Teacher-centred teaching and learning has strong roots in Indonesian education and conventional learning methods are still prevalent in most of Indonesian Universities. In Thailand, higher education organizations can’t attract new students in proportion to their existing structures and resources. Higher education is the efficiency enhancer and acknowledged prerequisite for the economic success of a country. Therefore, it is obvious that Indonesian and Thai higher education should meet better the international standards and needs of the society.In modern business-to-business (B2B) environment, companies are not competing against each other’s but instead the competition is done in between of different supply chains and value networks. Higher education graduates can’t rely on old business models; they must be armed with the mindset and competences needed in modern international businesses. B2B sales is a growth accelerator but it has not been given the appreciation it deserves as a profession, neither a stable position as in higher education.The main aim of the SEASAC project is to strengthen South-East Asian Universities’ capability to provide highly skilled B2B Sales professionals for the emerging international markets. In the project, we will utilize existing European knowledge and experiences in developing a pedagogically rich concept for the cooperation of Universities and companies in the sales education. Best practices from Europe will be matched with Asian sales cultures.A concrete tangible output will be a South-East Asian Sales Competition concept, consisting of International B2B Sales Course and South-East Asian Sales Competition Finals event. These novelties engage companies to the University level Sales education in its all phases: planning, implementation and assessment of students’ performance. In addition to core partner countries, concept will attract Universities from other South-East Asian countries during the implementation of the project.

Companies operating in the atuomotive and mechanical engineering (AE) industry always need to be up-to-date to be competitive. All partners from Thailand (TH), Indonesia (ID) and Malaysia( MY) face one big challenge which inhibits them from further growing in the AE industry: the lack of highly educated engineers focusing on AE. ID, MY and TH are highly important for the global production of cars. However, in comparison very little is done in the area of development and advancement of technological innovation, hands-on trainings and HEI-business cooperation.As there is a lack of human capacities (well-educated professionals), UNITED will close the current lack of skilled labour in AE to increase the positive impact on AE on regional development and internationalization of the AE industry. The installation and operation of the engineering knowledge transfer units (EKTUs) and increased knowledge on AE, higher standards in teaching, innovative teaching methods and through the HEI-business cooperation higher employability of graduates will be created.The EKTUs offer vocational trainings to upgrade skill on AE to industry professionals done by academic staff and student assistant trainers. Selected well trained student assistant trainers will work in the EKTUs in the frame of project based courses. Through the EKTUs the following aims can be reached:•to spread the knowledge of AE at HEIs and to industry professionals to increase regional development in AE•to increase the employability of students due to upgraded knowledge To expand generated knowledge a network for AE will be established. It´s promoted through cross-border conferences and strategically planned dissemination activities. Uni-business cooperation will be increased nationally & internationallyThis leads to 3 advantages:• increased employability of students in AE due to trainings of EKTUs• strengthen cooperation HEI-business through EKTUs • increased teaching standards through capacity trainings

Companies are increasingly being more interconnected, digital and flexible: a new industrial revolution named Industry 4.0 is coming. As a result, new needs are emerging with regard to education and skills especially in countries such as Malaysia, Cambodia and Indonesia.The aim of the Industry 4.0 Master degree is to train Theoretical, Natural, Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technologies graduates to address the new challenges posed by the ever-increasing globalization in production, manufacturing and service provision. It encompasses the different sources of knowledge and experience required by the Industry 4.0 discipline. The programme is structured so that it provides both fundamental knowledge of the discipline and specialisationfor vertical and horizontal value-creation chains of four key industries, namely Manufacturing, Agriculture, Aquaculture and Pervasive Health.Also, beyond coursework, the program is structured around:- industry placement, in relevant businesses, government agencies, etc.- digital learning, to allow modern forms of learning, as well as to enable contribution from experts across the globe in the development of the program.-promote cooperation, exchange of know-how and good practices in the subject area between EU and PC HEIs.-establish viable synergies and links with industry players in order to address their needs in specialized personnel, and enhance the employability of Ind4.0 graduates.-contribute to local economic growthThese specific objectives will be achieved by:-Developing the Master degree in the multi-discipline area of Industry 4.0;-The establishment of Ind4.0 labs;-Developing tailor-made VET courses to cover the immediate needs of the local and regional businesses; - Training the academic staff of PC HEIs;-Viable synergies and links with the regional industry will be established;-Cooperation, exchange of know-how and good practices in the field between EU and PC HEIs

