Existing interventions to prevent and address racism in schools are based on punishment, which is ineffective according to experimental and applied behavior analysis. Specifically:1. When intervention programs are implemented the racist behavior has already been established since the shaping of the behavior starts even before our birth.2. The measures taken against racist violence and racist discourse are not consistent and are not based on scientific laws of behavior. They are ""tricks"" which are employed randomly because we think that it is logical to work or because they have worked in other cases of undesired behaviors. The usefulness of our approach in overcoming these drawbacks is the fact that all kinds of behaviors can be explained, investigated, predicted and altered based on the same principles. 3. According to our approach punishment is partly the cause of racism and it might intensify it. Our approach is based on shaping desirable behavior by employing techniques which are based on the principle of reinforcement. The consortium consists of 6 partners from 4 countries (Greece, Italy, Portugal, Norway ) - 2 Universities (Panteion University, Greece, OSLOMET - STORBYUNIVERSITETET, Norway ), 1 public entity branch of the Greek Ministry of Education (Western Attica Administrative Office) and 3 NGO's (OXFAM ITALIA ONLUS, Italy, ACTION AID HELLAS ASTIKI MI KERDOSKOPIKI ETAIRIA, Greece, 4CHANGE COOPERATIVA CULTURAL E DE SOLIDARIEDADE SOCIAL CRL, Portugal).Partners were chosen based on their research and educational expertise in the field of behaviour analysis, inclusive education, violence prevention, specialized training and educational materials development with the aim to equip the team with the skills required to bring the project to fruitful completion. A mix of Universities, non-for-profit institutions, direct service recipient facilitates knowledge transfer making scientific applications readily available for use in the wider community. The project will involve 3 transnational meetings: the kick-off meeting, during the Mid Term Conference and during the Final Conference. These meetings will serve to coordinate work distributed among partners, monitor progress on assigned tasks, manage time and completion of targets according to agreed timeframe and plan ahead for the following stage of the project. An interim report will be produced by the Leader Organization in month 18.The results of the project which aims at the promotion of the enjoyment of interacting with people from diverse background, through the employment of techniques based on scientific research and basic principles of behavior will be:• Results of desk and field research • Teacher training curriculum developed during the first months of the project • Students and parents training curriculum developed during the first months of the project • Materials developed to train teachers on behaviour analysis and inclusion and specific techniques• Materials developed to train parents and students by teachers on inclusion and videos used by teachers to train students and specific techniques• Results of teacher, parents and students training assessment • Assessment of the project • Website •Registry of trained teachers. Pre and post-assessment of teachers skills will be used to issue certification based on Europass criteria and create registry of certified teachers•e-book Training events for teachers (including 2 transnational training activities) , parents and students will also take place. All training events will take place at convenient places and times for participants (e.g., at schools during working hours or weekends). Attendance will be encouraged and monitored by keeping regular contact with enrolled teachers, parents and students. The training will provide opportunities for trainees to actively engage with contents and obtain hands-on experience, therefore will be presented with an interactive format.Direct beneficiaries of the project will be teachers, students and parents. Teachers and parents will benefit from receiving direct training on behaviour analysis which will allow them to respond effectively to a wide range of situations, create an inclusive school and community overall, develop solidary behaviours and prevent or reduce racist violent acts. This project will lead to the development of best practice in the fields of inclusive education informed by the science of behaviour analysis. Gained expertise will have a direct impact on policies and strategies adopted for the prevention of racist violence and promotion of inclusive education."

It explores their weaponization in light of transnational developments in technologies of terror. At the same time, it carefully attends to how music/sound can become a tool of survival, even in the same setting in which they are weaponized. Also explored are ethical challenges of such research, and of music programmes for prisoners and refugees, highlighting their shortcomings and providing alternative models. MUTE innovates through a theoretical framework that investigates the interlocking of politics, ethics, and aesthetics, focusing on the ethics of sound and ethics of witnessing. Its comparative approach extends to (post)colonial Cyprus, Greece, Serbia, Germany, Soviet Union and contemporary Russia, Iraq, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay. MUTE will critically analyse this complex phenomenon across the disciplines of (ethno)musicology, social anthropology, history, critical theory, human rights law and sound art, since it cannot be fully grasped through the methods of any one alone. The PI’s extensive immersion into all disciplinary components over the last decade, evident in her novel approach, ensures the successful implementation of research objectives. MUTE’s findings and results will transform scientific discourse, changing current perceptions about music’s social function. This historical recovery is important in revisiting and assessing detention-related policies and current definitions of torture. Given recent mass asylum seeking in Europe and the growing number of music research projects with refugees, it will offer the needed ethical, methodological and theoretical foundations for present and future research, ensuring the well-being of participants and researchers, research excellence, and critically nuanced scholarship.

