This action supports physical and blended mobility of higher education students and staff from/to third countries not associated to Erasmus+. Students in all study fields and cycles can take part in a study period or traineeship abroad. Higher education teaching and administrative staff can take part in professional development activities abroad, as well as staff from the field of work in order to teach and train students or staff at higher education institutions.

"United for the Development of the Amazon (UNIDA) is a unique interdisciplinary consortium of universities, non-profit organizations and private companies. The consortium was established in 2018 on the basis of common scientific and especially educational goals, using the contacts and experience of all participating organizations. In the Ecuadorian Amazon, the members of UNIDA were able to create a nature reserve with a research station that represents a model for work in other regions where the consortium operates, i.e. Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, and Brazil. UNIDA was first accredited in 2019 (accreditation number: 2019-1-CZ01-KA108-060643). The consortium was coordinated by Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU). UNIDA's vision is a society that recognizes social responsibility for the use of all its resources, both human and natural. UNIDA's mission is to maintain an educational platform based on excellent interdisciplinary cooperation with an emphasis on the needs and involvement of local actors. UNIDA was founded on the ideals of democracy and humanism. The consortium members share a passion for working with disadvantaged indigenous people living in the Amazon region. Thanks to their experience in this field and the interest of the organizations working with the consortium member organizations, all UNIDA members will jointly respond to the needs of the local population and meet the four Erasmus+ program priorities with regard to: 1. inclusion, 2. combating climate change, 3. digital transformation and 4. civic engagement. Goals UNIDA has been established in line with the European Commission's Regional and Cross-cutting Priorities. Its members will participate in KA171 and KA2 during this accreditation period. The first objective is to provide access to education for disadvantaged groups of people and to spread the European ideals of democracy and humanism. This priority is linked to priority 4 and is in line with the strategic goals set by MENDELU, the coordinator of this project for the period from 2021. These strategic goals correspond to the goals of the Strategy of the Education Policy of the Czech Republic until 2030+. Representatives from the Amazon have called on UNIDA to create a competitive higher education environment that is democratic and provides access to education for disadvantaged groups. Indigenous ethnic groups with whom we will continue to work during this programming period should have the same access to education as members of the majority society. In line with the objectives of the Council of Europe and the European Union, we will promote intercultural dialogue. The second goal of this consortium is to combat the continuing deforestation of the Amazon through education in sustainable development and reforestation of selected areas with native species. This objective has been included in the light of Articles 44, 55 and 56 of the New European Consensus on Development ""Our World, Our Dignity, Our Future"". Activities related to the second objective will be carried out as a way of compensating for the devastation produced in the Amazon by extractivist companies and mass tourism. For this reason, the third goal of the consortium has been set, which is to actively support community tourism and the education of members of indigenous ethnic groups in this area, providing them with access to higher education at the international level. We will use tourism to reforest the Amazon, mobility participants will be involved in this activity. The fourth goal of the consortium is to strengthen social responsibility. Universities educate future executives whose management of companies, organizations or the state has a significant impact on society as a whole. The focus will be primarily on social responsibility at tertiary education and in private companies. The fifth goal of UNIDA is the sustainability of the established network of interest groups and its expansion. The sixth objective is to raise the general public's awareness of the issues addressed by this consortium through social events and their publicity. The consortium includes the following organizations: Mendel University in Brno Charles University Masaryk University Czech University of Life Sciences Prague Palacky University in OlomoucPrague University of Economics and Business. Activities: Educate target groups in the field of sustainable development; organize mobilities Reforest the Amazon with native species Educate in rural community tourism Carry out research at universities in the field of social responsibility Prepare new projects and cooperation agreements Pay attention to publicity and dissemination. Expected results and impact: national, regional and international publicity of the problems of disadvantaged groups in the Amazon, public discussion of natural resources management in the Amazon rainforest and support of particular initiatives and businesses in the field of sustainable tourism."