Innovative entrepreneurship education and training can help students and staff tackle many societal challenges by providing them with the skills required by the labour market. Due to the absence of standardized curricula focusing on entrepreneurship in Indonesian HEIs and the existing societal and environmental challenges in the country, the need for introducing social entrepreneurial education is obvious. Strengthening social entrepreneurial development can help Indonesia resolve current societal and environmental challenges and maintain its economic growth at the same time.INSPIRE aimed to promote: (1) social entrepreneurship in selected Indonesian regions by recognizing their needs and transferring best practice approaches from European to Indonesian HEIs.(2) to facilitate innovative learning practices in social entrepreneurship education by developing and implementing trainings, workshops and other tools to increase the labour market relevance of social entrepreneurs.(3) to strengthen cooperation among educational institutions from Indonesia and Europe to foster internationalization of Indonesian HEI and for mutual benefit of increased reputation and recognition in the field of social entrepreneurship.(4) to foster innovation in the field of social entrepreneurship by involving relevant social entrepreneur mentors in the formation of social entrepreneurs and by creating a physical environment where it can be developed.The specific objectives were: • to strengthen and build up the competences and skill sets of academic staff and students (potential social entrepreneurs) in Indonesian HEIs • to create a replicable and cost-effective capacitation model which can be transferred to other universities and countries in the region to extend the benefits to many more social entrepreneurs.• to develop innovative learning practices by an increased use of ICT tools benefitting HEI staff during Train-the-Trainer sessions and social entrepreneurs during student workshops.• to create new and /or expand existing university-business linkages for mutual benefits and to open up new synergy opportunities.• to stimulate idea generation and creative thinking processes among potential social entrepreneurs by conducting a Business Plan Competition.• to interlink potential social entrepreneurs with well-established social entrepreneur mentors to enhance the learning process and to improve the integration of social entrepreneurial talents in (inter)national economy and new business synergies in the long run• to establish modern co-working spaces in Indonesian HEIs This has been achieved through a variety of activities using online and offline tools in English:(1) Two tailor-made Social Entrepreneurship training sessions covering 6 modules for 49 Indonesian HEI staff who have become multipliers in their own institutions,(2) Entry-level-workshops on social business development with 261 potential social entrepreneurs,(3) Public World Café events with 245 participants connecting Social Entrepreneurship with relevant stakeholders from the Business, Public and Finance sector,(4) Social Business Plan Competition with 120 participants,(5) 1-year mentorship for 25 competition winners involving local Social Business Mentors,(6) Establishment of co-working spaces to provide mentees with a creative work environment. Impact has been achieved on an institutional level in each HEI through capacitated staff and students, on regional and national level through better cooperation among HEIs and industry and the tackling of major societal, environmental and cultural challenges, and on an international level through heightened social entrepreneurship activity in society at large.

The BEEHIVE project aims at building sustainable university-based entrepreneurial ecosystems in HEIs in ID and PH to enhance students’ and graduates’ entrepreneurial and innovation skills and their ability to create jobs. The project’s chief goal is to support the PC HEIs’ transformation into entrepreneurial universities, which in the long run will contribute to the development of knowledge-based societies/economies in ID and PH.The consortium combines the expertise of 4 EU HEIs in BG, GR, IS and IT and a Business and Innovation Center in IR, as well as 2 HEIs in ID, 3 HEIs and a Foundation in PH. The following key results will be achieved:1. Entrepreneurship for All MOOC to disseminate up-to-date training and knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship across the PC HEIs’ campuses and to build students’ entrepreneurial skills. At least 1000 PC HEIs students and graduates will benefit from the MOOC delivered in English through the project website.2. BEEHIVE Accelerator Programme induced at the PC HEIs to improve PC HEIs’ student and graduate employability and to create entrepreneurship-based self-employment opportunities through streamlined business start-up support in the framework of designated seed accelerators. At least 10 business start-ups will be created through the BEEHIVE programme.3. BEEHIVE Label designed to provide certification of PC HEI entrepreneurial ecosystems’ excellence and to stimulate PC HEIs’ gradual evolvement into entrepreneurial universities. At least 3 PC HEIs will be certified and awarded a BEEHIVE Label over the course of the project.The project introduces the novel holistic approach of entrepreneurial ecosystems that sees entrepreneurship not merely as individual efforts but as a process of networking and creating synergies between different stakeholders. Thus, through BEEHIVE PC HEIs will engage with a broad range of external stakeholders including business partners, investors, venture capitalists, social entrepreneurs, policymakers