Creativity is a complex phenomenon that thrives at the intersection of novelty and usefulness; a golden ratio where innovative ideas meet real-world value. However, most scientific research to date has studied creativity as a single construct. Additionally, previous research neglected to address how the artist’s intention enables creativity. NEUROMUSE will bridge both gaps through an in-depth investigation of the relationship between the feeling of time passage and musical creativity. A novel Instructed Musical Creativity Paradigm (IMCP) is introduced, in which musicians are asked to create their own musical improvisations after being instructed to be or not be creative, followed by an assessment of their improvisations by an audience. IMCP uses time estimation to uncover how creativity alters time perception by affecting neurophysiological dynamics. NEUROMUSE proposes a comprehensive multi-method approach combining neurophysiology (electroencephalography, heart rate, skin conductance) and computational modelling, to reveal the key neurocognitive mechanisms behind the generation and aesthetic appreciation of music. NEUROMUSE involves the Multisensory and Temporal Processing Laboratory at Panteion University and the Psychophysiology Laboratory of the University Mental Health Research Institute in Athens (Greece), led by world-recognized experts and equipped will the relevant physiological instruments. NEUROMUSE will provide me with the key skills to enhance my career prospects, by building a competitive profile in an underfunded area like the arts. Thus, I will be better positioned to pursue funding opportunities and establish my own research group in the future. Ultimately, understanding how we generate and perceive art is crucial in a world where creativity is increasingly imperative, driving productivity and innovation in academia and industry.

Our University Institutions consider the Program to be an important factor in producing significant academic results through transparency, equal treatment and safeguarding the benefits received by both participants and our University. It is obvious that there was a sharp activity within the university community, aiming at quality improvement and charting strategies for the future. In particular, the Erasmus+ for Traineeship Consortium, aiming at improving the qualitative and quantitative increase of student mobility in Europe, thereby contributing to European convergence, wants to continue the development of innovative practices and excellent cooperation with both foreign partners and the Universities, Technological Higher Education Institutions and the representatives of the Local Government that are members of the Consortium.Indicatively, we can mention the organization of program-promotional and information days, the dissemination of information by modern means (e-government - Skype - Site - Facebook - e-mail), the traditional approach of the target groups with live contact, cultural events, posters, regular meetings with our Partners and the presentation and promotion of the Consortium to other Institutions and Social Partners. Panteion University as the Leader of the Consortium and the rest of its Partner Institutions and Local Administration Authorities aim at:1.The improvement of the quality of Traineeship and its expansion to all study fields entailed in educational programs of all it's partners.2.Improvement the quality and increase of the volume of multilateral cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe with the participation of social partners in order to open up to society.3.The development of the relationship between the labor market and Higher Education.4.The creation of the conditions necessary for the placement of students and graduates in enterprises and organizations, which can further lead to the creation of new jobs, and by extension, to the limitation of unemployment and the promotion of employability.5.Increase of the added value of the qualifications gained through cooperation of higher education and advanced vocational education in Europe.6.The further development of internships in the framework of the Erasmus+ Program. Activities for the promotion and dissemination of the Program, aiming to the augmentation of mobility for Traineeships.7.Finding positions for internships and development of contacts with enterprises.8.The development of innovative practices in higher education and their dissemination at local, national and European level.9.Broadening of the impact of traineeships on the participants, which in turn affects further the formation of national and European policies and practices. The Bologna process has been successfully implemented through the Erasmus+ full recognition of the ECTS performance and the issue of Proof of Recognition for all participants. Also a placement Certificate was created for the students that spent a placement period abroad within the Erasmus Consortium Program of Panteion University. The Certificates are signed by the Institutional Coordinator of Panteion University and the Departmental Coordinator and Institutional Coordinator of the Partner Universities. Moreover, during the academic year 2017-2018 and following to the events being organized at the Panteion University in May 2017, on the occasion of completing the 30 years of the Program, other events related to the implementation of the Program, as well as to the results and benefits generated, have also been realized. These events (promotion day, staff week, etc.) were attended by students and staff who participated in the Program and presented their experiences, impressions and benefits from Erasmus + mobility. This was a really good opportunity to promote the Program to the entire university community, since there were submitted views and conclusions of the participants in the Program.
