Within the project we would like to emphasise the relation between effective learning and mental and physical health. The project concentrates on four issues:innovative ways of teaching and learning, mental health, physical health as well as stress management and burnout prevention.Firstly, we want to encourage young people to invest time in learning effectively, teach them how to present their arguments in discussions and improve the language skills of young people and teachers. In addition, the purpose of the project is to skilfully use the Internet and ICT tools in formal and non-formal education. We also want to emphasize the possibilities of shaping the professional future and working in the European Union. Students will improve their skills and motivation by participating in innovative classes from Science and Humanities and career counselling sessions. A part of this project will be devoted to methods and tools used while working with people with learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia). Secondly, we will concentrate on working with people with diagnosed depression and on boosting low self-esteem. We will organise workshops dealing with the issues of team support as well as encouraging the values of friendship and reliance. We are going to encourage students and teachers to do sport activities through organising workshops and sport meetings. We will present a new approach to teaching Physical Education in order to prevent skipping of PE classes. It will focus on traditional sports and pastimes as well as traditional food across Europe. Moreover, the project is going to be focused on healthy and balanced diet and their influence on students' and teachers’ production at school.Attention will be drawn also to prevention of eating disorders. Furthermore, we are going to raise awareness of modern-age diseases and their prevention. Last but not least, the fourth issue covered by the project will be stress management and burnout prevention. During the project we will work on building teachers’ working plan effectively. We will concentrate on Teacher Job Stress prevention. The project will direcly involve 107 students but it can reach approximately 5000 students in all six educational communities. The methodologies used will mainly include a constant sharing of strategies among all partners, using digital platforms, definition of work plans, analysis and evaluation of results and constant exchange of ideas and methodologies, always between students and teachers. Our project will result in producing three e-books: a publication containing six lesson plans of Physical Education classes, an e-book containing six articles on how to work with dyslexic students as well as an e- publication containing 6 lesson plans with the use of ICT and useful activities to be used in formal and non-formal education. "We believe that education is key for tackling the major socio-economic changes and problems Europe is facing. And in the same time, during last years the schools are searching for new methods to raise students' motivation for learning and to tackle school drop out. The Non-formal education and its methods can help schools to develop new aproaches and tools. Cultural heritage is a broad topic that can combine join afford and inspire teachers and youth workers to organize comon activities with students. Our shared cultural heritage is at the heart of the European way of life. It surrounds us in our towns and cities, natural landscapes and archaeological sites. Our project combines the methods from non-formal education, ICT, school subjects and cultural heritage in a new way. Our suggestion is, sometimes to change the place of the classroom and teaching all subject (including STEM) through cultural heritage, archaeological landmarks and real artefacts. To put emphasis on the team work, collaboration and non-formal methods. We think that Formal education needs new aproaches. The project topic is: ""Non Formal in Formal Education-Teaching Subjects Through Culture and ICT""Our objectives are:1) To develop innovative, ICT based, methodology for enhancing the intercultural competences and skills of both teachers and students;2) To emphasize the connection between cultural heritage, all school subjects and non formal education ;3) To stimulate collaboration between the participating countries through exchange of good practices;4) To strengthen the profile of the teacher's profession and thus increase motivation for lifelong learning;5) To encourage schools - youth organizations partnership. The project team consists of SIYB, Netherlands -coordinator (NGO in field of youths) and three schools in 3 EU countries: Bulgaria, Portugal and Turkey. But as larger target group the project includes organizations that operate in diverse socio-economic, cultural and educational contexts - experts from the Regional Museum of History in Vidin, the Istanbul Archaeological Museum, the 3D Art museum in Madeira , Portugal and Natural History Museum (Natuurhistorisch Museum) in Maastricht. SIYB will cooperate with United Word College International school in Maastricht and involves teachers and students from there also. The target group is made up of about 30 teachers and 50 youths/students. In addition, the project will reach about 100 teachers and youths from schools not involved in the project, stake-holders and the broader public. Other NGO in youth field also could have interest to schools-youth organisations partnership and to learn from our project. The structure of the project is based on five groups of interrelated activities. Special emphasis will be placed on non formal methods, interactive participation and use of ICT :1) Establishmen and developing of the partnership- online activities and two onsite Transnational Meetings; 2) Developmental activities: teachers and youth workers develop a methodology how to teach school subject through culture and ICT. Methods from non-formal education will be implemented in the lesson plans. Two Learning Teaching Training Activities, in Turkey and Bulgaria, are included;3) Implementation activities: testing of the ready lesson plans and non-formal methods at schools, . 4) Evaluation-questionairs, polls etc.;5) Activities for dissemination and sustainability The following outputs will be created during the project:- toolkit ""Museums and Archeological Landmarks as Classroom"" - printed and interactive online version. The tool kit will contain non-formal method descriptions, proforma lesson plans for teachers all subjects(including STEM), ICT, digital and online resources like (presentations, games, video tutorials, and apps);- interactive online map(ScribbleMap) to present more visual and interactive project partners and activities;- eTwinning project/TwinSpace containing project materials;- Facebook Page ""Non Formal in Formal Education-Teaching Subjects Trough Culture and ICT""- web page with all project products - YouTube channel with video tutorials. We consider the dissemination and the application of the project's results an important part of work. The scope of our project objectives is local, regional, national and European. Our project is aiming to enrich the teaching at school (Formal education) with methods from Non-formal education and to give ideas to the teachers how they could use museums as classrooms to teach STEAM subjects. We would like to spread the innovative teaching and learning practices proposed in our project beyond the partner schools through eTwinning platform- the largest school community in Europe. In the begining of the project the coordinator and the project team will draw up a Sustainability Plan with clearly defined actions and responsibilities. After the end of the EU funding, all partners will continue to be in contact."

