The NCP4HE project has been designed, on one hand, to bring together and support the needs of the NCP National Coordinators and Legal & Financial NCPs communities and, on the other, to boost a closer and more efficient coordination and cooperation among the different NCP configurations through the infrastructures inherited by the Bridge2HE project, namely the HE NCP Portal and the NCP Virtual Campus, which the project will continue maintaining and developing, enlarging them in content, functionalities and userbase. A large series of activities involving training events, e-learning courses, pre-meetings, meet and exchange workshops, coffee-talks, and mentoring activities, have been planned to provide horizontal support to the whole NPC community, improve mutual learning, and create a structured space for exchange, with a particular focus on newcomers. NCP4HE will also prepare the ground for NCPs in the transition from Horizon Europe to the next Framework Programme working closely with the European Commission and their agencies to ensure a proper interaction with NCPs during that preparatory process. NCP4HE brings together a wide and comprehensive consortium of 36 NCPs host organizations from 22 MS and 9 AS countries, spanning three continents. Additionally, 11 of the 15 widening member countries are represented in the consortium. The project includes a balance mix of NCPs from countries with extensive participation in Horizon 2020 with NCPs coming from countries with low level of participation. This wide spectrum of partners is there to ensure that the project activities and outputs serve as many NCPs as possible, but also that the whole community needs are taken into account when designing and implementing the planned actions.

This is the continuation project of the Ideal-ist network - the network for National Contact Points (NCP) of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The objective of Ideal-ist is to foster trans-national cooperation among National Contact Points (NCP) in the area of Leadership in Enabling and Industrial Technologies (LEIT) Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) under Horizon2020. The project will deliver trans-national services offering tangible benefits to Ideal-ist users; proposers and NCPs, and other projects, by supporting knowledge sharing, networking and proposal development activities. This cooperation will also include collaboration and networking with similar networks in parallel themes (Security, ENV, Transport, Energy, Health, etc.), especially in the context of joint/coordinated or PPP calls. Ideal-ist will be built upon experience gained over more than 20 years from the preceding projects, starting in FP4, and the cooperation of NCPs in the network and those supporting the network.

The objective of HNN3.0 is to facilitate the transnational co-operation between National Contact Points (NCPs) for the CL1 in order to achieve a consistent and harmonized level of NCP support. Action will last 7 years to bridge NCPs to next programme. Next to developing support for the facilitation of daily challenges for all NCPs, we put the focus on lowering the entry barriers for new NCPs and offer particular support services for Widening Country NCPs and applicants The role of the NCP has become progressively more visible and consistent alongside the 7th and 8th Framework Programmes. Moreover, since more than a decade, the EC is providing funding to develop joint actions that helps NCPs getting organized in international networks, thus contributing to best achieve its R&I and outreach objectives. NCPs are again an essential component for the brand new programme Horizon Europe?s implementation. They can be envisaged as the ?ambassadors? of the world?s greatest collaborative research programme in the Member States (MS), Associated Countries (AC) and Third Countries (TC). By spreading awareness, giving specialist advice, and providing on-the-ground guidance, they must ensure that the new programme becomes known and readily accessible to all potential applicants, irrespective of sector or discipline. HNN3.0) Health NCP Net has been made to give continuity to the previous network set up under H2020 and to maintain its identity and recognizability within both the NCP community and the wider applicants community, and because CL1 is sometimes referred to only as ?Health?, for shortening and simplification reasons. Four major target groups are addressed in the 7 years project activities: i.) appointed CL1 NCPs, ii.) their clients/applicants, iii.) other NCPs and important stakeholders, and iv.) the European Commission/HaDEA.
