assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:UCLMUCLMFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2015-1-ES01-KA103-013574Funder Contribution: 422,321 EURIn this Erasmus+ project, the University of Castilla-La Mancha seeks the active development of an increasing mobility of students and staff of our institution with all those other universities and partner institutions participating in the Program throughout Europe. We can establish that it is a continuation of the Erasmus projects being implemented by the University of Castilla-La Mancha since 1991, and follows the path that had marked the previous Lifelong Learning Programme. Our project has as main objectives, the pursuit of excellence in academic and professional training of our students, faculty, researchers and staff, as well as those university graduates who begin to take their first steps in the labor market. In addition, the UCLM pursued and adopted as a strategic objective of its institutional action promoting the internationalization of all its structures and areas, either for our students, teachers, researchers and administrative staff, in the belief that this progressive internationalization is a huge value to teaching and research activities at the university, and undoubtedly it has results on participants with an enrichment from a cultural and linguistic point of view. By extension, the entire university community also indirectly benefits from this project, meeting the objectives specified in the Erasmus Charter.Talking about the mobilities of this project, there have been 383 participants, of which 194 are student mobilities for studies, and 108 students for traineeship. There have been 73 mobilities for teaching and 9 for training.Student mobility for studies and practices have obtained their academic recognition once back from their stays, as established in their learning agreements, respectively. In the case of recent graduate students, this management has been materialized by a certificate of completion of the internship. Personnel administration and services has received recognition for their training abroad through a recognition of 20 hours of training, and staff complete their curriculum merits for teaching and reflects Agreement Mobility detail and particular characteristics of the teaching given abroad.Participants have improved or completed their language skills in other languages, what will help them in their future both personally and professionally, have enjoyed a productive relationship with other participants in the Erasmus Project and students and staff from different institutions. These experiences will impact very positively to the consolidation of the European idea that we all share, its diverse reality and values that inspire as political, economic and cultural union, the constant encouragement that inspires us to encourage feeling of belonging to a community of European citizens from diverse backgrounds, free and proud of our national traditions and idiosyncrasies while belonging to the great European family, so that, many values and ties have been shared since the very beginning of civilization itself and the idea of Europe.

We will examine the European and national language policies designed to promote multilingualism as a European added value and to discuss and debate some consequences of these policies, as well as some of their potential future implementations. We will prepare and deliver three different courses: an undergraduate course on European multilingualism and social inclusion; a postgraduate course on EU policies to promote multilingualism among its citizens; and a summer course on EU language policies and intercultural dialogue. These teaching activities will be accompanied by a multilingual educational website and a film series, research papers and lectures, and an action-oriented research plan on regional multilingualism. We are interested in the analysis of the role of EU institutions in the process of safeguard and promotion of the linguistic identity of the continent through a multilingualism-oriented language policy. Attention is paid to the Civil Society Platform on Multilingualism, aimed at developing a coherent framework for multilingual policy in the EU as part of a larger political agenda for bringing Europe closer to its citizens and strengthening a pan-European identity in harmony with national and regional identities. This project targets three main groups: university students with a relatively low previous knowledge of EU institutions; the general public (with special attention to Castilla-La Mancha); and researchers, professionals and civil society representatives. The project includes three main packages (quality control; research and dissemination and valorization). Progress will be continually evaluated, both internally and externally. By expanding and increasing interest in EU multilingualism, we will contribute to a better understanding of its institutions and to an increase in research in this area. The activities proposed here can be grouped into three large categories: one yearly undergraduate course (24 hours per academic year) on basic aspects of EU multilingualism, one yearly post-graduate course (24 hours per academic year) on more specific aspects of European multiligualism, language policies and linguistic education in the EU, and one yearly summer school (12 hours per academic year) with a focus on professionalization within this field. These activies have been accompanied by cinema festivals, presentations and research activities, as described in the application.

Their superior performance over conventional sources has boosted this discipline, reaching to what is considered as the 4th generation of OLEDs. These OLEDs are based on a novel concept known as hyperfluorescence (HF), in which a thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) material acts as sensitizer of a narrow-band fluorescent emitter via Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET). However, HF-OLEDs still present intrinsic limitations mostly related to molecular aggregation of TADF compounds, and the FRET efficiency. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are excellent platforms for developing novel HF materials to be used in the fabrication of more efficient OLEDs. Their ordered structure, joint with the possibility of using TADF molecules as organic linkers, will minimize the issues associated with molecular aggregation, while enhancing the TADF mechanism by reducing molecular motions. Moreover, their porous structure allows for the encapsulation of narrow-band emitters (HF guest@TADF-MOFs), shortening the distances between the donor (TADF-MOF) and the acceptor (narrow-band emitter), and thus, increasing the FRET efficiency. HyperFMOF intends to fabricate and fully characterize novel HF guest@TADF-MOFs, which will be subsequently integrated as emissive layers of high-performance OLEDs. This project is multidisciplinary and highly ambitious, and the overall aim will be achieved by: the synthesis and characterization of unexplored TADF linkers, TADF-MOFs and HF guest@TADF-MOFs; the in-depth investigation of their spectroscopic and photodynamics properties; and the manufacturing, characterization and optimization of novel HF guest@TADF OLEDs. HyperFMOF will open new avenues in different research areas from synthesis to spectroscopy and OLED technology, and will overcome the limitations of preceding OLED generations.