The objectives of this Project were; 1-To provide opportunities for pupils to increase their basic skills by taking part in activities. 2-To enrich children's experiences of school through travel and encourage them to value and continue in education thus impacting on their ability to be the best citizens they can. 3-To improve children's social entrepreneurship. 4-For pupils and teachers to share experiences and knowledge to enhance everyone's education. 5-To become familiar with other educational systems and pedagogical systems of our partner countries 6-To motivate the students to learn other languages and try to communicate in them for a clear purpose. 7-To promote the use of new communication and information technologies, for example eTwinning, blogs, msn, web conference and online lessons. 8-To make students, parents and teachers feel an active part of the European community. These are the activities and tasks we used to help attain these objectives throughout our project. They all worked towards developing these four main skills: Reading comprehension, writing, maths related : logical thinking, computer literacy skill, and more.We planned and executed written, oral and aural tasks for children in all the partner schools to do. These varied from comprehension tasks based on new information from partner schools. Maths problems which were developed from our topics such as tales and food. The children enjoyed the challenges of working against and with children from the partner schools. They improved their IT skills in a variety of ways; from sharing their results, using flip grid to record their feelings about school and the project, setting up zoom calls.Mobilities enable children who have never travel and those who may never travel to experience their first flight. To experience a different culture first hand and to widen their understanding of the similarity between all people no matter where they live. We saw quiet children who were supported and encouraged to stand up in front of their peers from across Europe to talk about their country and culture. We saw how these mobilities helped them to grow in confidence and independence. Many parents commented, upon our returned stating they saw a positive difference. Pupils were delighted to share with their families and other pupils all the wonderful experiences, events and tasks they had been involved with- even re-telling about the things they did not enjoy as much helped them to appreciate how travel and education are beneficial and a privilege not to be squandered.Teachers were able to have face to face meeting during mobilities, and weekend and evening zoom meetings, in which they shared and discussed different education systems and pedagogical styles - some were similar, others we could learn from. Teachers exchanged skill especially in IT. We worked on Thinklink taught by our Portuguese partner and Flip grid taught by our Turkish partner. Together we set up a website, eTwinning and Instagram accounts.Virtual mobilities allowed more pupils to take part in the activities of maths and literacy- lessons adapted for a wider variety of ages and ability.Physical Mobilities enabled children from each partner country to engage and practice teaching others their own language and learning a new language. Through virtual mobilities we were able to use the skills we, as teachers, had learned through Thinklink. In which the children set up dramas to teach others common greetings and phrases which were recorded and shared in zoom classes. We acted them out during the zoom to show the partners how we could now greet them and ask some questions in their own tongue. These were then able to be accessed by other children in the schools at a convenient time. They were used for assessment purposes too.Parents were invited to come to information evenings at the beginning of the project to inform them of the purpose of the project and all the commitment needed by pupils and staff, along with their support, to make it successful. At the end of each mobility they were invited in to school to hear from the students what they had been doing and to look at photographs of the trips. After the virtual mobilities some partners sent out information to parents . At the end of the project some partners sent out questionnaires to children and families to get feedback. The long term benefit of this project can be viewed in a multitude of ways. Pupils were able to hear from the children who went on physical mobilities. They want to be able to travel, meet other students and share information about their country and learn about others. It has encouraged them to view education as important and will help to keep them focused in school. The extra literacy and numeracy activities and challenges helped children to see links better and to have a positive view of education. All partners have improved their IT ability and these will be used in the schools for years to come.

"The background behind this idea to do a project about “Career orientation” was the high unemployment rate of young people especially in the south of Europe, but also in the north of Germany. There are a lot of young people without any future ideas and job perspectives. Our objective in school is to prepare them better for the future job market and to teach them key skills to be prepared and have more opportunities to find work. Especially now with the world wide crises due to the Covid 19 there will be more people without a job but it also can be a chance to find a job in the systemically relevant professional field knowing the right skills, be prepared and know where to look for a job. But it’s not the only reason for this idea. We have more and more students who don’t want to finished school and finally leave school without any degree. To prevent this the students need to have a perspective for their future, they have to know different kind of working fields and have to find out their own skills to be motivated for school. Only when they know where to study for its much easier for them. Without any target in life it’s much more difficult for a lot of pupils. In this project with the title ""Career orientation in school"" the following five schools will participate and cooperate: Lloyd Gymnasium from Bremerhaven (Germany), IIS Francesco Orioli (Italy), Escola Básica e Secundária Com P/E da Calheta (Portugal), Bornova Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey), 1 Epal Trikalon (Greece). During the visits the participating pupils and teachers will be informed about the local situation concerning jobs. They will visit different companies and learn about vocational perspectives especially in the region. They will work on different topics. The aim is to produce a website with useful information for current pupils and for those who will later on look for vocational orientation. The website provides information to useful English vocabulary for job interviews, the padlet including the adresses of interesting companies in the hometowns/regions of all participating schools, a style sheet for an English CV and for a cover letter, information about the application process for the hometown universities and the universities of the other participating towns, information about instruction courses/alternances in vocational schools of the hometowns."
