"The project ""Future, work, home - today's planning, tomorrow's realization"" was carried out by three partner schools: Romania, Poland and Croatia. The project was coordinated by a Polish school. The aim of the project was to prepare the student to conscious planning their educational path, choice of profession and getting to know the labor market. The project was intended primarily to facilitate the selection of high school and future profession for students of the oldest classes of our schools, including pupils with fewer opportunities. For this purpose, three partners' meetings took place. These were two short-term student exchanges: the first in Romania and the last in Poland. However, in the middle of the project , an international partner meeting took place in Croatia, in which took part teachers involved in the implementation of the project from each country. The meeting served to: summarize the first part of the project, discuss the level of implementation of the planned activities, estimate the level of achievement of the objectives and plan further cooperation. The objectives of the project were achieved to a satisfactory degree, which was confirmed by the project's evaluation. The students gained a better understanding of the local labor market, grew more aware of the specifics of different professions, and got to know their professional predispositions better. In addition, the project contributed to the increase of key competences and taught participants: working in an international environment, communicating in a foreign language, using IT, resourcefulness of life, entrepreneurship and the basics of design and planning. Additionally, the implementation of the project has resulted in the development of skills in: efficient communication in a foreign language in speech and writing, gaining knowledge about culture, customs, way of life in other EU countries, improving IT skills, developing cultural and interpersonal skills. Project participants could also exchange experiences, learn from each other and mobilize to activities, acquire skills and easy in functioning in an international environment."

Levels of walking and biking to school are decreasing in many European countries. The main reason of decreasing the levels of biking to school is that more and more children are transported to their school by their parents’ cars or the school buses. These modes of transport to school have some negative effects such as lack of physical activity, obesity, air pollution, lack of confidence and independent skills and expensive modes of transport. Such negative effects are also common to 6 partner schools in this project. We know that it is a global challenge that needs local solutions. Therefore, we came together and designed our project: Bike2school. The internationality of this project will allow the exchange of best practices and new ideas among partner countries to promote Bike-friendly schools for healthier, educated and more environment-friendly generations across Europe.5 countries and 6 schools will be involved in this project (Turkey, UK, Denmark, Hungary and Croatia) with approximately 700 students aged between 10-12 and about 50 teachers and educators. The other participants of this project will be cycling instructors, parents, educators and leaders, local authorities with different experience, knowledge and beliefs, but common educational ideals. For this project our OBJECTIVES:-To inculcate school community with the benefits of Bike2school regarding health, environment, self-development and economy-To obtain theoretical and practical skills for pupils and teachers to carry out Safe Biking Program in their schools-To equip pupils with theoretical and practical Traffic Rules and Safe Biking skills-To give responsibility to school community in Environment-friendly activities to raise awareness on the Environment Issues and Global Warming-To develop pupils’ physical power, self-confidence, responsibility, independence, problem-solving, communicative and competitive skills-To encourage pupils to work and produce together with their schoolmates and with other partner countries’ students using ICT, foreign language, communication and teamwork skills-To enrich teachers’ mutual exchange with partner schools’ teachers to gain new ideas and insights in order to promote Bike2school across Europe. To achieve these objectives, we will organize 3 short term staff training and 2 short term exchange of pupils’ mobilityThroughout short-term staff training, we will gain new insights, exchange best practices to obtain theoretical and practical competence to carry out Safe Biking programs and develop skills of international communication, English and ICT. We will also design the long term plan for sustainable Bike2school programs.During short term pupils’ exchange, our pupils will experience working and enjoying in multicultural social settings with their international friends. Participating in activities like ice-breaking, repair bike, Bike rodeo, biking crafts with recycled materials, cleaning up activity will help them feel as part of European union, be open-minded and give up prejudice, become more tolerant among nations. We plan to have regular assessment procedures to ensure that the project objectives and results are achieved:1) MOBILITY HABITS SURVEY2) PRE/POST TEST 3) FEEDBACK GATHERED AT WORKSHOP/PARENTS MEETING4) EVALUATION QUESTIONNAIRE at the end of training & exchanges5) COMMENTS of the visitors and followers on social media (Facebook&Instagram) 6) OUTPUTS/PRODUCTS such as like Safe Biking Handbook, Bike Policy Agreement, 2 Newsletters, Project website, 2 short-length films, Etwinning Project, Safety Memory Game, 2021 Calendar, Logo, Mascot, Bicycle parking, (Bicycle Storage), Cycling Road signs, Local Map, Safe Routes, Recycled Rubbish bin for Bikers, Bicycle Drawings on school garden walls and/or rubbish bins, Strategic Long term Plan for Biking2school Program will be valuable tools for our formative and summative evaluation.7) MONTHLY DIARY of STUDENTS BIKING2SCHOOL8) PERFORMANCE in SPECIAL EVENTS and INTERNATIONAL MOBILITYThe EXPECTED RESULTS of our Project:The physical activity of pupils will increase via Biking.
