    L'Università per Stranieri di Perugia è la più antica e prestigiosa istituzione Italiana impegnata nel campo dell'insegnamento, della ricerca e della diffusione della lingua e cultura italiana in tutte le sue espressioni; la sua missione istituzionale include la promozione del plurilinguismo, del dialogo interculturale, della comunicazione e delle relazioni internazionali, nonché della cooperazione allo sviluppo.Fin dalla sua fondazione nel 1921 l'Ateneo vanta una vocazione internazionale e multiculturale; dall'anno 1999 partecipa sistematicamente alle azioni di mobilità Erasmus, realizzando mobilità ai fini di studio e tirocinio per gli studenti iscritti ai corsi di Laurea, Laurea Magistrale e di Dottorato di ricerca, mobilità docenti per finalità didattica e mobilità staff per formazione.Obiettivo principale è quello che accrescere e consolidare fra gli studenti e lo stesso staff dell’Ateneo una forte cultura della mobilità, con una salda consapevolezza dei vantaggi/benefici, sia di tipo personale che accademico, che queste esperienze all’estero recano ai partecipanti. Tale obiettivo viene perseguito permettendo al più alto numero possibile di studenti e staff di realizzare una esperienza di mobilità di qualità (per studio, tirocinio, formazione e docenza) che venga debitamente valorizzata sia in termini di riconoscimento di crediti formativi (studenti) che di crescita professionale (staff).I dati statistici, a riprova della qualità delle azioni di mobilità promosse, confermano il trend dell’Ateneo relativamente a:- aumento del 9% del numero delle mobilità studenti (studio+tirocinio);- aumento del 42% del numero di mobilità dello staff (formazione+docenza);- aumento del numero complessivo dei CFU riconosciuti, a conferma di una percentuale di ECTS ottenuti all’estero dagli studenti in mobilità, che si attesta con costanza ad un livello superiore alla media nazionale (dato riferito all’ultima classifica disponibile delle Migliori Università redatta da Il Sole 24 ore).Per conseguire tale risultato l’Ateneo ha orientato le proprie scelte strategiche e strutturato le proprie attività secondo 4 assi fondamentali: informazione, preparazione, sostegno e riconoscimento dell’esperienza.Come negli anni accademici precedenti tutte le graduatorie di studenti (regolarmente iscritti) e staff che hanno inoltrato regolare candidatura per esperienze di mobilità Erasmus sono state esaurite.L’Ateneo ha inoltre garantito il regolare pagamento delle mensilità aggiuntive richieste dagli studenti (9 mensilità per mobilità SMS e 9 mensilità per mobilità SMT).È stato ulteriormente ampliato il già vasto range delle collaborazioni con il fine di raggiungere la massima copertura possibile dei Programme Countries al fine di rispondere alle esigenze di approfondimento curriculare e di diversificazione delle sedi ospitanti. Attualmente gli accordi vigenti coprono 29 paesi, raggiungendo l’87% di copertura territoriale (dato riferito ai Programme Countries: EU Countries + Non-EU Countries).

    The University for Foreigners Perugia, founded in 1921, is the oldest and most prestigious Italian institution involved in teaching and research activities as well as in the diffusion of the Italian language and civilization in all its expressions; its institutional mission includes the promotion of multilingualism , intercultural dialogue and international communication, international relations and development cooperation.Since its foundation in 1921 the University for Foreigners of Perugia has been characterized by a multicultural and international vocation; starting from 1999 the University participates regularly in the Erasmus mobility actions as natural expression of its institutional mission, organizing students' mobility for study and traineeship purposes (for students enrolled in first, second and third level degree courses), mobility of administrative staff for training purpose and mobility of teaching staff for teaching purposes.The main aim is allowing the highest percentage of its students to experience an outbound mobility as part of the academic curriculum, thus enriching their personal experience background.The results obtained confirmed that, as happened in the last academic year, the percentage of the students who benefitted from an Erasmus scholarship compared to the number of the enrolled ones, is three times higher than the national average; once again, all the applicants satisfying minimum criteria of quality appointed in the call for selections have been offered the possibility of a mobility experience.The range of partnerships has been further enlarged to reach and cover great part of the European countries to face the need for diversification in terms of didactic aspects and hosting Institutions.

    The University for Foreigners Perugia, founded in 1921, is the oldest and most prestigious Italian institution involved in teaching and research activities as well as in the diffusion of the Italian language and civilization in all expressions. Since 1999 the University takes regurarly part in the Erasmus mobility actions as natural expression of its international and intercultural vocation, organising students' mobility for study and traineeship purpose (for students enrolled in first, second and thirds level degree courses), mobility of administrative staff for training purpose and mobilities of teaching staff for teaching purpose.The main aim is allowing the highest percentage of the enrolled students to experience an outbound mobility as part of their academic curriculum.The results obtained show that the percentage of the students who benefitted from an Erasmus scholarship is higher than the national average, all the applicants have been offered the possibility of a mobility spot upon regular application.The range of cooperations has been been enlarged to reach and cover almost all the European countries to face the need of diversification in terms of didactic aspects and hosting insitutions.

This objective is pursued allowing the highest possible number of mobility abroad either for students (for study and traineeship purpose) and staff (for training and teaching purpose) that is recognized and enhanced in terms of ECTS credits for students and professional growth for staff.As a confirmation of the quality of the mobility programmes activated, the statistics show that the percentage of ECTS acquired abroad by students is 7% of the overall credit quota, this percentage is considerably higher than the national average as stated in the Rank of the best Italian Universities published by the “Il Sole 24 Ore”.To achieve this result the University has oriented and structured its own strategies according to 4 main axis: Information, Preparation, Support and Recognition of the experience.Once again, all the applicants satisfying minimum criteria of quality appointed in the call for selections have been offered the possibility of a mobility experience. The range of partnerships has been further enlarged to reach and cover great part of the European countries to face the need for diversification in terms of didactic aspects and hosting Institutions.
