    University of Bielsko-Biała in the academic year 2014/2015, undertook a mobility project - number 2014-1-PL01-KA103-000107, which began on June 1, 2014 and ended on May 31, 2016.The project allowed both students and university employees undertaking education abroad. Students participating in the exchange, both in Poland and the partner countries had a chance for modern education in another country's and better language cultural competence, as well as building their social capital even before the completion of the course of studies.Balanced exchange is of great value for each of the participating institutions, as a part of wider internationalization strategy. Local communities, both at home country and abroad, receive graduates with higher value for the labor market and entrepreneurs. They are better suited to the current needs of the environment, raising employment rates in the city and the region. Students were strongly focused on internships offer within Erasmus + Programme, which lasts on average in a partner institution from 3 to 5 months. The most active group of students raising professional competencies remains students of philology and management. The university emphasizes the development of cooperation with the international business sector, due to the fact some employers, institutions have signed an agreement on cooperation with university. They enable the realization of professional practices which correspond with outcomes of particular fields. The training program has been developed in consultation the tutors at the home university and the personnel appointed by the company or institution. The long-term goal of the University becomes extending base offers internships for students University of Bielsko-Biala for technical fields of studies. In addition, the University has developed a catalog of professional practices for incoming students (also it can be realized in agreement with local entrepreneurs and institutions) which significantly increased the substantive value of internships. Every year, numerous students coming to undertake practical placement increase.The exchange of academic staff, both academic and administrative staff, contribute to the exchange of information and the creation of teaching academic culture regarding to internationalization. In addition, employees improve language skills as a result of conducted lectures and training - contributing to the development of new fields of study in the English language and professional services for foreign students in the administrative units.University of Bielsko-Biała, in the academic year 2014/2015, realized mobility higher level than planned in the grant agreement.Planned contract: Completed:Students practice: 16/48 months 39/126 monthsTeachers: 27/135 days 49/188 daysEmployees: 20/100 days 55/169 daysIn terms of mobility of academic teachers conducting classes full implementation of the mobility category was 181% planned, in the category of trips employees and for training implementation was completed at 275% of the initially assumed.

    Akademia Techniczno-Humanistyczna w Bielsku-Białej realizowała działania o charakterze mobilnościowym uwzględnione w ramach umowy finansowej numer 2018-1-PL01-KA103-047860 w roku akademickim 2018/2019 i 2019/2020. Kontrakt, przedłużony ze względu na pandemię COVID-19 o kolejne dwanaście miesięcy, czyli do 31 maja 2021 roku, pozwolił na realizację wyjazdów w kategoriach:- podjęcia części kształcenia w uczelni partnerskiej – wyjazdy na studia (SMS) w liczbie 14- wyjazdu studentów w celu odbycia praktyk – wyjazdy na praktyki (SMP) w liczbie 26- wyjazdy nauczycieli w celach dydaktycznych – wyjazdy z wykładami (STA) w liczbie 55- wyjazdy pracowników akademickich w celach szkoleniowych (STT) w liczbie 88.Studenci uczestniczący w wymianie zarówno w uczelni macierzystej jak i pozostałych podmiotach mieli możliwość podniesienia nie tylko kompetencji edukacyjnych, ale także kulturowych – w tym bardzo istotnych dla przyszłego rozwoju zawodowego – kompetencji językowych. Ponadto wyjazdy studenckie pozwoliły studentom na przełamanie barier społecznych, rozwój interpersonalny oraz budowę kapitału społecznego jeszcze przed ukończeniem toku studiów. W związku z zaistniałą sytuacją epidemiologiczną COVID-19 zarówno studenci wyjeżdżający, jak i przyjeżdżający musieli zmierzyć się z izolacją, brakiem kontaktu z rodziną, przyjaciółmi oraz rówieśnikami ze studiów. Władze Uczelni, wykładowcy, poszczególni koordynatorzy i pracownicy Działu Współpracy Międzynarodowej dołożyli wszelkich starań oraz udzielili niezbędnego wsparcia (również psychologicznego), by stres związany z czasem izolacji oraz przejściem na formułę zdalnego nauczania został zminimalizowany. Wymiana międzynarodowa stanowi jeden z najważniejszych filarów Akademii Techniczno-Humanistycznej w Bielsku-Białej. Od kilku lat największym zainteresowaniem ze strony studentów cieszą się praktyki realizowane w ramach programu Erasmus+, które trwają średnio w instytucji partnerskiej od 3 do 5 miesięcy. Najbardziej aktywną grupą studentów podnoszących kompetencje zawodowe byli studenci kierunków filologicznych oraz zarządzania. Dzięki mobilnościom społeczności lokalne zyskują absolwentów o znacznie wyższej wartości dla rynku pracy, lepiej dopasowanych do aktualnych wymogów, a wskaźniki zatrudnienia w mieście i regionie ulegają podwyższeniu. Działania te wspierają realizację