"""E.A.S.Y. VET - Experiences Abroad for Staff and Young graduates in VET"", promoted by Essenia UETP, has foreseen the carrying out of: N°70 mobilities lasting 122 days (120 of traineeship and 2 of travel) addressed to recent graduates that have performed a traineeship in companies located in: United Kingdom, Spain and Ireland; No. 20 mobilities lasting 14 days (12 of training and 2 of travel) addressed to the staff of VET Institutes and organizations. They have carried out the jobshadowing in companies located in Spain. The professional sectors in which the traineeships and the training/job shadowing activities have been performed are: Tourism Fashion Industry; ICT, Communication&New media; Marketing, Commercial Services, Administration Electronics Mechanics/Mechatronics; Socio-sanitary field; Engineering, Environment&Territory. Therefore, beneficiaries of the mobilities have been, respectively, recent graduates that have obtained the school diploma in one of the aforementioned sectors, and staff members from Institutes, entities and VET organizations operating in those fields. The projects was born to meet the training needs- in terms of practical experience- of recent graduates, and to favour the entry (and the permanence, in the case of the staff) in a globalized labor market that requires the mastery and the updating of knowledge, competences and abilities both sectorial and personal as well as transversal (intercultural, linguistic, IT, entrepreneurial). The needs of the VET world and of the job market have been noticed by Essenia UETP starting from the debates occurred during the informative and training meeting that the company periodically realizes at National level. The analysis made highlighted the need of implementing actions of transnational mobility for strengthening and updating competences, both of recent graduates and staff, in the sectors identified in the project. The sectors chosen are: extremely relevant for the Italian economy (tourism, fashion, commerce), constantly increasing (ICT, electronics/electrotechnics, marketing), and in which the request of specific competences has grown (social field, environment and territory). Objectives of the project were: improve the technical and professional skills of new graduates by offering them the opportunity to experiment ""on the field"" what they learned during their school path, by carrying out a traineeship abroad; update the skills of the staff of VET institutions, giving them the opportunity to carry out job shadowing activities within Institutes and companies; reinforce, in both graduates and staff, the EU identity and improve intercultural, linguistic and digital skills, allowing the development of a set of personal and transversal skills indispensable in the current labour market. At the end of the project, there was a positive impact on all participants, in terms of: strengthening of sectorial skills and soft skills, enhancement of the competitiveness of the professional profile and increased opportunities of job inclusion. The carrying out of the project is part of the internationalization strategy of Essenia UETP, that foresees the implementation and the development of activities aimed at improving the quality and increasing the quantity of transnational mobility projects.Besides the transversal phases of monitoring and dissemination, the project has seen the implementation of the following management activities, carried out according to procedures and methodologies already experimented over the years, and that have guaranteed high quality standards: Information and sensitization; Selection of participants; Linguistic and pedagogical preparation; Logistic and practical organization of mobilities; Evaluation of the Learning Outcomes and of the project; Dissemination of project results. The quality procedures adopted are constantly improved and updated, also thanks to the use of new technologies and to the professional retraining of Essenia UETP’s human resources, that occurs also through the participation in training activities held in the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 projects. Over the years, Essenia UETP has further broadened its already wide network of European partners, identifying entities and companies able to offer mobility experiences meeting high quality standards and preferring, among them, the ones of proved experience. All over the National territory relationships with VET Institutes, public and private entities, companies have been consolidated to assure congruence and coherence between the activities proposed and the needs of the users. At local level, Essenia UETP has enhanced the cooperation with the bodies in charge of implementing the approaches and of adopting European methodologies and tools for the certification and validation of the competences (ECVET), in order to make the formal and informal competences acquired during the mobility more spendable on the labour market"

"In the city of Cadiz, factors such as youth unemployment, early school leaving, lack of opportunities, lack of language skills in the foreign language and ignorance of other cultures beyond surrounding immediate environment has been maintained for years. This is the scenario that shapes our students faces and affects the way, in which young people face their future with very limited expectations focused on the local community, disfavoring personal growth and professional development. Therefore, there is a clearly need to develop mechanisms that foster the acquisition of professional skills for young people, which will help them to be integrated in the labour market in the future. Erasmus+ will allow them opening new horizons at cultural, social and professional level improving its European projection. We highlight the role of this project as a booster of understanding and visibility of Vocational Training. The experience that has been carried out through KA102 ""CADIZ young Europeans"" 2015, 2016 and 2017 projects, supposes for our Consortium a curricular complement needed by local VET schools to acquire an international dimension. The results achieved through the students, endorse the trend towards internationalization, improvement of skills, as well as the increase of their employability career options. The Consortium, which develops the project, is coordinated by IFEF – Cadiz City Council. It is comprised by nine Local Educational VET schools from the local community that work as sending organizations: IES Drago, Colegio San Ignacio Salesianos, IES San Severiano, IES Columela, IES Alberti, IES Cornelio Balbo, I.P. Fernando Quiñones, Centro Mª Inmaculada and IES Fernando Aguilar Quignon. Currently, these local VET schools develop a total of 95 mobilities, having been established since 2015, as a group that work effectively in a collaborative way, in the achievement of the objectives through an equitable distribution of tasks and consolidation of various operating bodies, such as Mobility Committees in each center and a Steering Committee which all members are included. In this call, an inclusive project is presented and it will allow the mobility and training of students, teachers and professional experts in the area of Middle-Level Vocational Training; prioritizing the inclusion of students with fewer opportunities and long-term mobilities (Erasmus Pro), including the optimization of quality, use, enjoyment and advantage of student mobility, support and advanced planned visits as a guarantee of success. This project will be developed during 24 months between October 2nd, 2018 and September 30th, 2020. A total of 55 young people, 39 students and 14 recent graduates will be involved. These awarded participants will undertake Erasmus Pro (3- 5 months) and short-term mobility (20 days - 2 months) in the following countries: Italy, Czech Republic, Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, Greece, Holland, Belgium, France and Malta. In addition, 17 Staff Job Shadowing Mobility will be incorporated. This will be carried out in accredited centers in The Netherlands, Germany, France and Belgium. One Expert Mobility will provide training in our Centers for Vocational Training. The impact expected on students will be positive on their learning capability and performance. In the medium-long term, it is expected to generate an incentive dynamic of entrepreneurship and mobility, consolidating better academic results and reducing the school dropout rate, as well as, a feeling of belonging to the EU that will help them to work in international environments. The participation of students, who are in unfavorable situation in the project, will contribute to their effective inclusion in the educational system, reducing the risk of academic failure and encouraging their access to higher education. Centers and schools for Vocational Training will have a positive impact on upgrading and internationalization of the school environment, having an improvement in the quality of life-long teaching skills with the effort to adapt to new educational needs, contributing to the development of creating an European culture with the consequent social impact that foreign mobility implies, the improvement of the curricular project and the creation of networks. As well, an impact on host partners is expected. This will be as a result of the improvement of procedures and methodologies applied within the company or educational center experienced at first hand other ways of working and doing things. At local level, this project will consolidate the commitment established between schools and the local administration to work together to improve the quality of education and training, encouraging educational promotion and internationalization and the development of a more accessible and inclusive educational model."
