. We had indicated that we wanted to give the Staff participants (teachers, trainers, assessors, policy makers, etc.) another opportunity with Call 2019 + Extension Amendment Call 2019 to undergo training to improve their profession and improve the quality of their future jobs. The response has been received with great enthusiasm. All reported significant enrichments both personally and professionally.2. Most of the staff contributed to bringing theory and practice closer together by learning about new trends, new techniques and new developments in hospitality. Two language teachers followed a personalised language training course on methodology and didactics in language teaching. Culture and social integration were also topics covered there.3. Depending on the needs of each participant, appropriate organisations were deliberately and carefully sought. The result is that there has been cooperation with 8 new partner organisations, 7 of them with very positive results."
