"The project was planned to include 4 volunteer mobilities to 2 different countries. However, these two mobilities were realized as 2 voluntary movements were accepted by the National Agency to be supported. Due to the capacity problem of the Dutch partner, the project was completed by sending 2 volunteers for 12 months only to the partner in the United Kingdom. The following aims and objectives in the application form have been successfully achieved in the project.In an increasingly less secure world, we are going through a time when peace and brotherhood are most needed. In the project, young people from different cultures came together for a long time, crossing ethnic, religious, linguistic and national borders, in order to ensure social cohesion and prevent conflicts. Thus, young people have experienced the differences and similarities in different cultures, their awareness has increased and their participation rate in social issues has increased.The young people involved in the project adopted the concepts of ""Active Citizenship"" in general and ""European Citizenship"" in particular. In this direction, they have been involved in ""social dialogue"", ""labor market issues including career management and youth unemployment"" and ""entrepreneurship learning-entrepreneurship training"" as themes. Volunteers participated in ""social dialogue"", ""labor market issues including career management and youth unemployment"" and ""entrepreneurship learning-entrepreneurship training"" activities determined in the institutions determined by the British partner. The activities of the two volunteers involved in the project took place between 01.09.2019 - 01.09.2020."

This action supports physical and blended mobility of higher education students and staff from EU Member States and third countries associated to Erasmus+ to any country in the world. Students in all study fields and cycles can take part in a study period or traineeship abroad. Higher education teaching and administrative staff can take part in professional development activities abroad, as well as staff from the field of work in order to teach and train students or staff at higher education institutions.Mobility consortium descriptionÇukurovaMED Training Consortium Project is an “internship and professional training project”, which is in the nature of a follow-up of the Consortium Project that has been implemented since 2014 under the coordinatorship of Çukurova University. This Consortium Project shall be implemented within the framework of the partnership between the higher education institutions of Çukurova region (Adana Science and Technology University, Çağ University, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, Mersin University, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University and Toros University and Toros University) and the Chamber of Industry in Adana and Adana Chamber of Commerce under the coordinatorship of Çukurova University.The main purpose of Consortium Project is to enrich the professional and technical training/application possibilities of staff and students, including also the senior students, who are enrolled at the higher education institutions partners in the Consortium Project. In addition to existing connections and bilateral agreements, this Consortium Project is oriented towards establishing new connections and strengthening the existing ones with the firms, the small and medium scale enterprises as well as the institutions and professional associations operating in the labor market, where there exist internship possibilities, with the support and contribution of the Chamber of Industry in Adana and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mersin, with a view to enabling the students and staff to realize their internship and training mobility. In the pursuit of the above mentioned objectives, this project would help beneficiaries develop their professional capabilities at the facilities in Europe, improve their knowledge of foreign languages, promote the European Identity and a stronger feeling of Europeanness, become qualified in their own fields, acquire the skills and competencies required by the labor market and adapt easily to the conditions of the competitive market environment.

Osmaniye Korkut Ata University is a young and dynamic university which was established in 2007 as a state university. Since it was established, it has given big significance to internalisation at home for variousreasons. As a rapidly growing university, it has been located in its new and modern campus with the number of nearly 15.000 students. This rapid change and development is also maintained with including and participating in different exchange programmes which enable students and staff to study or work in an international platform and gain practical skills and professional experiences. In this frame; Erasmus + has asignificance meaning for Osmaniye Korkut Ata University. Since 2011, the number of outgoing student and staff has increased year by year with a full perfomance by using the budget effectively. So far, OsmaniyeKorkut Ata University has never refund grant back, on the other hand more students and staff have been utilized in the programme than the number of the participants declared in the contract. Here, the aim is notto send a huge number of participants but to perform well-qualified and fully respect to the rules released by European Commission during the implementation process . Briefly; it demonstrates the internationalisation and its impact in our institution. The profile of the students participated in the programme are generally from all different cycles and nearly equal numbers from different departments. The profile of the staff, both academically and administratively, are also composed of different departments and faculties. As the IRO, here we can see the penetration of the programme through university. It can be said that different departments were able to benefit from the program equally at the institution. This is what we care during the elaboration and delegation period. Apart from the sending part of the programme, we are actively involved in accepting students and staff from our partner universities. We try to make fruitful cooperations and to maintain and develop our partnership with common projects for the near future. In this frame; first of all we applied for a Higher Education Consortium in 2014 with the universities in our region (Mediterranean). It was one of our projects to gain experience in this field. In the near future; we plan to increase the number of our project partnerships and gain more experience. The project finished with a full performance. The same partner universities came together and applied for the second the Consortium Project and it was confirmed by National Agency (2016). Now, it is going on properly. As the world gets more global, we try to expand our partnership borders more and do exchange ideas. To see the results and the impact of the programme; we have developed some institutional mechanisms to follow our students before and after Erasmus Mobility. Before the mobility, as OKÜ, we offer intensive English language courses for the exchange students which will help students while they are on abroad in many aspects like communication, orientation and respect to other cultures, expressing themselves freely and making the process more meaningful and fruitful for the students. OKÜ has many projects that have been carried out so far. Each project is an opportunity for us to see our weak and strong sides. In this frame; Erasmus+ is also a good point for each university to compare, see and evaluate themselves with different perspectives. We believe that; both in the short term and long term period; students and staff will have the positive effects of the exchange programmes and they will contribute a lot first of all for the humanity, academic fields, cultural tolerance, individual development and world peace.