jednego z celów europejskiej strategii Europa 2020 w kategorii mobilności i aktywizacji europejskiego rynku pracy. Uczelnia kontynuuje politykę zacieśnienia współpracy z pracodawcami, tworząc bazę danych i pośrednicząc w uzgadnianiu warunków, na których przyjmowani są studenci, jak również doradza miejsca pracy. Umożliwia to realizację praktyk zawodowych korespondujących z efektami kształcenia na poszczególnych kierunkach. Program praktyk w powyższych jednostkach został opracowany w porozumieniu z opiekunami praktyk w uczelni macierzystej oraz kadrą wyznaczoną przez przedsiębiorstwa lub instytucję. Ponadto Uczelnia opracowała profesjonalny katalog praktyk dla studentów przyjeżdżających (możliwość realizacji praktyki w porozumieniu z lokalnymi przedsiębiorcami i instytucjami), co znacząco podwyższyło merytoryczną wartość stażów. Co roku liczba studentów przyjeżdżających na praktyki wzrasta.Wymiana pracowników uczelni, zarówno nauczycieli akademickich jak i pracowników administracyjnych, przyczynia się do wymiany informacji dydaktycznych i kreowania kultury akademickiej sprzyjającej umiędzynarodowieniu. Ponadto pracownicy podnoszą kompetencje językowe w wyniku prowadzonych wykładów i szkoleń, co przyczynia się do opracowywania nowych kierunków studiów w języku angielskim oraz profesjonalnej obsługi studentów obcokrajowców w jednostkach administracyjnych.Akademia Techniczno-Humanistyczna w Bielsku-Białej w roku akademickim 2018/2019 zrealizowała mobilność na większym poziomie niż zaplanowano w umowie finansowej.Do celów długoterminowych Uczelni należy zwiększenie liczby mobilności studentów wyjeżdżających poprzez zintensyfikowanie działań informacyjnych i promocyjnych na poziomie wydziałów i całej uczelni oraz zwiększenie liczby mobilności studentów przyjeżdżających poprzez ściślejszy kontakt z koordynatorami uczelni partnerskich, dopracowanie informacji na stronach internetowych i rozbudowanie katalogu kursów. Długoterminowym celem pozostaje także dopracowanie i promocja bazy ofert praktyk dla studentów ATH.

    "In the academic year 2016/2017 University of Bielsko-Biala undertook a mobility project under the financial agreement number 2016-1-PL01-KA103-023623. Twenty-four-month activities allowed to carry out mobility activities in the category:- Students’ mobility for studies at partner universities (SMS);- Students’ mobility for internships;- Teachers' mobility for didactic purposes;- Academic staff mobility for training purposes.The mentioned above activities were implemented from June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2018.As part of the project activities, two sides mobility for students and university staff was provided. Students participating in the mobility program at the Home University and other Partner Institutions had the opportunity to raise not only educational competencies, but also social and key - including very important for future professional development - language competences. In addition, students' mobility allowed students to overcome social barriers, develop interpersonal skills and build social capital before graduation.Balanced mobility practice is a great value to each of the participating institutions as the implementation of a broadly understood internationalization strategy. Local communities, both at home and abroad, gain graduates with a much higher value for the labor market and entrepreneurs, better suited to the current needs of the community, who are raising employment rates in the city and region.From one year to another there is more and more interest from the students' side to implement trainships within the Erasmus+ program, which last on average from 3 to 4 months. The students of philology and management majors remained the most active group of students raising their professional competences. From academic year 2016/2017,an increase in attendance and interest in going on internships in a group of graduates has been noticed, who more and more often perceive in mobility a chance to find the target place of employment, also outside of the country. These activities support the implementation of one of the objectives of the European strategy ""Europe 2002"" - in the category of mobility and the activation of the European labor market.The university continues to strengthen cooperation with employers by signing bilateral cooperation agreements. They enable the implementation of internships corresponding to the effects of education in particular majors. The internship program in the mentioned above units has been developed in consultation with the Erasmus+ internships coordinators at the Home University and the staff appointed by enterprises or institutions. The University's long-term goal for the coming years is to expand the database of internship offers for University of Bielsko-Biala students and to extend the catalog to technical faculties. In addition, the University has developed a professional catalog of internships for incoming students (the opportunity to practice in consultation with local entrepreneurs and institutions), which significantly increased the substantive value of internships. Every year, the number of students coming to internship increases.Exchange of university staff, both academic teachers and administrative employees, will contribute to the exchange of didactic information and the creation of academic culture of internationalization.
