The main objectives of the mobility project were focused on providing:- the students of UPWr a possibility to experience a study period abroad (SMS) in the partner institutions - academic staff of the WUELS and the partner universities with a possibility of teaching (STA) and training (STT) abroad. The grant agreement has been successfully realized with the total number of 15 mobilities. Only one mobility (STA incoming from Taiwan) has not been realized due to Covid-19 pandemic. The project was implemented according to Erasmus Charter principles together with the mission and strategy of the universities participating in the project. As a result of Covid-19 pandemic 6 physical mobilities were transformed into virtual ones. The physical and virtual mobilities were as follows:- physical incoming mobilities: 1 STA from China, 1 STA from USA, 1 STA from Uzbekistan, 3 STA from Ukraine;- virtual incoming mobilities: 1 STA from Kazakhstan, 1 STA from Israel, 1 STA from Canada, 1 STT from Izrael;- physical outgoing mobilities: 2 STA to Ukraine, 1 SMS to Israel (Biotechnology student);- virtual outgoing mobilities: 1 STA to Israel, 1 STA to China.Participation of the staff in the project enabled extension of the collaborative links between the partner universities and WUELS. The collaboration will be continued by participation of the partner universities in Erasmus+ projects in the future and it will be focused on the development of curricula, transparent procedures for recruitment, ECTS implementation, recognition of courses and grade conversion. The academics were given an opportunity to use new teaching/training methods and/or making themselves acquainted with new approaches and good practices in study programs development and the use of IT technologies for the management at university level (such programs as USOS and POLON). Virtual mobilities were possible to implement thanks to a very good cooperation and communication within UPWr and partner universities staff. The project results will have a great impact on further activities of the host and the partner institutions in the scope of research, teaching and learning in the international environment as well as promotion and image of the participating universities in European and global dimension.

    Funder Contribution: 156,729 EUR

"Project no. 2014-1-PL01-KA103-000277 accomplished at the Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS) in 2014/2015, referred to international mobility of both students and staff of the University, fulfilled in accordance with Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 and declared by PULS European Policy Statement 2014-2020. The priority planned objective of the project was to realize study mobility for 40 students, traineeship mobility for 44 students, staff mobility for teaching for 16 academic teachers and staff mobility for training for 4 employees. An additional target was to reach the highest possible number of incoming students and staff. The intended purpose of sending the above-mentioned number of participants has been achieved in 83.65%, which is a satisfactory result, although motivating to increase our efforts in the implementation of the subsequent projects. Finally PULS realized: 40 study mobility for 40 students, traineeship mobility for 21 students, staff mobility for teaching for 22 university employees and staff mobility for training for 4 university employees. A smaller number of executed, in relation to the planned, student mobility for traineeships, was partially compensated by higher than expected number of staff mobility for teaching. In the academic year 2014/2015 Pozna? University of Life Sciences hosted 54 incoming students (48 study mobility for 48 students and 6 traineeship mobility for 6 students) and 7 scientist (staff mobility for teaching) and 5 employees for training.Of the total number (87 people), larger group of participants were women (55) than men (32). Statistically most students went to study to Portugal (14/40), while for traineeships - to the United Kingdom (6/21). Our academic staff to conduct classes also frequently traveled to Portugal (8/22) and employees leaving for training were not so unanimous in choosing destinations. In order to ensure a proper quality of the mobility that meets the assumptions of ECHE, the PULS has taken concrete actions supporting the participants. They were informed about the possibilities of participation in the project, they passed a relevant language qualification and, with some support of the faculty coordinators, determined the program of study and/or practice by signing the trilateral agreement setting out the conditions of recognition of achieved results in accordance with the student's academic profile. The subsequent step was cultural and linguistic preparation (OLS) and during the mobility - constant monitoring of the progress. The final step of the mobility was recognition of the results obtained by the participants and appropriate record in the course of their careers (Diploma Supplement, Europass, academic teacher evaluation sheet). As a result, completed project gave 100% satisfaction the outgoing participants (both students and staff). Likewise, high degree of satisfaction has been noted in case of incoming participants (100% staff and 95.56% students). Generally, the participation in the mobility project has considerably contributed to improvement of their competences of various types: linguistic, organizational, strictly professional and the ability to work in an international and multicultural team. Another effect of the project is deepening and broadening the cooperation of PULS with foreign partners, which will have direct impact on improving the quality of education and functioning of the University, better organization of international mobility and in a longer term ? an improvement of the employment rates of the University graduates.Personal experience of the participants of the mobility ? who are the natural media of the Erasmus+ idea, considerable affected the environment, raising public awareness concerning the project. The Pozna? University of Life Sciences has gained the image of a modern higher education institution implementing the assumptions of the ""Europe2020"" strategy. The participation of the students and university staff in the aforementioned international project and shown multiculturalism has considerably contributed to broadening the knowledge and horizons of the local community and propagated the good practices of other communities. Moreover, the project had a significant impact also on the promotion of our city / region / country, since the incoming participants of the mobility had the possibility to become familiar with Polish history and culture, obtain promotional materials, and thus were able to encourage other people to visit our country."