Mendelova univerzita v Brně byla úspěšným žadatelem i ve druhém kole Kreditové mobility v roce 2016. MENDELU získala v této výzvě celkem 19 mobilit s Jordánskem s University of Jordan a Izraelem s Bar Ilan University. Projekt byl zahájen v únoru 2017 a poslední mobilita, která byla jako dodatečná dvacátá mobilita, proběhla během června 2018. Mobilit se zúčastnilo deset akademiků a deset studentů. Spolupráce s těmito univerzitami se díky kreditové mobilitě významně posílila a na tento projekt navazovala úspěšná žádost o kreditovou mobilitu v případě Izraele v roce 2017 a v případě Jordánska ve výzvě 2018.IzraelProjekt Mendelovy univerzity s Izraelem vychází z úzké spolupráce profesorky Šťastné a profesora Sofera z Bar Ilan univerzity v Ramat Gan. Paní profesorka Šťastná navštívila v rámci přípravné návštěvy univerzitu Bar Ilan v roce 2015, konkrétně Department of Geography and Environment, kde plánovanou spolupráci konzultovala s panem profesorem Soferem, jehož zaměření je regionální geografie v krajině-ekologických souvislostech. Bar Ilan je nejrychlejším tempem rostoucí univerzita v Izraeli. Snahou univerzity Bar Ilan je budovat strategická partnerství s evropskými univerzitami. V mobilitách, které vnímá jako předpoklad partnerství, vidí stabilní základ budoucího společného výzkumu, publikací, vědomostních transferů. MENDELU se stala pro univerzitu Bar Ilan jedním z mála významných evropských strategických partnerů díky svému oborovému profilu. Obě instituce se dohodly na spolupráci v poměrně širokém oborovém záběru: problematika globalizace, venkovské a městské krajiny, aplikovaná a krajinná ekologie, rozvoj venkova a regionů, periferie měst a venkova, rurální geografie, malá města, ochrana životního prostředí, územní plánování, územní správa, agroekologie, environmentální etika. Původním plánem bylo poslat 2 akademiky z Mendelovy univerzity a dva doktoranty a dva akademičtí pracovníci a dva doktoranti z Bar Ilan měli navštívit MENDELU. Finanční podpora byla přidělena jen pro jednoho přijíždějícího akademika, kterým byl přirozeně vybrán spoluautor projektu pan profesor Sofer. Profesor Sofer navštívil univerzitu již před projektem jako přednášející a již tehdy bylo druhým důvodem jeho návštěvy projednání a vymezení témat zájmu obou zainteresovaných institucí. Z pohledu univerzity Bar Ilan bylo hlavním cílem projektu bylo na jedné straně prověřit teoretické přístupy v regionální geografii v krajině-ekologických souvislostech s praktickými poznatky z České republiky, na straně druhé je velký zájem partnerské univerzity získávat poznatky z pedagogické praxe na Mendelově univerzitě. Poznatky získané z pobytu by chtěla Bar Ilan využít jednak ve vlastní pedagogické a vědecké práci, ale také při tvorbě společného bilaterálního projektu zaměřeného na otázku strategií pro rozvoj venkovského, městského a periferního prostoru v éře globalizace. Pro MENDELU bylo zásádní získat inspiraci v přístupu k možnostem dofinancování rozpočtu veřejné vysoké školy a k efektivnímu uplatnění a přenosu výsledků výzkumu a vývoje do praxe.Jordánské hášimovské královstvíProjekt s Jordánským hášimovským královstvím byl dojednán paní docentkou Podhrázskou díky jejím úzkým kontaktům na University of Jordan, paní docentka bohužel díky změně zaměstnání nemohla daný projekt řídit a tak byly vytvářeny s univerzitou v Jordánské nové osobní vazby. Po počáteční lehké skepsi ze strany akademiků Mendelovy univerzity proběhl přímo ukázkový projekt a rozjela se slibná kooperace do budoucna.Vzhledem ke geografickému a oborovému zaměření FRRMS bylo cílem mobilit vytvořit kontaktní bod v oblasti Blízkého východu, který bude sloužit do budoucna jako místo intenzívní spolupráce v oblasti vědecké a publikační i v oblasti výuky. Oborově byly vybrány na UJ fakulty, které pokrývají spektrum zájmu FRRMS a představují potenciál pro spolupráci (agrobyznys, geografie, politologie a turismus). Pro UJ představuje MENDELU zajímavého a respektovaného partnera v regionu středovýchodní Evropy a posiluje tak její postavení jako jedné z předních prestižních univerzit v oblasti Blízkého východu. University of Jordan je velmi moderní institucí inspirovanou britským systém, snaha o internacionalizaci této instituce je patrná s velmi aktivní kooperace s evropskými univerzitami. University of Jordan jde velmi proaktivním přístupem neúnavně za svou vizí stát se jednou ze světově nejlépe hodnocených univerzit. Networking a upevňování partnerství se zahraničními institucemi probíhá neobvykle rychlým tempem a mobility v tomto procesu hrají klíčovou roli.Fakulta regionálního rozvoje a mezinárodních studií MENDELU si od projektu slibovala mimo jiné naplňování svého strategického cíle zapojování se do projektů rozvojové pomoci a spolupráce, projektů ke zvyšování kompetencí akademických pracovníků a studentů v oblasti řešení rozvojových problémů. MENDELU jako instituce vidí v realizaci projektu naplňování své internacionalizační strategie.
