The general objective of the project is to promote scientific research in Romania and to share to general public the enthusiasm of professionals working in this field. Our approach for this national coverage event is to present science and scientists in a non conventional way, employing edutainment methods. The easiest way for the public to learn about science and research is to experience things and to remember amusing scientific experiments or demonstrations. Similar activities, conducted in a regular manner should be a trigger for the pupils and students to consider a career in research following graduation. Our event will take place in 6 cities: Bucharest, Craiova, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Sibiu and Timisoara, and are organized by enthusiastic teams from Universities and research Institutes. The gravity point of all proposed activities is represented by various open air activities, organized in an amusing manner by real scientists and students. Furthermore we would like to stress the importance of scientific research for a modern society and to share information on major research infrastructures in Romania (e.g ELI project). European Research Area and the program Horizon2020 will be presented interactively at EU corners. The target audience for all locations include pupils, students, teachers, parents and grand parents, with special attention devoted to gender equality. We will attract pupils and parents from rural regions, kids with special educational needs, kids from the gifted education programme and theirs trainers. Special tours will be organized for policy makers in educational area, science teachers and science journalists. By means of a well developed media plan, including social media tools, during the awareness campaign we expect that more that 700000 people will know precise data about our project: locations, hours, proposed activities. In all proposed locations we expect a total number of participants higher than 20000 people.

PROJECT NAME: Museum Professionals - Leading organization: Ankara University (Turkey)PARTNERS: Etnografya Museum (Turkey), Turkish Women Culture Association-TURKKAD (Turkey), Euro Innovanet (Italy) , Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust LBG(UK), University of Sibiu (Romania) PROJECT DESCRIPTION:In addition to protection, preservation and exhibition of heritage, the “modern” museum becomes a public space, a place of enjoyment and expression of cultural identity for a wider audience. Museums are going beyond the traditional dichotomy between preservation and enhancement and rewriting the same mission in new terms. Successful museums have to be aware of the interrelated issues of cohesive leadership and visitor focused public programming and make sure that visitors have easy access to all that museums do. All these could be done by a skilled and trained museum professional who can also guide other staff for the long term success of the museum. In some of the larger national and private museums in Turkey, such a staff and resources have been dedicated, but often this professional profile is not available in most of the museums. This project has been designed in order to answer to those needs and is be implemented through transferring the innovative best practices of the F-museum project implemented by Euro Innovanet (http://europeanvirtualmuseum.net/evm/index.asp.html). The first specific purposes of the Project is to transfer a vocational training program of F-Museum project and to revise it in accordence with the needs of the museums in Turkey through conducting current situation and needs analysis as well as an impact assessment. Rethinking Co-creation of Digital and Environmental Policy in Systems of Multilevel Governance (RECODE MLG) is a proposal for Horizon Europe on Multilevel governance in times of Digital and Climate Transitions. Our overarching goal is to promote a just, inclusive and democratic transition to a sustainable and digital future by showing how this ‘twin transition’ can be governed effectively within the EU multilevel governance (MLG) system. The project investigates co-creation as a process that can precisely achieve this objective, by proactively involving multiple actors - including policymakers, stakeholders, citizens and volunteers - in a collaborative endeavour, to identify both problems and solutions related to the twin transition. RECODE MLG brings together leading experts on MLG, sustainability politics, digitalisation, co-creation, democratic theory and deliberative innovation with civil society, industry stakeholders and policymaking representatives. It assesses governance structures at three critical sites of twin transition and designs and implements four co-creation labs in order to advance state-of-the-art and produce policy recommendations and a practical ‘tool-kit’ to support inclusive policymaking on twin transition in MLG.

Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (ULBS) seeks as one of the strategic directions of the internationalization process the development of cooperation and partnerships with universities and international institutions as well as the consolidation of the existing partnerships. The internationalization objectives are constantly evolving, ranging from citizens' education and strengthening research capabilities to generation of incomes for the educational enrollment of international students and the visibility and prestige of LBUS at international level. Thus, the academic scene is a trend generator that encourages student and teacher mobility to initiate new collaborations and to facilitate the transfer of know-how and disseminate good practice in related fields.Beside the enhancement of cooperation with international universities, LBUS tried to activate the actual partnerships, in the sense of increasing the number of outgoing and incoming students to benefit from this cooperation. In order to develop its actual international position and to satisfy the needs of the future employees and students, LBUS assumed its integration in a global perspective in all university’s development areas. The students and academic and administrative staff international mobilities has been encouraged at institutional level, LBUS ensuring an environment that supported the increase and development of its members, throughout the promotion of the study, placement, teaching and staff mobilities. Thus, in the context of the modernization of the higher education, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu has assumed through the Erasmus Policy Statement to increase the number of mobilities beneficiaries on all study levels as well as the number of teaching and staff training mobilities.Another objective was to attract a larger number of incoming participants, for which, in the academic year 2017-2018, we organized the fifth edition of the Erasmus + International Week, thus ensuring the internationalization of non-mobile students of LBUS, as well. For incoming students, LBUS offers a wide range of activities and support services designed to facilitate their integration into university life: orientation program, Romanian culture and civilization modules, cultural events, etc.LBUS is a comprehensive university and all 9 faculties participate in the Erasmus + mobility program. In terms of Erasmus + mobility flows with the program countries, in the academic year 2017 - 2018 there was a 2.85% increase in the number of mobility beneficiaries and the number of months of mobility increased by 12.17% compared to the number of mobility and the number of months of mobility in the previous academic year. Thus, LBUS registered a number of 144 placement mobilities, 122 study mobilities, 37 teaching and 57 training mobilities. Erasmus + mobility participants were students and teachers and administrative staff active in the institution, within all LBUS faculties. We`ve come to the conclusion that there is approximately equal distribution between the number of beneficiaries from the humanities faculties and from the ones with a technical profile. The expected impact of the project especially focused both on the contribution brought to the progress and development of academic practices, as well as on the type of activity in the following fields engineering, medicine, letters, socio-human sciences, law, theology, sciences, food industry, environmental protection, is facilitating the applicability of the assumed experience through the mobilities in the daily practice. At institutional level, the program impact can be found in the development of transnational cooperation between LBUS and international partner institutions, covering various fields of research in the implementation of mobility and cooperation European funded projects. In what concerns the students and academics mobilities, the benefits gained from this program resulted in a better insertion in the labor market and a higher impact on the transfer of know-how and curricula.Several measures were taken in order to increase the visibility of the Erasmus program and to improve the quality of the services offered: centralized and decentralized information sessions, the creation and distribution of personalized promotional materials, the improvement of the support services of the selected beneficiaries at the faculty level in close collaboration with departmental coordinators, organization of cultural events, etc.