    Funder Contribution: 18,770 EUR

Project no. 2018-1-PL01-KA107-049496 (primary timeframe: 1.06.2016 – 31.07.2018, 26 months; extended to 36 months up to 31.05.2021) coordinated by the Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) pertained to mobility of the students and employees of our University with institutions from partner countries, such as Georgian Technological University (GTU) in Georgia and Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ASAU) in Azerbaijan. Mobility activities were carried out in accordance with the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 and the European Policy Statement for 2014-2020 declared by the Poznań University of Life Sciences. Partner universities that do not have an ECHE Card have accepted its resolutions. The priority objective of the project was to implement 12 mobility activities, including: students for studies (1 arrival from Georgia and 1 arrival from Azerbaijan), employees to conduct classes (1 trip to Georgia and 1 trip to Azerbaijan, and 2 arrivals from Georgia and 2 arrivals from Azerbaijan) and employees for training purposes (1 trip to Georgia and 1 trip to Azerbaijan and 1 arrival from Georgia and 1 arrival from Azerbaijan). The intended goal of sending the aforementioned number of participants was achieved in 75% and the main obstacle to execute full implementation was the coronavirus pandemic. At most, 9 mobility activities were implemented. One mobility was not completed in full (arrival of the student from Azerbaijan was shortened due to force majeure). Among all participants (9), women constituted a slightly larger group of outgoing participants (5).To provide proper quality of the mobility, meeting the requirements of ECHE Card, the Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) took active measures to support the participants in the implementation of their mobility activities. Potential beneficiaries were informed about the procedures and possibilities of participating in the project, and employees outgoing for teaching purposes were recruited directly at their home faculty. Universities from partner countries were obliged to recruit mobility participants within their own units in accordance with the applicable procedures. Both PULS, as well as GTU and ASAU made every effort to ensure that the mobility participants signed an agreement on the program of activities each time. The final step was the 100% recognition of the completed mobility periods of all participants. Consequently, the implemented project gave 100% satisfaction to the mobility participants (both outgoing and incoming) in all groups (students, employees performing mobility for didactic purposes and employees implementing mobility for training purposes). The incoming students confirmed significant increase in competences in almost all of the indicated aspects. Among employees, both outgoing and incoming, both groups indicated considerable rise in linguistic and cultural competences, strengthening cooperation with partner universities and an upswing in their job satisfaction. The participation of students and employees in this international project and shown multiculturalism highly contributed to the broadening of the intellectual horizons of the local society. Furthermore, the project also had a direct impact on the promotion of the city / region / country, since the incoming participants of the mobility, getting to know the history and culture of Poland, can encourage other people to visit our country.
